Need to change the name from silver sand to old sand hotel.. the whole hotel from inside is old like 80s. With all old doors and amenities specially the bathroom. Foul smell all over the room.And its back of the railway station which is noisy as hell.. and the receptionist's behavior is like they are running a 7star hotel. There are far better hotels nearby.

Food is really great here. I don't recommend noodles here, if not everything is tastes good. Paratha is really great. Rooms in this hotel is good and neat. It is just behind the Trivandrum Central Railway station. It is too easy to walk from the station. The only issue was during our check out. While we check-in we informed the manager than we will check-out after 24 hours and we did our initial payment. Later he asked us to pay two days rent for extra one hour which he initially agreed and was mentioned in the bill too. He was bit rude and kept on asking for extra charges despite the signed bill. He asked us to leave even without paying, like he was harsh but we did pay. Also, there was no hot water in eay morning from 5 to 7 and no one at the reception that time. If not both the room and the hotel is good here.

Located nearby railway station, has its own restaurant which serves both veg food and non veg food. A/c rooms are more cleaner then the non a/c rooms. You can also listen to railways announcement and even see so many trains coming and leaving from the windows. A budget hotel and good place.

I had authentic Kerala fish curry meals from here yesterday. It was really yummm.. the quality was excellent. I also ordered a fish fry, which was really fresh n tasty. Also a chicken fry which was nice. Adding to my surprise the bill for all these for two of us was way below 500.. 😊 Highly recommended...

Wrost hotel experience in entire trip .... I booked 2 rooms from goibibo ( in online they posted nice images and when went to originality the rooms are wrost ) Both rooms given to me doesn't have proper locks and no proper cleaning you can sence bad smell from outside of your room. And finally beds are the wrost as rocks. You can literally notice beds in the form of sea waves 🌊🌊. They mentioned wifi facilities available in online but after asking many times they gave wifi details and that too only 1 person can use at a time. Only benifit near to railway station.

Worst experience... irresponsible management. Room booked for 2 days and after half day stay they told us to move to another hotel.Seems they have received some bulk booking and there was no sufficient rooms.

We had a great experience here. We arrived early in the morning, however we only had to check into our room at 12 noon. So, for the time being, we were helped by being allotted a standard room till 12 noon. The room booked was AC and it was a very comfortable room. The dinner we had at the attached restaurant was delicious.

Worst experience than any other hotels in trivandrum. Pungent smell in almost all rooms. Rooms are not hygiene and not even toilets.

13th October 2023,I had stayed this room on e night. Full of bug in this rooms and hearing always train horn noise in room. The amount of thousand rupees is not worth and waste hotel in city

The worst experience I had in my service in visit to TVM.We had booked rooms for a training on 1st Dec 23 and on arrival from palakkad at 5 am in the morning a person in the reception informed that there checking tome is 12 pm and they can provide room only after 12 pm. Persons are coming to TVM either for meeting and training and all will start at 10 or 11 pm by providing room after 12 pm there is no use for booking room and the attitude of staff is so rude that I leave the premise and taken another room in high price.Every body please note please don't book room in this hotel if you are co.ing I'm morning hours and they will allocate the rooms in first come basis and you will be in trouble.

The non ac roons are full of bugs... I changed 3 rooms in the night after my arrival at midnight,, the last one they gave me was also full of bugs. And the very next morning I moved to a very nice hotel of 1000 Rs,, which was 200% worthy compared to this hotel's price rate...this happend on September 2023.. Hope they make it good very soon... The rooms need a complete renovation..

We booked a stay for 3 nights and 4 days (last month), the stay was average. Location also is good its near the railway station. We paid for our breakfast for 3 days. First of all all 3 days had the exact same breakfast with no change, and while giving breakfast they had a rule of 2 plates per person. They delayed the breakfast all the days by nearly 30 mins and they clearly either refuse to give another dish or they delay the other plate so much that you wouldn't feel like eating. Even the prices on the menu card are stating some other price but they charge nearly 20-30 rupees extra telling that the prices have increased but we forgot to mention it in the menu card. Recommend you not to use their restaurant services.They didn't even give the water bottles that were complementary with the stay.

Please don't go with an expectation, far difference from the room that shown in google pics and there were many bugs in that room and it is just near to railway station, can't sleep at night due to noise. As a positive side their restaurant and staffs behaviour was ok

As far as Hotel is concerned,it's on main centre of Trivandrum railway station and accessable to Famous Places. Rooms are So So with not much facilities as it seems to be old construction. Hotel staff are not that customer friendly. One needs to give couple of reminder if you need any room service. Breakfast is not buffet but you have to order the same if your charges are inclusive of breakfast. Options in breakfast is very limited. I observed attitudes with service staff. Last but not the least, Don't book the rooms facing Railway station as there are lots of Honkings of incoming and outgoing trains, which will not give you peaceful sleep during night.

This hotel just in front of Thiruvananthapuram railway station. You can have a view of railway station from the window of hotel room. Staffs are good and cooperative. There is also restaurant inside the hotel. Room size may be small but it is adjustable.

Easily accessible.. neat and clean. Great view if you love trains and tracks..Not good if you are someone who loves peace and silence. Food quality is average.. not that great but ok. Rooms are neat and clean..

Food is good, Staff are just "OKAY". Parking spaces is available. Overall experience is nice you can visit with family and have a quality time.

Nice budget accomodation near railway station.. walking distance.. Food is avarage and rooms are also avarage... Less responsive staff and checkin process... They have car parking space... Overall good to spend one night or two ..

One of the Best Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram with ample parking space. Cleanliness ,Good food and Polite Behavior of staff. Situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram City.

Stayed there for two nights and 3 days. Rooms are clean but old. The rooms close to the railways tracks are very noisy. Being an old room, the fan in my room was running on single speed.

Positives: Proximity: Close to Trivandrum railway station & Bus terminal. Reception: Friendly staff. Even if a family enters, they would need every member's ID (maybe it's a good initiative to block illicit activities) Restaurant: Food is okay. Have a juice parlour too. The order doesn't take too long. Pricing is genuine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Negatives: Nothing except the lift where hardly 2 people can enter. Summary: It's an old hotel. So expectations for ravishing interiors and facilities may not be met. They're doing their best. Apt for individuals coming to Trivandrum especially for official purposes and looking for an affordable accomodation.

Nice stay. Near tvm railway station. Neat and tidy. Good meals provided at restaurant. Good service and nice staff at a very reasonable price. Ac suite room is pretty good for family.

Its a value for money. The price you paid for this hotel is optimum. All hotels are expensive than this one. Restaurant is nice downstairs. Service is good. Rooms are ok. Location is very close to railway station.
