Not sure why the hotel has a five star rating. But the ambience, atmosphere and view is great. The nearby lake offers fun activities. Everything seemed nice. But it has to include some more services to keep the five star rating worthy.

I suggest you to avoid this place outright. The hotel is very well constructed. However, it is not maintained at all. First of all the hotel is situated in very average locality and there is nothing around the hotel except for small houses. Even if you want a restaurant, you must have to travel a lot. The locality itself is very under developed. And I would like to state that the tiles of the swimming pool or broken and it will hurt if you step on them. The tiles are of very small cubes and most of the tiles have broken. And the pool has a lot of dust and insect floating on top of it and overall, it is disgusting to get inside the pool. There is no great amenities. The service is very excellent and the staff are very polite. However, that alone is not enough. The bathrooms flooring is not properly done and so the water will be stagnant always. Overall, I think the hotel has been constructed in a great way and it has an excellent excellent team of staff but it has lost its charm now and I suggest you not to go here.

My rating above is not for the stay as I attended a function there. This hotel is located next to a beautiful lake. Has beautiful garden. That should deserve a clear 5 star rating. However, food quality, cleanliness and service needs much improvement and hence is the 3 start rating!

Best hotel with an affordable price. What surprises me is their rooms, hospitality and food. Good Bar with happy hours and great bartenders. Best place to spend your vacation because there are a lot of activities nearby. Also you will get fresh lake fishes at the best price.

Loved the two night stay at this pretty property with a lake facing view, a large garden, swimming pool and a kids play gym. Rooms are super luxurious so was the jacuzzi. Food was delicious too.

An absolutely fabulous place to stay near Trivandrum. The rooms are truly luxurious and hospitality is amazing. Special thanks to Ms Sheethal and Rahul for making our stay memorable. The restaurant staff was very warm too. The hotel has got a big lawn at the backside before touching the beautiful lake where you can also go for Kayaking. They have a nice swimming pool, a games room with Billiards, carrom, chess, etc. You can also play badminton for fun, though don’t have a proper court. Heard they have a theatre room too but wasn’t available when we stayed. Overall it was a great experience.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. Lake Palace is just awesome We had stayed for 2 days, Staffs are very friendly at Front Desk, Swimming pool is nice and Kids play area and other games also, really enjoyed.

Excellent hotel, nice big room. Clean. Staff are friendly and cooperative. The bathroom can improve, don't know why they decided to jacuzzi in the shower, they don't work. It's a bar hotel, so alcohol is available. Stayed there to visit Varkala. It's 23 kms and a beautiful scenic drive to Varkala.

The service was amazing,they have a room with a splendid view. They staffs are very co-operative especially Mr. Arun , he helped us through our entire stay. the food was the tastiest i have had in a while too,I would definitely recommend anyone to come to the resort to have a relaxing day and to enjoy the scenic beauty with wonderful service.

Hotel has a nice lake view and a garden. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, easy check-in process. While being a 5 star hotel there is no gym, limited daycation activities. House boat experience could have been an excellent option if the they add it. Area of the property near water front is not well maintained, with two street dogs roaming near the lake. Wooden platform in the boat jetty is not well maintained, which otherwise could have served as a photo shoot location due to non availability of boating.

Had a office team Outing with close to 15 people for 5 rooms. Had second thoughts later of purchasing from website based on the final quote. But exceptions were given with breakfast, access to swimming pool(not that great of water and pool floor tiles were broken), game room, kayaking which was between 8am to 9am and 4pm to 5pm. Quiet an experience at the end of the day. It's like a place within a remote place outside the city even thought not so far from the city as well. Do note that there is a BAR enabled, so locals do roam around for alcohol around the locality. Apart from that, it's not bad after.. oh, avoid the snack bar with over priced items on MRP. They do have locker, laundry, iron and ironing board and also a refrigerator.

Been here multiple times for dayouts with family and friends. Located in a calm and serene location overlooking kadinamkulam lake. We always enjoyed the Kayaking in the lake while being here. Guide Rahul is amazing and he taught me few things about kayaking as well. All the staffs are very helpful. Good buffet lunch and there is enough indoor and outdoor activities including a great pool to keep you engaged. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Hotel is not good as a 5 star hotel , can be a 4 or 3 star as it focuses mainly on bar. Crowd is not good there lot of random boys coming inside the hotel bar in the night. There is nothing much to do in this hotel we booked to expect something good but it is just a waste of money. Also the room given to us was not used from long looks like as there was spider web near light and it was next to pantry room in the corner. It was really uncomfortable during breakfast time both the days as there was huge crowd of men and there was no family and lot of noise in the breakfast hall. Location is far from city booked because of lake but couldnt find any worth in anything. Forgot to add breakfast was too bad on first day there were very less option and fridge was also not operational in the room

With a panoramic view to kadinamkulam lake, this resort fits well for families looking for weekend outing. Kayaking facility available till 5pm. Outdoor games can be conducted. Pool is currently under maintenance. Cuisine seems tasty.

About 30 km from Trivandrum city. This is definitely a treat. . Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Service -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms are pretty clean. I stayed in the lake view deluxe room which had a very decent view of the lake. . The bathrooms especially the bathtub I think needs to be re-thought because if you are standing in the shower it is quite difficult since there are a lot of ups and downs in the bathtub. . The restaurant with chef Anver Zaki and boys Akshay and Anish, delivered a fantastic experience in the restaurant. . . Overall I would recommend taking a state package with at least two meals. There is not quite decent hotels or restaurants within the 2 to 3 km radius. Z . Overall it’s a very pleasant experience.

I stayed one night with my family here. Cons.. 1) No hot water was available. Me and kids had to take cold water bath. 2) Jacuzzi outlets were rusty, and was of no use as hot water was not available. 3) Breakfast was not boffae but was on order. No continental items were available for breakfast. 4) Very limited items available for in room dining. Pros.. 1) Swimming pool was great. 2) Good and co-operative staff. 3) Rooms were clean and tidy. 4) Very nice garden, good for pictures and enjoying with family. Overall my experience was good but I would have given a better rating if hit water was available and jacuzzi was well maintained.

Nice property. Ambiance like an Arabic hotel. Food is average. Rooms are neat. Air condition was not working all the time. Night they provide us a fan.

You can enjoy Scenic view from your bed if you choose lake side suit. Bathroom is small compared to other 5 star hotels. Food taste is different. You can't go inside lake and there is no sports activity in lake which is disappointing. Popular tourist places are not nearby expect one. Check in and checkout was smooth. Staff is good. You will found it as quiet place but during some party, function at hotel, you will get distrub. Their is playground for kids upto 12 years. Adults can time pass at activity center and play snooker, chess, carom. There is swimming pool for both adult and kids which is well maintained.

No hot water in a star category hotel! The front desk manager said there is issue with the heater. Breakfast which was included in the tarrif Was not available. The Restraunt manager said we have issue in kitchen. What you expect when you booked in a start category hotel and her this nonsense. However, the staffs were friendly and can’t blame about the room.

Average hotel with far remote location from Trivadrum city. None of the food shops nearby hotel. Most or the leisure activities listed to be available were not available once we reached hotel. Booked lake view delight room and Jacuzzi on bathroom had rusted water outlets. Health and fitness room had many non functional equipments. Breakfast taste was good. Nice swimming pool.

This is hands down one of the best properties i have been to. Really courteous staff and the ambience is mind blowing. There is a private lake at the back and they also offer kayaking and boating. The view is really beautiful and it is a well maintained property, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Not very commercialised and hence retains the peacefulness.

The lobby had a feeling of an upscale but cozy countryside home, with sofas, armchairs, gold colour floral designs on the walls and a large chandelier right in the middle giving soft warm light, We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel - the room were furnished and looked very neat and clean. The hotel is quite unique in the way that it is set up. Wide view with pleasant lake ambiance from roof top. The dinner here was delicious. courteous staff , that we will get to know from our checkin itself.

A good spot to have team meet-ups or to celebrate any small occasions. The pool and the lawn are well maintained. Have the beautiful view of kadinamkulam lake. The rooms and dining area were pretty neat. The food served was also good. Had a buffet lunch and felt that the way they handle their dining was very professional. Also have a small kids corner outside, with rides. The cons I felt were: the AC in the recreation room was bad and also the water used for washing hands or mouth didn't felt right. Hope this is resolved at the earliest. The other pros are: you get to do kayaking, fishing, play badminton, and also cricket, if you have the gears. In short, a resort of small size with good ambience.

Nice resort. Must visit. The ambiance is great. I stayed for a marriage party and it was good. Food was great and the stay facility was good. The staff would be helpful in your personal needs like booking of cabs to Tvm city. The main problem one will face here is for booking cabs as the place is outside city limits and cab operators don’t operate.

Views are good. It's outskirts so yah transportation is an issue. They didn't maintain the garden well I mean the seats are rusted and broken too. The service is good. The lounge area is well maintained.
