I had a bad experience staying in this hotel. I booked an executive AC bed room for 3 adults and one child through make my trip app on 23rd Oct for Rs 6681(two nights stay) and even specified in the app for 3 +1 bed. The images posted by the hotel on the App was satisfactory as per our need. So we booked it. But when we reached the hotel the staff of reception was not ready to provide that room, they told us that such a room facility is not available in their hotel. They told us that we got cheated by the App but I definitely think the hotel is responsible for this mistake since they are ones who posted that images as their hotel room facilities. They were not ready to adjust with our requirement. We were compelled to adjust with a small double bedroom and I had to sleep on the floor with the extra bed they provided after my complaint to accommodate my family. It was really a painful experience due to the irresponsibility of the hotel. Later they showed us a room with two double beds but the room didn't have much facilities for a family and was not at all tidy. Choosing this hotel was a wrong decision and I regret about it.

While checkin the receptionist at the hotel asked for identity cards for two person (me & my father). I gave them a copy of mine but he won't agree, I don't know what they thought of us. Even 5 star hotels don't ask ID cards for each and every person or guest. I immediately left the hotel with my father, and found a much better hotel. I won't recommend this hotel for the poor hospitality and overkill formalities.

Rooms conditions can be rated above average. Rooms are available at different prices which differ in bed capacity, toilet type, or air-conditioner facility. Walkable distance from central railway station and bus stand. A cinematic theatre is very close to it.

A good hotel to stay with family. The place is very close to the Trivandrum railway station . The staff is very helpful. We wanted an early check-in at 5 am and hotel staff were very accommodating. The rooms are very well maintained, bathrooms are quite clean and neat. The hotel has good parking space as well and rates are very reasonable

First Impressions of the Hotel: The hotel looks very decent from the outside, and we initially felt that it was a great choice, but later on, we had huge regrets. All the staff members were rude and unhelpful. Now, moving on to the review: When we arrived at the hotel, it was 11:30 AM, and our check-in time was 12:00 PM, just 30 minutes away. I asked the reception if we could have early access to our room as the ladies needed to use the restroom. However, they informed us that we would have to pay an additional Rs 600 for just 30 minutes, which seemed unreasonable considering the hotel's quality. After complaining to the hotel booking company, they provided good support, and we were able to check-in. Once we entered the room, we noticed there was no drinking water available, and there was only one common water filter on the ground floor. The room had only one single light, and there were no lights in the bathroom either. When we informed the hotel reception about this issue, they said they couldn't install a light immediately. After multiple complaints and requests, highlighting the safety concern of someone falling in the bathroom, they assured us that they would arrange a light for the next day. The most frustrating aspect was the malfunctioning AC. It was only displaying "On" but didn't provide any cooling. Additionally, it would automatically change its temperature. After lodging a complaint, the hotel staff informed us that they couldn't do anything about it. The walls had peeling paint (the POP of the wall was coming out). There were no blankets or towels in the room. Even after numerous complaints to the hotel booking portal, the hotel only provided us with bedsheets instead of proper blankets. Furthermore, the blanket and room had a foul smell, and we also encountered rodents and insects since there was no pest control. Can you imagine a three-star hotel without proper lighting, drinking water, bedsheets, towels, or a functioning AC despite paying for one? In conclusion, I strongly recommend against booking hotels like this solely based on their location, as they are not worth the high cost. This review reflects the real and genuine experience we had, highlighting the harsh reality of this hotel.

πŸ‘ŽDon't Book the rooms here. "WORST" hotel of the city..Rooms are very small like cabins, not clean and bed bugs too for the company . Bath room water comes directly to your room. When you book through online at check in... these people ask for extra.....After long travel we usually says OK.....NO HOT WATER in the mornings.. Reception Staff are very "RUDE"... acting like.. I don't know..... it's like....the only hotel of the town πŸ‘Ž

Near Trivandrum Central railway station, good location, value for money. Hotel with car parking and near the temple. I recommend for friends and family. Suggestion to hotel management they can replace old mattresses(Room no-120) for comfortable stay and door height can be increase. Thanks πŸ‘

For tourists who have odd-time flights for them this is the best hotel to be. It’s in the heart of Trivandrum. Even the staff Mr. Unni and Mr.Ajit Kumar are cooperative. However, I’m personally not satisfied with room condition. Also, food facilities are not there but location is prime so you can easily get food in the vicinity.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Trivandrum, booking a non-AC double room. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The room lacked basic amenities such as a blanket, towel, and soap, making our stay uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, and to add to the frustration, the TV was broken. Upon checking out, we observed another room with AC that presented an entirely different standard. This stark contrast raises concerns about the hotel's perception of guests who opt for non-AC rooms. Every guest, regardless of their choice, deserves a comfortable and clean environment. It's disheartening to feel that the management may underestimate the expectations of those who choose non-AC accommodations. It's crucial for hotels to recognize the importance of maintaining consistent quality across all room types and treating every guest with respect, irrespective of their choice of accommodation. My brief stay at Hotel Venkateswara has left a lasting impression, and unfortunately, it's not a positive one.

I had the worst experience with Hotel Venkateswara, the main issue was there was no network inside the room. I asked them to change the room, and the reply they gave was some work was going on outside that's why no network. When setting out of the room and in the reception area the phone will get full network. While checking in, the receptionist or hotel staff had never mentioned that the room wouldn't get network. The room looks nice for the budget but staying for one night will be a difficult task because of the bathroom. The bathroom smelled bad, and it was very hard to tolerate, which made me really uncomfortable. The smell from the bathroom was giving me a headache and felt like to vomit. Also, the check-in process also had a delay of 30 minutes. Before taking the room it's better to check the room and condition of the bathroom and also importantly whether you are getting network on your phone. I made the booking through MakeMyTrip, and due to this issue, I left the hotel in the evening and shifted to another place.

Rooms were neat and clean, totally worthy for the amount paid. Railway station & bus stand is nearby. The restaurant at the hotel was not functional, closed for maintenance. But there are restaurants nearby. I've paid extra β‚Ή230 for early check-in at 6:30am, still it's worthy for the price. The receptionist was nice, he helped with fast check-in.

I took the room in the first week of July 2022. The first entry was a good collaboration but no consideration after payment. I demand three times for a blanket for β‚Ή900 non ac bedroom. In the end, when it came to not getting it, I had to talk like begging. Then they spread a bed sheet. my good time Or I would have frozen in the July cold. Services are okey. NB for all hotel.(Make sure everything is in order before checking in the room. If they say they will deliver it later, you are stuck)

Only good thing about this hotel is its location it's in a walkable distance from central railway station and bus stand. Rooms are pathetic. Small congested rooms. There where lot of bed bugs. Even water logged into the ground floor rooms when it's rained. I will never ever choose this hotel again

Worst ever Hotel ! Pathetic One ! β˜ΉοΈβ˜ΉοΈβ˜ΉοΈπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž They Claim that it is 3 Star Hotel ! And what are the service offered in 3 Star hotel?? Nobody from hotel staff took our luggage to the room. We only had to take the luggage to the rooms. Imagine ! With children family members are taking luggage to the rooms ! This is 3 star Facility ! No package drinking Water bottles in 3 star hotel executive room. No Towel inside room. When I called room service for Towels, He provided me one towel. Dirty stains & Wet towel. When I asked him to change the towel, He said sorry sir we don't have another towel. I went to receptionist Miss. Mini to ask why didn't they check for towels before providing the rooms? After So much arguments they provided me a single towel ! Two executive rooms & a single towel ! No hot water in bathrooms at morning 10 am ! πŸ™„πŸ™„. When I talked to room service, what he said? Sir Hot water only at morning 4:30 to 6:00. Huh !! A 3 star hotel provides Hot water during only early Morning Hours 🀣🀣. When I tak I booked 2 executive rooms, Noticably there was nothing like executive Bed size too small that 2 person can hardly Manage to sleep. I have been to many hotels & Most hotel's deluxe room beds are larger than this one ! And they call it executive rooms.

I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were cleaned good and the hotel is near railway station and bus stand just 5min walking distance. The rooms are little bit small but for 700 rupees for a night it's okay

I checked the internet for a stay near Trivandrum Railway station & saw that Hotel Venkateswara is 3 Star and Stayed. That's why I'm submitting this review. For 2 days, I stayed in Hotel Venkateswara Non-Ac Standard Room with my wife, and checked in on the 13th February 08.00 pm and checked out on 15th 10.00 Am. 13 nights something was biting us I thought that might be mosquito & I can see some flying & biting too but I couldn't care because we were traveling in day time & we slept with the disturbance of itching and pain. Lack of blanket I tried in the land phone to call reception to inform both cases (mosquito & blanket) but phone itself not working. (TV Also not working). On the 14th morning we went out and we came back in the night. Because of yesterday's itching & pain.. I went to reception & requested blanket but late night they provided blanket. After that around 11.30 we were on to sleep something bites so hard and realised this is not mosquito. Suddenly switched on the lights and we saw BED BUGS 🐞 That movement i was so ambaressed, and we searched and find lot of bedbugs and we sealed them with sellotape and we lost our sleep because of Bedbug fear. And lots of other problems too. Thanks Hotel Venkateswara.

The room was full of dust including the bed. Floor was so dirty. I don’t think so they clean it properly before check in or after checkout. So disappointed with the cleanliness. Receptionist lady doesn’t care about the client standing in front of her, she was busy doing something else and never ask me to sit. It’s like they are doing some favor to us. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. Service is pathetic, rooms are tiny despite of booking super deluxe room, there are bedbugs in the mattress, bathrooms were stinking, receptionist was not at all professional, rude and they simply don't care. For an instance, our bathroom lights were not working which we realised in the evening and upon informing, they said the electrician can only come after 10PM and the whole evening we managed in mobile torch - and electrician never showed up. Thankfully we had booked this horrible place just for a day else we all would have gone mad. The one and only advantage is the location as it is very near to trivandrum central and lots of decent restaurants are nearby. Looks cam be deceptive- please do not go by the pictures available on the internet.

We, Four of freinds stayed in the hotel 7-8 Dec 2023. Rooms are very ordinary.must rooms have pillar in the middle of room. Very old hotel. Service is pathetic. Restaurant closed for renovation for several months. Don't even get basic service which was bad.basically don't care for customers. Location is only advantage with this hotel

The only good thing I felt about the hotel is its decent and close enough to railway station and temple though I didn't visit railway station. The rooms are very compact, they provide common water filter on the floor instead of water bottles even during covid times. Nothing else about it.

Located at the prime location of the city, I expected the hotel to be well maintained. But, the rooms were dusty. Months old dust accumulated over the lampshade and tubelights. This was an AC room. My friend got her dust allergy flared up because of it. Another room we booked were relatively clean but claustrophobic.

Very worst place if you want to experience Issues which we faced while we stayed for one day are 1. Door heights are not more than 5' 9 " so people who are more than this height have to be more careful while entering main as well as toilet. I hit 2 times 2. The room has circular column placed at 2'0" from outer wall . Because of this issue , one of our family member hit on forehead and 3 switches had to be done . This happened while trying to get in toilet during early hours of day in the morning 3. Outer wall fixed with AC did bring water when it was raining. 4. In the bill they mentioned cash refunded but they did not give any cash

Cheap but very very small rooms, with no ventilation at all (non AC rooms). So rooms will smell. If you have too much of luggage, you won't be able to even set a foot inside your room. Literally. I repeat. Very very small rooms. Restaurant is very average.

Delux room but very small with a big pillar inside. I was given extra bed but without cot. The staff did not help me place the bed. The staff did not carry my luggage to the room. I was with my family. It is very bad experience. I was tired after travel and they did not help me with luggage. In the morning i wanted an auto to the railway station but staff did not help me find auto

Very very very very bad experience. The manager (Mr. Ajith) verbally abused us and when we pointed it out he marched towards us and started shouting what will we do. Even while giving the complaint Mr. Ajith thought I was a joker and was suppressing his laughter, this happened multiple times until I pointed it out. We had to wait in the lobby for more than half hour even tho we had booked the rooms online. After a really long time we got the room but the ac, charging port, landline weren't working. After we complaint they didnt attend us instead they told us to call a number and deal with it ourselves. After some time supervisor came and fixed a new room for us. Drainage system wasn't working in the new room, we had to go and complaint again and again all the chaos. They opened the pipe and everything after which we questioned about their service after which the manager verbally abused us and marched towards us. This hotel has no regards about safety of any lady.
