If there was 0 stars for review I would have put that . My parents stayed there during March end . They made reservations through booking.com where it is told that this hotel is 3 star with kettle facilities etc Honestly this hotel is in a filthy location with no proper facilities. There is no kettle , no hangars in bathroom to keep towels , small sized bed even though a queen bed was booked , not at all neat rooms , dirty bedsheets . This hotel is not even 2 star in terms of facilities provided. Kindly refrain from staying there.

Starting from the reception ,there is no hospitality.Treats like we are staying on their mercy.While doing payment via UPI the transaction was successful from my side and I showed the receipt for the same.Ten minutes later room boy came to my room and told that the payment has not been credited to the owners account so he wants to talk to me.The owner told me to give them cash ,if he receives the money he will deposit back to me.Honestly this is the first time I am seeing such a problem,amount debited from my side successfully ,not credited to the beneficiary.Since I was with my family I was forced to pay that money.Next day I vaccated from there.After that I continuously followed up him through phone,everytime he is sending the GPAY transaction statement that it has not been credited to his account.I asked him to check with his bank and send the SOA from bank,beacuse meanwhile I checked with my bank and they confirmed that payment was credited to his account on that day itself.After 8 days he returned my cash back.Such a worst experience.Horrible

We booked Booked 2 rooms via Agoda 2 months in advance. When we went there they said the room we booked was not available and asked us to pay 700rs extra for the available room. After talking to agoda customer care they agreed to reimburse the extra paid. But then the hotel refused to give the room. Hotel then told the rooms are not available even though we agreed to pay extra 700/-. We were standing in the road for 2 hours with kid and had look for another hotel. Manager’s attitude was very rude.

This hotel business will become worse only with the manager who is there in the morning, others staffs are ok. This hotel is not recommended for a family staff others its fine with the budget. The manager is cranky while calling. I think he is the owner of this residency business. Please think twice before go for this booking. The rate is comparitively less but the service you will get is terrible.

Basically we were on the move, wanted to find a hotel nearby to temple where we can get refreshed and move on. This meghna residency served our purpose. The rooms were clean and tidy. Spacious bathroom which was maintained well. Served the purpose. They got instant water heater and is good. A note of caution, at bathroom, it can get slippery when you take bath. The soap water makes the floor slippery and one needs to be cautious about it. This hotel is close by to temple. They also got decent parking space. If you need to have any tasty food, you can find Saravana bhavan. Hotel staffs are courteous, Overall it's good !

Its a scam dont book meghna residency through any online portal. I have booked this hotel for 2 days - 18 day’s advance with full payment. The room was given to someone else and they are asking me to cancel the booking. You will be under pathetic condition at last moment.

A 300 to 400 range stay given at 1000. Had a nightmare of stay here. I had made the booking via MakeMyTrip and also called the property to confirm the booking. 8 reached the property by 11.00PM as my train was late by 4 hours. My name wasn't there in the booking register (a handwritten one with name of guests booked for the day). Then they asked for booking voucher, payment proof, booking date and probably everything. Since my part was ok the receptionist called someone over phone and at last got the key after 15-20 minutes of discussions over phone. Now coming to the room : It was in 3rd floor and no lift is there. The door was kind of jammed at lower portion and the receptionist himself struggled to get it open with some pushing and kicking on the door. When opened we were really disappointed to see the room. The bedsheets was with full of stains and dirty. And we spread the blanket over it to sleep. No hangers for our cloth. No telephone to reach reception and no water provided. The bed can't be said a double bed. It was small for 2 persons. Struggled to lock the door from inside. The key wasn't locking properly. The fan was making a noise which really affected our sleep. When we went asleep somehow a heavy rain started and we felt some water drizzles inside the room. No hot water in the bathroom and a too small bathroom. These are the things that I can now recollect. Meghna residency disappointed me very much.

God sake, please don't use this place. I was waiting in the reception for 30 Minutes and no one turned up. Even after me booking for 3 adult and paid 1700 rupees per day they waked the third person to sleep on the floor, toilet is stinking. I never seen such a worst place to stay in this whole world.

A couple of months ago, we booked 2 non-air-conditioned rooms through Agoda. At the property, they told us there was only one non-AC room available, and the second one would cost an additional fee. As a result, we contacted Agoda. Agoda said to get a receipt from the hotel so they can refund the money. It was impossible to get the bill from the hotel owner. As a result, we contacted agoda again. The discussion lasted for 2.5 hours. After that agoda team said they will refund the amount even without the bill. But the hotel guy is not ready to give the room they asked us to leave the hotel in a rude manner.

I was left with no alternative but to book this place, and it turned out to be a worst experience. The staff is rude and lacked cooperation, the beds were uncomfortably small, and the bathroom locks were faulty. The rooms themselves were far from ideal. The only good thing is the proximity to the temple. My strong recommendation would be to avoid booking this hotel altogether.

Rooms are neat and have enough space. We spent two days there. The first day we spent in a non ac room. Which was so good and 1000Rs charged without any advanced booking. Next day they offer an AC room with 2000Rs as no non Ac room available for that day. But that room is not up to the expections bathroom equipment was complaint. I didn't think it was worth the money. Also i am advising to book before you go to any hotel else they will change the rooms and rent rate with excuses . I came to know the book through "makemytrip" was the cheapest.

Nice, clean and tidy rooms. Close to saravan bhavan and Padmanabha swamy temple. Ideal for staying for couple of days. No lift and limited parking can be a downside of ur with senior citzens

Book only if you want to spend a day visiting Sri Padmanabha Swamy temple which is 600m away. Else not for family or couples stay. Rooms too small with no basic amenities.

I liked the room, it was spacious, neat and clean, the house keeping staff were very good and prompt. *The bathroom floor is slippery* so be careful while using it. The manager is a crack head though, I was nearly going to cancel my booking because of his madness but glad i didn't, everything was very near by from this hotel, the temple, bus stop & railway station, market area etc.

Average hotel with average service Near to the temple, rooms aren't very clean and the bed isn't that great too. Slightly overpriced. Can be considered for a quick stay during a temple visit.

Nice place for someone wants visit Sreekandeswaran expecially Nirmallyam darsan. Ground floor Ac room costs us 1800 and new caretaker Manu is good with nice service.

Booked AC deluxe room for trivandrum visit. Room as well as bathroom were neat and clean.. very good location as it is near to Padmanabhan Swami temple.. few problems need to be addressed by owner/manager as there was no available rod in cupboard to use the provided hangers for clothes.. and although I have booked double bed(6x6) but find that it was just a bed with 5x6 only.. which is found almost in all the hotels..but got extra bedding at additional cost.. overall good hotel to stay.. we enjoyed trivandrum visit..
