BE AWARE for a maze of nightmares! deserves zero stars.. enter the Dark Ages with Beaumont Kew staff stereotypical treatment! Hygiene is significantly appalling it is soo horrible we had to leave once we were told long stays is ONLY basic cleaning once a week! Management told to throw our own garbage in the big dumpster and left with wet towels, no replenishing of toiletries. Ridiculous amount for (14 days @ $2,730) Incredibly backward disrespectful - not open minded staff- distorts vital information. Greedy management all about hitching the price up for the most vulnerable in society and NOT meeting the basic human rights of safety and no minimum standard of cleanliness. Evident that deep cleaning is non-existent. Aggressive long term tenant handled our laundry, escalated abuse and violence, chucking our laundry within the first 30 minutes of drying then tramping on our children's laundry and chucking it all over the laundry room. Failure of management to deescalate and paramount negligence to ball pass it over to be told call 000 by the management. Any one can face any trouble at this place and can't prove because cameras are there but management stated to police its not working! Just be bless to have an eyewitness, watch out for the staff that gossips and has the best interest in distorting info to police (Laundry done 3 pm afternoon not at 7am)! Why is this accepted as four star rank for a hotel, no idea how this got this trashy mess exist in Kew, is yet to be investigated on their dark age nightmarish treatment. Very poor management skills, the hotel management were not very accommodating to the luggage transported with the help of City life community care van to place at the reception. After more than an hour waiting at the reception with all our luggage we were first assigned to a much smaller studio with a strong odour of heavy smoking and a noisy duct ventilation system, video is available. We could not agree to jeopardise our family's health and safety. Authorities need a clear check of the health and safety. After voicing up the extreme unhygienic and unkept condition and placing the children's sleeping area next to the stove. We were then told all rooms are the same, just before we were ready to leave the hotel was quickly assigned to the neighboring next building. Management failed to direct me to zero policies, instead the manager told me to SMS her higher manager which we had done immediately to get an explanation. We tried to follow this up a number of times WITHOUT an honest response and left us in even in Darker times hence -Dark Age! Repeated loop of never getting accommodated hygienically and safely rather faced with discrimination, stigma and existing inequalities from our circumstance.

Firstly, I want to start by saying, "Well done to the person who took promotional pictures of this hotel for doing a great job at misleading people on how filthy this establishment is , I honestly feel bad for the next person who stays here , I won't say much but have a look at the pictures they will paint a story , then scroll through the rest of the reviews and see how it all builds from there . Staff was curtious and even refunded me promptly. There were no issues there how ever to the owners and operators of this hotel would spend a night in your own establishment with standards like these . Stained surfaces that appeared to be bodily related fluids , slept in blood stained sheets , bathroom fan not working , utensils not cleaned , door didn't properly lock ,foyer smelt like a tobacco auction floor .

Stayed here once before and it was ok so I booked one night again. Had a standard room and it was disgusting!! Lighter under the bed which made sense because the room clearly had been smoked in. Stains all over the floor and couch. Cigarette burns on the table and bedside table. Kettle was beyond disgusting, I went to Macca's for a tea instead of using it. I dropped my stuff there and had to go out. When I got back I saw how bad it was and the smell was gross. I rang and asked for a clean room and she rang back and said that I can pay extra for a better room. I said I don't want an upgrade, just a clean room. The manager I believe rang and I told him my issues. He asked if we had used the room because he didn't want to have to clean it again if we move. Told him I had sat on the bed and used the toilet. That room won't be cleaned for the next person. It was not even clean for me. Next room didn't have the cigarette burns or smell as bad but it was not great. Mouldy tiles in the bathroom, stained carpet and couch. I will never be going back!!

No lock on the window, deadlock did not work, cobwebs hanging from ceiling, stains on the bedding, human hair from the previous guest in the bathroom, loud noises all night from people yelling and banging on doors in the hallway. Someone down the hall also got broken into in the middle of the night, assaulted and robbed. We left at 3am as we felt very unsafe and were refused a refund. Would not recommend to anyone.

These people simply don't know what they're doing. I booked on Agoda but when I turned up they said there was not a room available. They blamed Agoda but I don't believe that, I think it's purely their own incompetence. As a result, fairly late at night, I had to make an urgent booking somewhere else. I must say also that just looking from the outside it didn't look up too much, certainly not the boutique hotel it represents itself to be. It's also on a busy and ugly major road.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We had random people walk into our room, locked out of room cause of the cards being faulty and had to sleep on the couch in the foyer. PLEASE look somewhere else. Toilet mouldy, shower gross. room was super untidy

Looks good from pictures, but you will find taps not working well, air con not working well, and even the bin has a broken lid. We got so cold at night and had to put on all our winter jackets to go to sleep.

What a filthy, disgusting ‘hotel’ this place was! If the stench of cigarettes throughout the rooms and lobby doesn’t tickle your fancy, you have the waft of mould to look forward to. I thought the holes in the wall were a nice touch, it’s a shame they decided to blue tac pieces of printer paper over them. The chewing gum holding the light up in the bathroom was a vibrant green, it’s unfortunate they didn’t have any more to hold the main light cover up near the shower. Exposed wires near water allowed for a fireworks show each morning.

DO NOT BOOK. The premises have a stale stench of cigarettes in both buildings and in rooms for a non smoker and for an asthmatic it is very unpleasant and difficult. Our room had a piece of paper bluetac'd to the wall which we thought was interesting, only to find a giant hole behind it in the wall. Another hole in the wall has been repaired with putty. We stayed 3 nights in total and on arriving had less than half a roll of toilet paper left from the guests before us and weren't provided any more through our stay. We booked 3 rooms, 1 of which was a family room for 2 adults and 3 children and were charged extra for sheets for fold out bed. The carpet lining the hall ways are mouldy and pulling up in areas. There are also questionable people who were staying and wandering around while we were there which made it feel unsafe. It didnt help that the windows did not lock on the ground floor either. DO NOT STAY HERE, if i could give 0 stars i would

With closing your eyes, book this hotel. It is amazing, modern rooms, free parking, comes with pots and pans,a fridge, microwave even a cable comes with the tv to watch your favourite channels, Trams are next to the hotel to take you to the city. lovely staff, don’t worry the rooms are clean and there is no bugs in the rooms, incase if you forget your keys in the room they will give you a passcode for the room and the sliding doors,

Room was not available at time of checkin at3:30pm. Not wheelchair friendly. Booked the family room which stated it was wheelchair accessible but when I checked in, it wasn’t. It was really disappointing. We were downgraded to a twin room, which is less than what we paid, no partial refund given. Room stank of smoke. They were missing utensils and a chair for the third person. The stovetop wasn’t working either and the wheelchair ramp to the downgraded room is unsafe to enter by wheelchair. The wheelchair user could have flipped over because the additional silver ramp at top of the incline isn’t positioned properly. I requested a refund for the downgraded room and lack of proper facilities and have yet to hear back from the manager. The staff were very hard to contact by phone.

Night manager gave my room key code to other guests so these two men walked into my room at 10pm while I was laying in bed. I called night manager and he fixed it but not not a good experience.!!

Where do I start? Toilet didn’t flush, Mouldy sheets, hair on floor & in bed. Smoke alarm missing & a massive hole in the roof. light switch faulty which gave you a shock. Dead rat at our window. With no care in the world from reception. Rang after hours emergency number with no answer. Even after showing them photos & video footage after they refused to look at the room with us didn’t care. Never stay here. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Even refused to provide us with a receipt. So a very dodgy business.

I stayed in a Beaumont Kew Apartment with my husband for our vacation and decided to extend our stay for another 4 days. Location was more than perfect, you can find whatever you need nearby. The Male receptionist has gone the extra mile to provide us some tourist information about public transport. And We locked ourselves out at 11:00 Pm, didn’t expect to get help. However, their staff was helpful as always, so I didn’t have to sleep on the street.

We have stayed at Kew apartments twice due to the great location. The Staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. The apartments are roomy, have cooking facilities, WIFI and Pay Tv. The rooms are slightly dated and do need a really good clean not just the basic clean. The price is good if your needing to be near the Hospital. They are convenient as they close to St Vincent Private Hospital, Eateries and restaurants. All are within walking distance from Kew apartments. All which is fantastic if you do not like to drive through the city and don't know your way around. I would have given 3.5 stars but cant do half... If the apartments were cleaner I definitely would have done 4 stars

Housekeeping/reception had considerable challenges on the day we tried to check in. The room we were given eventually had a window (on the ground floor) that could not be locked, the room smelled musky and the carpets had questionable stains. We ended up finding a new hotel for the night because we did not feel safe in the room and the smell was too overwhelming. Does not live up to pictures.

I was there to help my friend.( a single mum) . As pre confirmation, we supposed to sign in at 10am. We arrived at 10:45 am and a lady in the reception mentioned; “ sorry, room is not ready yet and you have to wait for one and a half hour, as cleaner just started” After almost one hour I went to the room to see if we can at least bring the suitcase in. I found that a lady in reception who is doing a management role, is the cleaner and she was the one was cleaning the room. Well, I found the answers why we have to wait for extra 90 minutes. After we got the room , I realized that one leg of the heavy glass dining table is wiggly and just attached to the top glass table with only sticky tape. I ran to the office to report the issue as it was a safety hazard. Of course she wasn’t there and as I was already late, decided to swap with the exactly same table in the other empty room. After a long time wasting, Finally I found her and I mentioned that I swapped the table as it is absolutely not safe to use it at all, specifically there is a kid in that room and anything on the heavy glass table can cause a big accident. She started yelling and screaming at me and keep saying that why did u change the table? Nothing was wrong with the table 😳 I would never ever go to these kind of places at all whom put peoples life in danger only for saving couple more $$$. Very disappointed

I was nervous staying here based on the other reviews but I think they are a bit harsh. This place is great value if you are on a tight budget. If you want a cheap hotel this place is great. It is clean, the bed is nice and the staff are helpful if required. Late check in available via code (just have to send a pic of your ID and make a down payment). No issues with noise or overly offensive odours. Curtains keep the room perfectly dark and air-conditioning works well. The room is huge and the bed is comfy. Shower and bathroom are practical. I gave it 5 stars because it is good for the money. Yes some things are a bit worn out but would I pay more for those things to be fixed? Well for me, no which is why I think they deserve this rating. Don't book the cheapest hotel in the area and expect it to be brand new. It was 150 a night over the weekend which was cheaper than any air BNB or similar hotels and it is fully serviced.

Only stay if you like bedbugs! I initially booked a non smoking room to arrive to a room that stunk of smoke with cigarette ash near the window. The attendant moved me to a new room. The bathroom was nice and clean however there was thick dust around the skirting boards and under the bed. I woke with welts all over my body as I had been attacked by bed bugs during my sleep. I'm off to the laundromat now itching and scratching to hot wash and dryer everything that came into that room with me. Stay at your own risk!

Was not easy to find as the sign was totally faded. Outside was very neglected and inside, entrance and hallways, was not very clean. Room was nice and clean but was lacking in access to power points. Couldn't have a nice relaxing shower, after travelling 7 hours, due to there being no shower door to stop the water from running onto the bathroom floor. Then when I went to check out the office was not open until 9.30am. What was worse was the bond that had to be paid, even though I had already paid for the room, would not be refunded for 4 days meant that I had to borrow money for fuel to be able to make it back home.

The promotional photos show a very different place to what you get. My family wouldn’t stay here again. Dirty, smelly & we couldn’t wait to leave, thank god we only booked for 1 night.

We had a very positive experience with our one night stay at the Beaumont. The staff were helpful and friendly and our room was spacious, clean and warm. There was no traffic noise and the windows had block out curtains which ensured an undisturbed sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was good quality. The bathroom was also clean and the towels were fluffy. Excellent value for money.

Wow so much for your money!! I don't understand any of the negative reviews. Fully secure hotel and room which meet all out expectations. I have paid much more for the same standard elsewhere. We had a very late checkin which was arranged via a key code and was hasslefree. Receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. Room was full equipped, clean tidy and very large. Bed was very comfy, plenty of clean towels, large wardrobe, full size fridge, iron and hairdryer too. Perfect location, just 50m to the city tram stop and plenty of local facilities too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling on a budget.
