What more can I say that hasn’t been said already about A1 Bakery? Simply delicious, fairly priced, big serving and quality ingredients; can’t ask for much more!

It was a cold day, and we were starving for breakfast. Around Fairfield there are lots of cafes but we wanted something different, so we picked the A1 at Fairfield, and it was good to see that they were packed with fresh food and obviously a long queue which was worth it for sure. The girl at the reception was very nice and showed us where to sit outside. It was a cold day, and there were pigeons flying everywhere, but when the food came, we were surprised with the quality and generous size for breakfast. It was simple but absolutely delicious. Well presented, warm and yummy. Definitely will try it again. Highly recommended for a Middle Eastern style breakfast πŸ‘Œ

This A1 bakery is very small, it was almost impossible to social distance. Food and coffee was nice. Staff was friendly. However, it’s more expensive than the O.G. one in Brunswick.

This is such a great little bakery. I’d say the kind that I would drive an extra suburb at least to get to. They have lots of ingredients for Mediterranean, middle eastern or just generally delicious cooking. The fold overs are less than $10 and they’re a steal - really nice, healthy lunch. The staff are always great - and there’s often a queue but it moves quickly. Strongly recommend.

What a beautiful place and people. This bakery shop is one of my favorite place in Melbourne. Not only staff are amazing, helpful and friendly, also foods (sandwiches) are the best sandwiches in Melbourne. I drive about 30 minutes to get there even there is another A1 Bakery closer to my place. I love their Falafel and kofta. Highly recommended Thanks 😊

Welcoming staff who treat their regular customers like family. Food looked delicious. However, due to my dietary requirements, there was a lot I couldn't eat. BUT the donuts 🍩 were heavenly. Highly recommend custard filled ones.

Food was good. Haloumi and mushroom triangular hit the spot. Coffee was nice too. Deducted a star as I felt like a substandard customer having to wait several minutes in line while the lady serving had a casual chat with her friends. There werr people behind me too. Zataars were alright. Good that there is seating outside to eat the food fresh.

The Best Bakery I have ever been to so far in Australia!!!! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ We had their famous custard don't, so rich and creamy! 🍩 Then we also had the Charcoal Chicken Wrap and the taste was just out of the world! And our Chai Latte was also perfect taste! β˜•οΈ The ambience is a vibe in itself also lovely and cosy, staff are so friendly and always there to help with a bright and smiling face!! We went at the right day today, which is their 10th anniversary and it was just awesome!! There was Belly Dancing, Drummers, DJ and lots of music!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’ƒπŸ‘―β€β™€οΈπŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈπŸ•ΊπŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ

My wife and I stumbled upon this bakery during our short honeymoon in Melbourne, and we were blown away by the amazing experience! The zaatar pie and haloumi pie were absolutely mouthwatering, and the Nutella bagel was the highlight of our visit. It was pure indulgence! 🀀 The employees were incredibly friendly and provided top-notch customer service. They made us feel welcome and took the time to ensure we had a memorable experience. We absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back on our next trip to Melbourne. If you're looking for a bakery with delicious treats and exceptional service, this is the place to be! Highly recommend! 🌟πŸ₯πŸ°

To staff : please please be careful when offering gluten free / vegan options . I initially ordered a gluten free pizza and made it clear to the lady taking my order I was also dairy free - she told me all the the pizza had on it was a Tomato base with chicken . My pizza came out with a whole heap of cheese over the top that I could tell was regular cheese . I went and told them I am also dairy free and they apologised and made me another one and advised I could keep the first one if my family wanted to eat it . I received the second one and was happy , it was delicious worth the wait . I had a piece leftover of the second one which I boxed with a few pieces of the first one and took home . Later that evening I ate my last piece of the second one and then took a closer look at the original one . I was shocked to see the bases were actually different ! I took some of the cheese off the original and took a bite and realised that was the gluten free base and the second replacement one I was given had vegan cheese and a regular base !! No wonder it tasted good ! If you are going to offer gluten free bases you need to be careful - you can make someone very sick . I am so strick with eating gluten free due to some medical issues and have not eaten gluten for a solid year only to find I have now eaten a full pizza !! This has completely put me off from ever eating here again . It’s not good enough to make these kind of errors .

We have been coming to A1 for years. Our favourite go to for coffee, spinach triangles, tabouli & dips. Sandra & the team provide the best customer service. We love A1. 😊😊

I got Nouha's catering for 60 people. The food was delicious, arrived on time and was delivered to my house. The spring lamb stuffed with rice was very tender and tasty. Thanks!

I’m in love…. was introduced to the delights of A1 bakery at a function. I drove 1/2 hour just to visit the store, the lovely lady on the register (& I believe chef of these exquisite delights) was so friendly and helpful. 100% love the Mushroom & halloumi triangle.

We've been faithful customers here for over 2 years, but after our unfortunate experience today we won't be back. I arrived at the start of my lunch break and ordered a latte and an almond flat white. After a lengthy wait, the drinks arrived but the order was incorrect. I waited patiently for the almond flat white to be re-made and even confirmed, 'Is this an almond flat white?' when it was brought out to me. I took the drink home to my wife, only to find out it was made with cow's milk. I took the drink, drove back to A1 and asked them to make it again as an ALMOND flat white. Again, I patiently waited. After an hour in total spent trying to get 2 cups of coffee, I took the drink back home, only to find it seems they've forgotten to add coffee! The replacement drink is a milky, watery mess. It shouldn't take 3 attempts to make an almond flat white, and it shouldn't waste an hour of my day. Definitely won't be back again after this unpleasant debacle. Pity, as it used to be so good.

Can't be beaten for the tastiest spinach and lemon triangles in the southern hemisphere. The busiest take away food spot in Fairfield for very good reasons. Highly recommended!

Quite happy with the attitude in this bakery. My order got messed up today, and they amended the situation in a satisfying way. Thanks for the good service.

My wife and I have loved coming here to get food since we moved to Fairfield. My parents from Adelaide have visited us twice and on both occasions walked to A1 bakery to get some lunch. Sadly, on both these occasions we have returned home to find an item missing from our order. It’s like they can’t handle an order that caters to more than 4 people. So disappointing and frustrating. And on two disappointing occasions now. Disappointed. The food we did get tasted great. But the taste of disappointment sours the experience

Nouha catered a birthday party I hosted, and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everyone raved about the food, and there was the perfect amount of food for the people we had. Nouha is great with dietaries and would highly recommend anyone catering a large party to go with A1 Fairfield!!!

Super delicious food and friendly staff who know how to manage a busy and successful business. We love the soft and tasty bread and all the lunch items. Do yourself a favour and duck down here for your breaky or lunch break.

Most of the food looks nice, I clearly made the wrong choice. Both pies and sausage rolls in my opinion are really bad. Weird spices in both the pie and sausage roll...maybe some people like that but i feel like most wouldn't. Coffee was pretty good.

What can I say about the A1 Bakery? Brilliant! I love this place and love the authentic sourdough breads. I don't know how the Bakers Delight down the road stays in business with this competition in town. Do yourself a favour and walk past the big chain and enjoy something fresh and well made from A1.
