My husband went to the diamond guys prior to our engagement for my ring and could not speak highly enough about Antony and Ivor. When it was time to get wedding rings he was adamant that they were the only people we needed to see. Although I am thorough with my research whenever making a purchase it was absolutely clear cut (pardon the pun) that the team at the diamond guys are the best in Melbourne. They guided me through the process, made my decision easy and were so accommodating to my schedule, not to mention the friendly conversation and laughs that were shared while my engagement ring was getting cleaned, just because I was there. I can't recommend Diamond Guys enough! Antony was extremely professional and helpful. When I contacted Antony regarding purchasing an engagement ring my knowledge was minimum at best. Antony was very informative and the whole process from start to finish was really enjoyable and he went above and beyond to help. Amazing experience with Ivor and Antony. The two shared a significant amount of patience in educating me throughout the process, with even more information than the 4Cs typically spoken of at other jewellers. After visiting numerous jewellers in Melbourne, their passion and experience becomes very clear as they walk you through their incredibly detailed and transparent screening process for selecting diamonds. I spent about 8 or so hours with them over several days, searching through endlessly to find the right diamond for my now fiance. They have incredibly sharp eyes and do not hesitate to discuss all aspects of the diamonds they put forward to you. I wasn't very sure what I was doing when I walked in to the Diamond Guys on the day I went in. I didn't know too much about rings or anything like that. Antony was brilliant from the very start and guided me to my choice according to my price range. The service was brilliant, my now fiancee loves her ring and can't stop looking at it. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Ivor is an incredible jeweller. My engagement ring was a custom piece based off my husbands design. At first sourcing purple precious stones was difficult but Ivor managed to find some while overseas at a jewellers convention. The sapphires and diamond are beautifully cut. They are so sparkly, the photos don't do them justice. I instantly fell in love with this ring so of course went back to him for my wedding band (pictured). My husbands ring (also pictured) also came from him. Before my wedding Ivor also mended some jewellery that has been in my family for over 60 years and did a beautiful job.

Incredibly happy with our wedding bands. They designed and created my ring from merging two different designs, it turned out absolutely stunning and fits my engagement ring perfectly.

Antony & Ivor we’re fantastic to deal with. We were so happy with my engagement ring that we purchased 3 years ago that it only felt right to go back and get our wedding bands from here too. I had the most exceptional experience dealing with Antony and the team at The Diamond Guys. I went in there with zero knowledge about engagement rings and diamonds, and Antony explained all the fundamentals in simple to understand terms and guided me throughout the ring selection process. Once I chose the ring design, the speed at which it was produced and ready for me to collect was incredible. It took less than 4 weeks for the whole process of me to walk in the door for the first time and pick up my ring, and this even crossed over the holiday period! After proposing and needing the ring to be resized slightly, I dropped it off with The Diamond Guys with the expectation it would take a week to come back, and it was ready the next day! The service is exceptional, pure and simple. At no point did Antony ever try and upsell and he was upfront and honest and very transparent about things. I'm not sure where to start, but i was recommended by a work colleague to visit these guys. Prior to our visit, me and my fiance had already seen and spoken to other jewellers. We thought we had seen amazing service until we met Ivor. Ivor took us through a consultation and explained everything from start to finish. I think it's safe to say, i know more about diamonds than most people now (evident when i started talking about it with peers). We decided we would go with them. Throughout our whole experience Ivor was honest, understanding and extremely helpful. Not to mention very patient with my incompetence to make it to appointed times. The diamond along with the ring came out beautifully and for what we paid, it was better than what we were being offered at other jewellers. Ivor was great. He was easy going, listened to what would work best for me and helped me along the way. Because we were using an existing stone, the team allowed me to borrow a ring for the proposal while the final one was made. It was super easy, super quick and my finance is so happy.
