Sea facing rooms have very scenic view. Swimming pool was clean though the water was salty. Rooms were clean except the restroom. Restroom cleanliness should be improved. Staff were helpful. Food was good.

Excellent location. Right on the beach. It's not crowded like some of the other establishments on Hawa beach. The rooms are delapidated, and are not being maintained. The service itself & staff are very good. The food is very mediocre, but there's a ton of options nearby.

We stayed on ground floor. The rooms were old and not that clean as expected. A good point about this hotel is the beach can be used like a private beach "partally" they have a small pool. Break fast have limited menu. Staffs are very cooperating and nice. Especially their manager. Heard from the staff that they started renovating the rooms upstairs.

It’s at brilliant location, can sit all day long near the pool watching the sea and enjoying your drink. Not very elaborate menu , but they prepare the limited items well. Could be little better on spread. Nothing great on breakfast buffet, limited items cooked well. Surprisingly no cut fruits in breakfast menu. The location is highlight and helpful to directly access beach and then return. Staff is very polite and they have in-house Ayurvedic massages as well. Rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean , but feel a bit old .

Nice place to stay if you want to look at the beach. Really amazing sea view rooms you can easily access the beach from this hotel. Probably its like a private beach stay but common people also visits the beach. But they have some cons * The breakfast is free but its very limited. They serve only idly, and poori and boiled egg. More over the poori is not available when we visited. * Due to power fluctuations A/C is not worked at night when we called the room service no one picked up. Morning we have complained about this but they simply said due to covid we are running with less staffs. * The food in restaurant is costly and less varieties only available Pros * The rooms are super good and spacious * Staffs are very friendly * you can view the early morning sunrise and walk on beach ⛱

Possibly one of the best places to stay if you want a seafacing room. The room was big and clean for it's cheap price. Bathrooms were well kept too. They even have a parking. The breakfast was okay and the pool didn't look that great but overall good

Rooms could have been a bit cleaner. Breakfast wasn't that good. The pool is closed from 6pm to 9pm. Not a good look. Everything closes all 11pm, and you're told by the police to go back to your room. Beach is closed at sunset, which is about 6pm.

Just don't book their executive suite. Property is decent with direct access to beach, deluxe/executive rooms have unobstructed view of beach. However, the executive room has a shared door with neighbour room to allow families to stay together. That means you listen to every conversation, every noise from there and vice versa. Important to mention that executive room is their most expensive room and you get this treatment. The property shouldn't allow the other room to be booked at all when executive room is occupied. Other than that, property needs urgent repair and maintenance. Washroom fixtures are on verge of breaking, balcony door has rusted out restricting it's movement, AC is slow to cool the room, room smart cards have been replaced by normal keys. Tried dinner there which was decent, food could have been prepared faster and waiters should be attentive to guests rather than being busy with their work.

A good place on the beach with small swimming pool. Very tasty food. The resturant provided to our group was very hot. One or two fans could be a great relief

Only plus point is location,nothing else is good. Dirty rooms and bathroom,dust everywhere. Washroom wall are so dirty and even the buckets. Pathetic and costly food. Restaurant staff is very rude and uncordial He keeps a check on what an how much u have and hides the fruits and bread which come from kitchen in a cabinet and serves them only after asking twice or thrice with an unpleasant face.He also minds taking another plate ,he keeps cleaning the table covers which have been not washed since ages with his hands and with hand he touches the food. Ice buckets are as if they have been buried since ages and now for you only they have taken it out. Cleaning staff doesn't work properly. Don't go to this place . Our stay of two days was horrible.

What a hotel location! Sea facing rooms r just Beauty of this hotel. Rooms with spacious balconies. Food is costly than other restaurants in this area. So stay here n have lunch n dinner on Light house beach. Enjoyed the stay here very much.

Good location. Poor Hospitality, poor service and very bad food. Salt water pool. Repeated power supply failure. Few bulbs blow out due to sudden voltage surge, which was a nightmare. Won't allow to take food out of the dinning hall. They didn't allow females to sit near pool side. They were arrogantly asked to leave. Bitter experiance. Excellent location, if the service improve it is an excellent property.

Spacious rooms but AC not working properly. Great location, nice view nice staffs. Time of check in they provide one room in the room AC was not works then they provide another room in the new room early morning around 3am AC stops working. We can't sleep after that in this summer. We have booked for 2 rooms for 3nights but we have check out in one night.

We found sea face to be a very good hotel with comfortable rooms in an outstanding location. Breakfast was also nice and healthy. All linen and towel was changed daily. It was ideally placed near the beach and the walkway to local bars and cafes.

Amazing experience !! Location of hotel is best it feels like you are at the beach only . Neat and clean rooms with courteous staffs. Don’t forget to take shower near swimming pool i enjoyed a lot there.

Probably the best located hotel in Kovalam at budget prices. Room size & washroom size very decent - requires a bit upgrade in its interiors. View from Rooms absolutely superb. The hotel restaurant also very ideally located but food quality is no wow - surely management must look into this. The hotel managers very helpful and efficient.

Hotel Sea Face as the name goes overlooks the Kovalam Beach. Good aspects - Property is beautifully located on the shores of Kovalam beach. Pool is well maintained with adjoining dining area which is also provides a beach/sunset view in evening. This is one of the few hotels to provide Balcony with Beach View directly facing the Sea. Jading aspects - Not all rooms are renovated hence some facilities lack especially on the lower floors, however the staff are very helpful and address any issues with quickhand. Secondly, the hotel is located right in front of fishing area of the beach and hence you may smell fish when you are on the outdoors at certain times (if this is a concern). Rooms are tidy and clean and won't smell. Overall - Pleasant stay, tidy rooms, helpful staff, good and positive vibes!!

It is an old hotel located in the prime area of Kovalam beach. The hotel is well maintained. Rooms are clean and it's just next to the beach facing the sea. The only issue we faced was with the bathroom shower. It is old and has not been serviced probably as the water drips slowly. It's so difficult to take a shower. Else than that, our stay was good. The breakfast food quality was also very good.

We stayed in this hotel with family. Hotel is right on the beach. Sea facing rooms have great views. Surrounding area is vibrant during evening. Hotel is kids friendly. They provided extra mattress on request promptly. Cons: Bathrooms were not good. Taps and showers were coming out of wall. Breakfast was tasty but limited. If you don't go early, you won't get many items. Overall, considering the location, friendly staff and general cleanliness, the hotel is a recommended one.

Had good relaxing time in this hotel. Their location is best if you compare with other hotels nearby. Rooms- clean and comfortable. Newly renovated rooms. Location and view- best in class with sea view. Food- Dinner preparation is fast. Mix veg curry was really good. Rates may look high, but quantity will compensate that. Breakfast can be improved though. Limited options available. Staff- Courteous and helpful. Wifi- speed at lower side. But phone network is good in here, so not really required. Overall happy with the stay and definitely will visit again.

Items provided for the break fast was very meagre.. Manu for the lunch was also not adequate.. bed coffee or tea not provided on call.. is to be made in coffee maker provided in the room..

To start with no hot water, no hangers in washroom, no wifi and to top all these their service is pathetic.... Swimming pool is first floor is not cleaned, food is outrageous expensive and any service tha you asked is charged at a premium and the service is below average..... We were planning to stay for few days but had to check out after one night.... Edit - room number 001 on the sea face property, guess it is a second propertu

I went to enquire for organising an Event. The event was for around 150 people. So the person on the front desk very casually, not dressed well, not well spoken, not a smile on his face given the line of his profession no courtesy whatsoever, comes to the the counter and asks what we were looking, on giving him the details, he started off with “you will not be able or afford the place” in the local dialect. So is this your sales team? You lost business. A really good one.
