Good South Indian place with boarding options. The biggest advantage is the location. It's right next to the padmanabhan swamy temple and is 2 km from the railway station and many tourist spots. The food is good with multiple cuisines. But rooms are decent at best. We faced a lot of issues with mosquitoes and lighting. If you are looking for a budget place to stay this can be a good option. The owner also provides some good deals on cabs.

A nice place for all vegans out there. This restaurant always gives us a mixed feelings. We used to have masala dosa from here. Today we tried noodles and chilli parotta and its was below average. So my recommendation is to always choose masala dosa or some dosa variety. Service was good. No parking facility.

Super food... one of the best vegetarian food in Trivandrum.. the location is on the west fort near the sree padmanabha Swami temple entrance... It's a must try food spot for the food lovers as well as vegetarians.

Near by west nada of Padmanabh swami temple. Only 50 meter from temple. Room are clean but little bit small. Okay and safe for stay. Also Udupi hotel on ground floor serves tasty food.

Restaurant and rooms both are available here. Food is tasty. Restaurant has separate fine dining area as well.Due to the high footfall to Trivandrum, the check-in timings can get delayed. You have to wait for some time to get your booked room tidy. Check-out is bit flexible here. Owner is kind hearted soul and treats his guest,in case of any emergency.I recommend this restaurant as well as the lodge for the other travellers.

Very bad experience from this restaurant. Tried masala dosa, vada and chapati kuruma set via swiggy. Masala dosa taste is average and the size is too small. For vada, it is very small and cost 17 rs. Item taste is also not upto the mark. And finally the curry served with chapathi, i don't know what was that, really bad in taste and got unclean uncooked vegetables from it. Seems very unhealthy and i didn't eat that food. Total waste restaurant

If you want a good breakfast , this is a great place. The A/C part of the restaurant has a good ambience and the service is good too. Very crowded during peak hours. The lodging however is not so great. Ours was a corner A/C two double bed room and it was good except for the fact that the AC was slightly dripping and a portion of the wall was damp. It is an old structure and if you are planning only one night stay, it is fine.. But beyond that, it is not so great for the simple fact that there is no parking. We fortunately got a paid parking just two doors away near a flower shop. So that was good. The AC room on the opposite side however was really bad as an entire wall was damp and the room was smelling damp. We had a guest who had to stay there and this was a bit embarrassing for us as we did the booking and this wasn't mentioned.

Today while I was traveling from Korutla to Hyderabad our bus stopped here for breakfast at 7.30 am , i had idly wada with chutney and sambar and the taste was top class especially sambar was too good , during my conversation with driver he said poori and curry also good , it's on the main road towards Hyderabad, hotel is neatly maintained and staff was also good , it's a self service based and you got to collect your tiffin after giving the token , men wash room was very small and it was averagely maintained So for food 4 stars Ambiance 3 stars Wash room 3 stars from me Overall 4 stars

I am updating the latest feedback. Hotel is not clean and the behaviour form the hotel staff is 0/%. Food is not tasty as we prefer this hotel. I have got a very very bad experience from sree Udupi veg restaurant. I prefer to go another hotel to have healthy food.

Udupi's masala dosa is being one of the best they have ever had. The dosa is described as being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a flavorful filling of spiced potatoes. The chutneys and sambar served alongside the dosa are also highly regarded, Authentic taste and perfect balance of flavors. Overall, if you're a fan of South Indian cuisine and looking for a delicious and authentic masala dosa, Udupi vegetarian restaurant seems to be a highly recommended option.

Tasty veg food near Padmanabha Swami temple . We ordered ghee roast , masala dosa, poori , tea and juice. The washroom was not so clean . There are no parking facilities and the area has a bit more traffic.

Big rush restaurant. There are many restaurants in the same street. This is just one of them. You will get same food on all restaurants. As this is near Temple, there are lot of customers. There is nothing negative about the restaurant, just an average one

One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Trivandrum. Mostly crowded due devotees of Padmanabha Swami temple. Price is also affordable.

Recently I visited Sri Udupi Hotel for lunch and for a vegetarian lover their meal is enough, enough side dishes, payasam (desert) and overall a pretty meal. Their services were also good and the staff are well behaved and good to customers.The dining spaces are also good but 'NO PARKING' area you need to find roadside for parking.

Nice waiters. Daily they keep 2 plantain leaves and meals for my frnd and me.. such a caring ppl. In the case of dish, i like almost everything .but sometimes it is too spicy.. overall it is a nice bhojanalaya

Its a very old but refurbished hotel. Well known for their vegetarian menu. Located near to the legendary Padmanabhaswami temple and also to S P Fort hospital. No matter whether you go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they serve the food from the menu with utmost satisfaction. Their classic 'Masala dosa' will be my recommendation to all those who want to try something from this hotel.

VISITED IN SEPT 2022. SEATS WERE ALMOST FULL AT MORNING TIME,ESPECIALLY DEVOTEES OF PADMANABHASWAMI TEMPLE . I THINK IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR FOOD, BUT MASALA DOSA AND POORI SERVED WITHIN 5 MINUTES.CLEAN TABLES AND TASTY FOOD......

Good food. Really Tasty. But it takes half an hour for them to serve. During my second visit after 2 days i thought I'll pack food from there as it takes long time to serve. They took about 45 minutes to get the parcel done. Probably short staffed.

Good tasty vegetarian food. Clean ambience. Biggest advantage is that they have AC seating arrangements. Ghee roast dosa, masala dosa, plain dosa, kothu Parota, chapati and curry and juices are good. Little bit pricy but food is good. Car parking is not available so that is a biggest miss, there is a pay and park available next to the building space for people convience.

Food is nice, but stay is just ok. They don't even have time to pick up a call. They manage the stay with their limited resources and skills so can't expect more Also, it's not in walkable distance from railway station (1.5km)

Worst food taste. Worst service. Waiters show attitude and they won't respect customers. They brought cool food when we ordered. Don't select this as your residence if u have to stay for 2 to 3 days.
