Springs @Avenue Regent Hotel on MG Road has been our family’s restaurant of choice for many decades. We love the location and ambience. The Food is the best you can get in Kerala. The Buffet is so wonderful and the Chef is amongst the best. Mr. Anson Philip the Manager at the restaurant is such a warm and friendly Gentleman who makes your experience even better. Also Master Chef Joshua is the best in town. Must try their Tenderloin Steak Sizzler and Home Style Kerala Roast Beef. It’s the best.

A fantastic place, with beautiful interiors.You can savour Indian, Continental and Oriental specialties here. Since we went for dinner, couldn't explore the buffet options, but the food was delicious and tantalizing. Burnt garlic fried rice was my favourite of all, but the buffet is their highlight.

Located in Avenue Regent Hotel, their buffet is praiseworthy with a decent variety of dishes to suit Indian as well as Continental taste buds. The service and ambience are also quite good. An ideal place to have good food with family. I really love their buffet!

Nice place,very peaceful,been here for lunch,they have a buffet till 3pm,the food was a bit on the bland side,but the dessert were great ,the service was great,only minus point here is the bar menu,we asked for three of the items on the menu which were not available,and that's quite upsetting.

My go to place for buffet with family. The menu keeps improving each time I visit the place. Its very tasty and have a variety of items at the price range. The service is also great. There is table service for starters, rotis, ice creams, rice, noodle etc. Wide options of desserts too. Spacious and neat washroom. Adequate parking available. Valet parking available. Easily accessible too. Waiting to try the new menu.

Very Good Restaurant. Excellent food.

The food here is not good as it was used to be. I have had buffets and various dishes from their menu in the past. One of my favourite dish is medium rare Tenderloin Steak served with vegetables, mashed potatoes and pepper sauce. Yesterday I was served with an austere Steak dish. The Steak piece was trimmed down to bare minimum and I was like, “what happened to the quantity of meat did the beef prices rise”. But one thing I was sure about was that they changed their Chef. No one in their senses would serve such a pathetic dish to their customers. The meat was cooked medium rare and that was the only thing he did right. The pepper sauce was bland and had very less pepper. The vegetables were not cooked properly. Mashed potatoes were not salted properly. Even the dry bread served were not crispy. One of the most important thing when cooking is to make sure the dishes are prepared with the right amount of salt. When you don’t know how to salt your dish you better don’t cook. The most important thing for a steak dish is you need to season it up with salt and pepper even if you are not serving any sauce.

We went to Springs to enjoy a buffet dinner. The food was fine, but the options in non veg were limited. The dessert options are more compared to other restaurants serving buffet dinners. The hospitality was appreciable.

This restaurant called Springs restaurant here are many types of dishes available for vegetarian people as well as non vegetarian people. They have maintained very good facilities and are very neat and clean. This restaurant is located on Avenue Regent building on the first floor. There will be buffet system are there so you can choose as per your requirement. Overall very nice experience while taken lunch from here.

Twenty of us, from the 1979 batch of St. Mary's Anglo Indian girls high school, Fort Cochin had our meet after many years at the Avenue Regent hotel. A hall was arranged for us and connected to the main dining area of Springs. Mr. Jayachandran, the Manager in charge, looked into every minute detail as per our requirements. The ambience, the seating arrangement, and the food was awesome. Our choice of a venue was the best. Thanks so much Avenue Regent and the staff who cooperated so well. I would recommend this place to everyone.

It was an amazing lunch and dinner buffet...we loved both occasions. Live Music, perfect ambience, and tasty food... Loved it.

Very nice lunch buffet. But for the price they could have add some more dishes and get rid of some others which people are not at all eating. Very nice,clean and hygienic place. Staffs were really good. Dessert were really good.

This restaurant located 1st floor. I was staying another hotel, but I wanted to eat this hotel's buffet breakfast so I came here. I got very good breakfast and satisfied because I wanted to eat not India food in this morning. Of course they also has India food as well. Cost was 420 ruppy with tax.

The food was cold and no taste at all for pulao noodles and others. The live counter one was not upto the old standards and the fish was having smell. The desert side didn't have anything which had taste.never had a bad experience at Avenue regent buffet .price is almost 1000 and this is what we get.

Visited this place for lunch. Ordered chicken 65 & fish tikka for starters, both were very much average. Was disappointed with the non-veg taste here. The kerala mutton curry, pumpkin soup, fried rice & veg biryani were nice.

Centrally located with a view of MG Road. Sufficient parking. The lunch buffet is pretty good with a variety of cuisines. Currently priced at ₹1100. Definitely value for money. The table service is commendable. Must visit

We went to springs for our Anniversary dinner and had shortlisted this after lot of thought and checking the reviews. had heard great feedback about this place and hence shortlisted this. Unfortunately looks like even they have fallen pray to the hard times. the quality has gone down. we had the buffet. Starters and soup served on the table. chicken tikka was good. Paneer and mushroom i would pass. fish finger felt like the ones bought in stores and fried and served. Ambience: 4/5 nice place. spacious Food: starters 2 veg and 2 non veg chicken tikka was fine but rest could pass. soup was very nice. good assortment of salads and desserts. Main course the fried rice was ok. Mutton Rogan josh was very nice. Pork not to my liking and fish was kung pao i was expecting more of local. Chicken was made in white sauce pasta somehow did not go with the menu and felt it was more of a after thought. Service: was good and prompt (4/5) Overall: not up to my expectations that i had from this place. For people who want to try something more of a norther cuisine can go here but not authentic. My personal view.

Food is good but it's cold as it's left open. And chapathi and puttu and idli become dry . There are a wide range of varieties . Good complimentary breakfast package

This was a very delicious restaurant. My friends and I were going to go to Mezzo but realized they only had tapas. We came upstairs to this buffet and it was such a treat! I recommend the eggplant, bbq pork and the beef. But all the food was excellent and the service was impeccable!

We went there for the Onam Sadya lunch. The food was quite OK. However, the restaurant was full, and they were simply incapable of handling the crowd. My father asked for a beer, which was never served, and in the end he gave up and simply went on to eat his lunch. We never got our second servings of rice, which is a traditional part of the Sadya. We also waited for the rasam and moru, which never came. We decided in the end to just forego the remaining dishes and ended our meal. The Onam Sadya, a rather important meal for the Malayali, was ruined for our family. The power got cut off in the middle, and they did not have power backup. Something we expect in a 4 star restaurant, especially where they charge Rs. 750-800 for a vegetarian meal! On the whole, a rather disappointing experience.

Great place for business lunch buffet. The spread is good and decent, satisfying vegetarians over non veg. It’s welcoming to see extensive vegetarian spread. Good ambience and efficient service.

This is a perfect place for fine dining. Very attentive and enough varieties of menus. But don't expect a 5 star experience. You can quietly spend some quality time with your family or friends. There is enough space for parking and amidst the city. You will find a bar downstairs and a smoking zone in a clean and good ambience. I loved this place, but like I said don't expect a 5 star experience. Set your expectations clear and you will not be disappointed.

Right spot to go with family. Hospitality and service is just awesome. Food is yummy and delicious.
