They provide quality care and service to their patients.. Over all staffs impressed me a lot.. I congratulates all the staffs especially the cleaning staffs for keeping the hospital very neat and clean.. One of the another impression is their parking area.. they had a well arranged parking area.. but it's too dusty. It may be due to the current whether situations.. cafeteria and canteen services are really good and well seating arrangements.

One of the best hospitals in Kottayam,Pala region Well maintained and very Clean Have a huge area for parking but its dusty and not floored (some places) , but the security and parking services are great . Tge security team does a great job arranging a and helping the people There is not a lot of crowd and rush all are managed properly Token calls and all are well organised The pharmacy too have token call system , which is great cuz it reduces the rush... There are also some shops and cafeteria inside the hospital The cleanliness of the washrooms are good unlike some other hospitals. The staffs are friendly and helpful.... ⭐⭐⭐⭐

After a lot of research I found Dr. Ashish Sasidharan, Plastic surgeon from Mar Sleeva who happens to be as well one of the best in Kerala in cosmetic surgery. He was specifically referred by my husband who is a doctor as well. After consulting many doctors in big hospitals in Kochi, I consulted Dr. Ashish in Cochin and he suggested me to do my procedure that I was wanting since long from Mar Sleeva. I was bit apprehensive to travel to Kottayam and as I never visited this hospital, I was not sure if I should. Finally I decided to go ahead with my procedure under Dr. Ashish and visited first for my pre surgery tests and formalities. I was surpised to see such a big hospital and so well placed. Good parking, so well managed. From the moment when I entered I was assisted by the staff and other helpers with my tests and consultations. It took me just 2hrs to complete all formalities. I went back after 3 days for my surgery and Got admitted same day of my surgery. My admission was very quick rooms are very well maintained, cleaned and spacious. The entire staff of sisters are very capable and apart from the the doctors, capable nurses do make a difference to a patient. I was put into ICU after my surgery and I was so impressed specially by sisters on duty in ICU. They took care of me so well that my initial painful time in ICU was very smooth. I specially want to call out Sister Chinchu and Sister Sissy for all their support and care. I was admitted for 2 days and was very comfortable. Food Served is really of good quality. The entire staff including the doctors are very capable. Very humble and qualified. Why I chose this hospital is also because it was very cost effective. I would have spent almost double the amount if I had done this surgery in any big hospital like Mar Sleeva in Cochin. I am a non-mallu but everyone was accomodating with the communication as well and made sure I feel comfortable. I would surely recommend this hospital to everyone and specially Dr. Ashish.

I was in discussion with the hospital for shifting my father from another hospital to this. I had discussed his condition with concerned doctor and room was ready in two days . Based on the availability of room I had coordinated for ambulance. There started the pain. The person who was coordinator for ambulance in medicity called me and collected details and told that within half an hour ambulance will be ready After half an hour when I called up he told that he has to get a final confirmation from concerned doctor and will call back. After one hour also I didn't get any update and agin I called up ambulance coordinator. The coordinator told that he just diacussed with doctor and everything is fine and will start ambulance shortly and told that he will call me back once ambulance starts . Hearing that I asked current hospital for discharge. I waited for 1.5 hours and started calling the coordinator. I called up two times but he did not pick up call. When I called third time , he told he is in a meeting and will call back in 5 minutes. After waiting for another half an hour I called back again and the reply was " I was in management meeting , shifting will not happen ". I was totally confused what went wrong in between. What he told is it's a management decisions that don't want to admit referral patient due to covid situation. I told him that patient is covid negative and we are okay to undergo covid test again but he was telling it's a management decision nothing can be done. By that time our discharge process in the current hospital was done and the people who have to accompany the patient in ambulance also reached . We all wasted a day because of this .After this drama from medicity , we discussed and current hospital luckily accommodated us back .please note the condition of the patient need hospitalisation and no way he can be at home. My concern here is after communicating the condition of a patient , and wasting almost a day why this happened ? Is this action from management justified? Why they are not okay to admit patient after covid test if covid is the issue ? Why the policies are not formulated and communicated up front ? Why didn't I get a reply that shifting is not possible when I enquired itself ? After all what is the purpose of a hospital when a critical patient who is tested covid negative is not treated there ? Is it aligned with government policies ? I feel so bad thinking it is a hospital owned by pala diocese and the patient also belongs to the same place and was an active contributor to his parish while he was up and running. Problem.is not that they didn't admit us rather problem is why was the whole process not straight ??? I highly appreciate reply / clarity from management on this incident.

I wouldn't suggest this hospital to my friends or family. The advertisement is that this is the best hospital in kottayam, nothing can be more distant from the truth. The time management here is pathetic. You have to wait for hours straight even for the most simple service. Both the casualty and op services are extremely slow and unorganised. THE DELAY IS UNBEARABLE. Its a hospital and there are people in critical conditions who need timely services. I dont think the management is aware of this. I had to wait for 6 hours straight just to spend less than 5 minutes with the doctor. Doctor was decent though. The ambience and and atmosphere is good . Youll be too busy witb handling the mismanagement to notice the ambience. They are nothing but a group of expert "SHOW OFFS". I think they have caught some attention by offering cheap services. Now they have got some business, but are not able to handle it. They dont have enough staff and the existing staff are not able to handle the situation. And there is one more thing i forgot to mention, the covid protocols are pathetic in this hospital. There are no sanitizers in sight. They allow a hoard of bystanders as well. If there is any option, dont choose this hospital.

Well maintained and clean hospital. They provide quality care and service to their patients. Staffs are good and friendly. The hospital has adequate parking space for over 100 vehicles at a time. The parking area is well maintained. The food in Canteen could have been better though the prices are good.

Emergency waiting.... Brought my grandmother here at 9 pm. She was taken inside and I was asked to wait outside. It's past 12 am now. Still waiting. Don't know if she's sitting in a wheelchair or sleeping on a bed. All bystanders are kept outside the hospital in the ambulance bay... Even with corona this is not okay. Atleast inform us what's going on... If necessary admit the patient and ask the bystanders to stay (one person) and the other(s) to come back in the morning

Amazing hospital and service! Dad came here for an arthroscopic surgery for his shoulder under Dr. OT George. Stayed over for 2 days. And I must say that both dad and mom (who was bystander) was super impressed with the hospital… more than anything with the overall staff and service. The physiotherapists were great too. Even the canteen has really good food and economical. Overall, super happy with everything we’ve encountered so far. I’ve been to numerous hospitals with my parents during the last 2 years I was in Kerala and this is by far the best hospital I’ve been to. I only have one important feedback… please think about at least levelling the visitor parking area. Right now the whole visitor parking area is so stony and bumpy and could be a hazard for cars and even people (I can imagine people easily twisting their ankle as they walk to their car). But, Keep up the amazing work and continue to focus on the β€˜service with a smile’ attitude. Really makes a HUGE difference to all the patients who comes here. God bless.

My wife and me had an executive check up at this multi speciality hospital located in Cherpunkal very near to the Cherpunkal church. The service is excellent a number of packages are available which are all very clearly explained in the website. I could do the booking online for my preferred date and the hospital called me over the phone to confirm our appointment. The executive check up has a dedicated room next to the pharmacy where you could wait. The blood and urine samples are collected in the same room. The bathrooms were clean and dry although the lady's wash rooms were not so and wet. The staff is very welcoming and extremely kind and helpful. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop besides a gift shop. The restaurant serves tasty meals at reasonable prices, the best I have had in an hospital eating place. The general practitioner who did the final consultation was very kind and interpreted the test results very clearly and lucidly. The hospital is very clearly signposted and is kept very clean. The only three suggestions that I would make are: 1. The wait time at the pharmacy could be reduced: 2. The parking area needs some attention. 3. The hospital must accept UPI payments although right now card payments are possible.

I am super excited today visiting here for a checkup. Just 50 rs for registration and another 50 for consultation. "What?? Are you kidding???". Highly satisfied with the hospitality, care and checkup. All staffs right from registration counter to doctors, cleaning staffs to cafeteria staffs, all treat you as a king. Neat and clean, hygienic, superb. Thank you to the administration Team.

I got treated for severe back pain at mar Sleeva in the month of Jun . Dr Vishnu treated me and he is a true angle , and his knowledge has no boundaries, true master and what he does . The doctors and the staff were really amazing . The daily massage treatment staff Saiju Lijo Jibin and Jinu … these guys are true saviours they took very good care of me . The maintenance staff and house keeping were also doing a commendable job . My treatment was initially discussed for 10 days however it got extended to 18 days due to the severity of my condition . Before coming to the hospital I was unable to stand walk sit or even lie down . The ayurvedic and naturopathic treatment I got cured my problem and I left the hospital able to walk stand sit and lie down . There was still some more recovery to be done but the doctor told me it can be done by taking complete bed rest at home . Which I did and am still recovering . I Am a lot bette than what I was a month ago . And I believe I will get back in shape now . I want to draw attention to post treatment documentation , it was a major issue . The staff at PRO team delayed a lot of paper work . There were some documents required by my insurance company for registering a claim . The PRO team took a long time to get it sent . Post getting the documents one of the document that was not matching my insurance company requirements , ie β€œa letter from the treating doctor stating reason for prolong treatment β€œ and I was ask by my insurance company to get it from the hospital . I sent an email request on 18th jul and it’s now 20 July the request has not even been sent to the doctor from the PRO team . When I call I keep getting one reply they will send it tomorrow . And next day it’s a different person who answer and they give same response . I expected a more professional approach to My query . I will be really glad if anyone from the hospital can take this up on priority . I have updated my review to the most satisfied as the PRO team actually reviewed my issue and ensured all my requests were fulfilled. Thank you Maraleeva team .

I was very much satisfied with the treatment I received from Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai. The room was perfect. Nurses were attentive and well mannered. One of my attendants was a 3 months pregnant nurse working the night shift. I can only hope they are well compensated for their efforts. Also, had a chance to interact with nursing students which is a good initiative from Mar Sleeva Medicity. Even though I could access my medical reports on the handy mobile application, I would like to say that the UI of the mobile app could improve a lot. I also found the website (Not very mobile friendly) way below the standards of the hospital. I would suggest to spend some resources on this and use visually pleasing colours on your website and application. I am qualified to say this so take my word for it.

Great infrastructure with poor management.. Booked online and arrived on the allotted time, Doctor is on leave!!! To see the other doctor they gave us a later time and doctor came after 2 hours of allotted time.. So much investment and there is no proper time allocation system in place for the patients to see a doctor.. Again only 4 counter for pharmacy billing for the whole hospital out of which only two counter is open.. Atleast 50 people were waiting to buy the medicine.. It took one hour to get the medicine.. Planning to visit here, be ready to waste a whole day!

Wonderful Hospital. They have all the facilities needed. Not to mention the fees (rates) were optimum for the services they provide and not sky high. While I was there, I never faced any difficulties as the nurses or staff were always vigilant and will respond quickly, if I press the help button in my bed. Also they have 24x7 Canteen, meaning i can go and grab cutlets or meat rolls at the middle of the night, if I need it. MOST USEFUL : They have a mini hyper market inside the hospital, so I can stock up on essentials, when i need them.

Professionalism at its best. World-class art of treatment and hospitality. Could see a competition between all the departments in providing the best service. Would like to highlight some points here, We would like to share our gratitude with Dr Sabitha Augustine, Dr Ananya, Dr Anil Narayan and Dr Shalu for their exemplary care and gestures. We would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff in the labour room and NICU for their highly professional care and manly behaviour. Your words and kind gestures were a blessing for us during our difficult times. Expressing our sincere gratitude to all the nursing staff and support staff of the gynaecology room's nurses station for always being with us when we needed it. Thanks for being kind and polite. Can't name one because all the nursing staff were kind and professional. Nursing students of Mar Sleeva nursing college were very helpful and supportive. Room and toilets were cleaned and waste from bins was removed timely. Thanks to the housekeeping team for keeping the hospital and our rooms clean and safe. The food provided by the canteen was really tasty and safe to eat. Thanks for providing extra care in all the dishes served. Food was delivered room in time with great care. Finally, the extremely professional services provided by the security staff were appreciable. First time in my life, met very patient and kind security officers on hospital premises. Would like to thank the hospital management for bringing all the best people to one place. A special mention to Gireesh(Security team), Riyamol James(Mar sleeva cart) and Maria (Food& Beverages room services) for their exemplary professional services. These people went a level high in providing their professional services with great care and kindness.

I had a v bad experience. If you people have enough waiting time then you can go to this hospital. To see a skin dr with appointment I have waited 2.5 hrs , when I check with staff they don’t where dr went off...After 2.5 hrs the dr came .After that to get a medicine from pharmacy need to wait 1 to 1.5 hrs . My whole day went off. Irresponsible drs and staff I will say . Not all organised, this is not the expected behiavour from a militia speciality hospital .

Very poor time management.I went there with my Mom. No one following token.Don't know why staff using mobile every time.Compare to other hospital consultant chages was very less.that is Only one advantage I saw here.Last year I went Rajagiri Cochin with my Dad. 1 week he admited there, not a single day I took leave. But in ths hopital I come for consulting, they spolied my one day. If you have enough time then no issue. If you have tight schedule look other option.I Have one request to Hospital Magement plese stop token system.its make patients fool again and again!!

I recently visited the hospital and overall, I found the cleanliness and neatness of the hospital to be impressive. The staff seemed to be doing a great job of maintaining a clean environment, which is always a plus when it comes to healthcare. However, I must say that I was quite disappointed with the delays I experienced during my visit. The procedures seemed to take much longer than necessary, and there were long waits to see the doctor. This was frustrating, . The parking was also good

Highly inefficient in terms of time management. You'll have to wait for ages both at op and casuality. On the positive side , the atmosphere and the ambience is good. But all these positive sides are eclipsed by the gargantuan delay. Dont opt for this if u plan to get home the same day after a consultation.

They attended the kids, making them active in each and every task given to them... Hats off to them for their patience in dealing with the kids with smiling faces. Thanks to Madam and team and request you to continue this endeavour enabling more needy children to get a fruitful result. ❀️❀️

Extremely disappointed with the service! Long waiting hours, doctors unavailable even after prebooking, unorganised and poorly managed! Prebooked and took appointment well before. Reached the hospital on time as per booking. After hours of waiting, realised that doctor was not available in the OP. Worst part is even the management or nursing staff dont know when the doctor is expected to be back. Had to wait for so long. Even requested to give appointment for other doctor with same specialization, but that request was denied saying no other doctors are available at the moment. Had to leave the hospital after many hours of waiting without gettting consultatio. It is really sad that patients who are weak and ill have to wait for such long hours without having proper food and has to return without getting treatment. This was my first experience here and I will not recommend anyone to visit this hospial. No comments on the treatment or skill of doctors here as we never got a chance to get the treatment!

I had a wonderful experience at this hospital. The level of service provided was truly exceptional, and the hospital itself was impeccably maintained. The rooms were in pristine condition, and the cleanliness of the toilets was consistently upheld through frequent cleaning, giving them a fresh and new appearance. In addition to the remarkable upkeep, the room service and nursing staff surpassed all expectations. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and care were truly outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend this hospital for its excellent service, well-maintained facilities, and dedicated staff.

One of the worst hospital in Kottayam , the Emergency department people does not even understand the meaning of Emergency . WORST experience in life never ever gonna visit again . My small boy was taken to Pediatric OPD for consultation following a possible Bat Bite the staff in OPD says to take the child to Emergency room as there is a pediatrician on call who will see the child in ER as the OPD doctor is in a meeting . Upon reaching Emergency department none of the senior doctors ( Emergency Doctors ) want to attend the child after asking repeatedly one person claims to be a doctor asks the Family members do you know what is triaging and doesn't even know that rabbies vaccines needs to be administered with in 24 hours of exposure . He says that its not necessary to give vaccine within 24 hours it cab be given later as well . H No one knew the dosage for a 3 year old child and had to consult the pediatrician even after that the pediatrician never came down to see the child . Waited for 1 to 2 hours before the child received the vaccine . The doctors in Emergency doesn't even know how to talk to people i wonder how do they do the treatment . if it was a common man who doesn't have any clue about medical things they wouldn't have treated the patient . This hospital is still in its baby stage ( operating since less than a year or so ) already behaving badly to the patients and still claiming to be the best in district ( advertised so in google ) So anyone who has got any sort of emergency do not choose this hospital . THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THE PATIENT .

Hospital wise environment is good and appreciated it. . But the process of consultation has to be improved.. As experienced, the consultation was fine, but reviewing the result to the same Dr after having taken the test takes so much time and no slot available for ex-patients on the same day or next day.. Had to wonder about this result and had to consult another Dr to know the result, which is ridiculous... Thanks, won't be coming back for consultation, waste of time and no result...

The hospital's health checkup package provided a thorough assessment of my overall well-being. The staffs exhibited exceptional professionalism, guiding me throughout the process and addressing all my concerns with utmost care. The facility was equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and timely results. The entire checkup was conducted efficiently, with minimal waiting time. Done full body executive health checkup for parents(costs around 5000 per head for the specific package). The process was smooth and had a seemless experience. The executive health checkup team is really good at their service. Now, regarding the Hospital, it is neat and clean, including rest rooms. Doctors, from whatever we experienced was nice and happy to explain the diagnosis. Labs are good, but mostly you need to wait due to crowd. Parking facility is there, but it should be improved. Medicines from the pharmacy were expensive. Overall it was a nice experience.

I recently visited the hospital and was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the front desk staffs especially miss Anjana. From the moment I stepped through the door, they greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel instantly welcome. I also appreciated the efficiency of the front desk staff. They efficiently managed the registration process, minimizing waiting times and ensuring a smooth flow of patients. Overall, the front desk staffs at this hospital sets a high standard for customer service and made my experience as a patient a positive one.

Arrived at Mar Sleeva Hospital Casualty a few weeks ago...with my uncle who was in lots of pain.We were immensely worried about the health condition of our Uncle. Once we reached the Casualty he was immediately taken inside the hospital,we almost waited 10mis out side the casualty and after that the doctor along with a staff called us to the cabin and explained in detail about the health condition and also about the investigations and treatment plan. The incharge doctor took good care and he was symptom free within half an hour, he also explained the medicine course properly. Its good structured Casualty with all modern facilities and trained doctors and setted up in a world class way.We than the entire Casualty team for the quick response, proper communication and for the excellent treatment given. Thankyou

PROS This hospital maintaining paper less system. Everything by network. So we don't need to carry lab reports, x-ray films, old file etc.. Doctors and nurses are good at treating.. We can clarify all doubts with doctors. They explain very clearly about disease condition and treatment esp. pediatric surgeon Dr. Cherian Jerin Oommen OPD charge also very less when compared with other hospitals.. CONS But the charges for lab investigation and radiological procedures are very high .for example urine culture rs. 350. Whereas outside the same urine culture cost only 250. The other negative feedback is waiting in the pharmacy. There is also token system. Initially I thought it is good bcoz there are many counter for billing and my turn came quickly and I paid it fastly. Then after I had waited there for 1 hour 20 minutes to get a single medicine ( Injectn.TT). Very bad experience.. Less counters for dispensing medicines and I think shortage of staffs..

Very bad experience as a first time visitor to this hospital. I will not recommend anyone to visit here.. They keep even pre booked patients wait for 4 to 5 hours to consult the doctor. One should have utmost patience to be here to consult any of the doctor.

I had a very bad experience, we took our grandmother to the hospital in car due a small case of cold and after one week we had to take her to another hospital in an ambulance with oxygen. And the rate they charged was too high for the average class of population. For 1 week they charged nearly 1.5 lack rupees.

"A multi super speciality hospital under Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, Cherpunkal. It started during October 2019. The behavior of staff from security level to managerial level are cordial and polite. In case of any emergency, their crisis management is unique and they take the relatives/bystanders into confidence and execute the procedure without any time lag." What is given above was my view before two weeks when my brother was undergoing treatment for vomiting blood and melena due to ruptured blood vessels near to liver and duodenum. They did a procedure called radiological Embolisation and closed the main vessel supplies blood to the spot and another one to rule out any possible oozing. Since the doctors were in double stand we shifted the patient to a hospital in Ernakulam and undergone a complicated surgery. Now he is showing positive signs of survival. If we were able to bring my brother directly to the present hospital the total Embolisation procedure could have been avoided. For such cases the hospital is not equipped with sufficient staff and amenities and they are not prepared for it.
