Professional, friendly and kind. Clean and tidy, in fact, beautiful clinic to visit. Doesn’t feel like a doctor’s clinic, making the trip with kids less arduous. Our doctor was lovely and very helpful.

Very friendly clinic and have felt very comfortable taking my 2 kids here for treatment. Dr Attiya has always been very thorough and caring when treating the kids. It can be sometimes hard to get an appointment (but I assume this is because they don't double & triple book appointments like some other clinics i've attended), so wait times for the appointment are minimal, which is also very handy with kids.

I saw Dr Jeffrey last week as I was asked by my physio to get a referral for an X-ray on my knee. I don’t have a usual gp that I go to, so I chose to go to this new practice as it’s close to my home and saw that it had hundreds of great reviews. Now I don’t normally review my experiences but this one needed to be said. Jeffrey assessed my knee for himself and did his tests which was all a good experience up until, he made a comment more to himself, about why my physio would even recommend an X-ray in a very judgemental tone (didn’t explain why an X-ray would not be beneficial or what would be better suited and why). He then said he was referring me for a CT scan (again didn’t explain why this was a better option) and as someone who is only now starting to go to doctors appointments myself, I forgot to ask about price differences etc (totally on me but also why can’t a doctor explain their decision clearly with the patient in mind?). Then I went to book my ct scan at the place my physio recommended me to, turns out it was going to be $400 and $200 out of pocket. I was so angry because I clearly stated when I went to the gp what I needed - an X-ray- yet he decided to give me something else without even the decency to explain why and how that would impact me financially if I were to go with the CT. I then call up the next day to ask if I can get the X-ray referral and was told by receptionist “oh why didn’t you try this place? Its free” because the doctor didn’t recommend it to me and rushed me out of his office as quick as possible. This is why I hate going to any medical clinic because doctors only ever care about themselves and never want to take the 5 mins it would have taken to explain their decision and maybe recommend some options for the patient.

Dr Ammar is the best doctor I’ve seen so far. He is always professional and caring, and on time! I appreciate and am grateful for the care I received. Admin team was awesome too. Outstanding experience overall.

Dr Jeff is a fantastic doctor. He listens intently and asks all the right questions. He knows how to get all the information he needs from you to make an accurate diagnosis. He also explains how/why he has arrived at a diagnosis and what he's prescribing you will do and even the research to back it up. He is very personable, has fantastic bedside manner and is just a great guy. Easy going and great to chat with. I have already recommended him to my friends and had my partner sign on with him. Highly recommended. The reception staff are also lovely and the practice is clean and modern.

Watsonia Medical is a great facility for comprehensive medical management. Appointments can be easily made on line (easy to navigate) or via phone call. The staff are very responsive, knowledgable, helpful and always pleasant. The General Practitioner that I see has a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience; and takes a holistic approach to patient care and management. I am very pleased and trust that I will receive the best care at every visit.

I've lived in Australia for 11 years and seen many different doctors. Today was my first appointment with Jeffery. I have never had one permanent doctor as they never seem to care. Jeffery did and I will have him as my permanent doctor from now on. Great experience. Wonderful clinic and they seem to actually care for once!

Watsonia Medical Clinic has been great, the doctors there in particular Dr Ammar is great with young kids and genuinely cares about his patients. He is thorough and professional and is relatively quick to get an appointment with (unlike other GPs). The clinic itself is modern and clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Also, it’s handy that a nurse is onsite as well as a pathology clinic. So glad we made the swap to a new clinic and found a wonderful doctor.

Dr Amar Attiya is lovely, patient, caring and very attentive. I had a doctor before covid who I loved going to but unfortunately with covid she stopped practicing and I struggled for find someone else until I started seeing Dr Attiya.

Made an appointment with Dr Alina Yaremenko and as I was driving there I received a call from reception stating that Alina doesn't really want to see any new patients. I am not a new patient I have been her patient for years at the previous clinic she was working at and she knows me and my issues I have been experiencing very well yet chose last minute not to see me simply because she didn't feel like it as she hasn't seen me for a while when reception had already made my appointment. I thought very highly of her and respected her . Very heartless act for a doctor who I thought was very caring but she doesn't care about her loyal patients and their mental health its all an act . Oh and she calls everyone gorgeous and beautiful but it's all an act just about the money. Not attending this revolting clinic .

Clean, bright and efficient. This was not our normal clinic but we attended for our child's first COVID Vax (5-11yo). They were brilliant with the kids: on-time (even in the late afternoon) and fabulous staff. Very well set up the combat child-jab-anxiety! Couldn't suggest any improvements.

First time visiting today for my booster and I had the best experience. Staff were so polite, efficient and attentive. Facilities were also really nice and comfortable. The lollipops and complimentary beverages were also a massive win in my books!! (:

I decided to try this clinic out for my fourth covid booster a couple of weeks ago. No problem booking in, easy parking & the staff very friendly. One of the nurses who I think also assists at reception took me into one of the treatment rooms & I was very impressed with the room , not pokey like other doctors rooms, good equipment and nice and light. I asked a few questions which she answered thoroughly and gave me the vaccine. Absolutely no pain whatsoever probably the best of the four I have had. The nurse was quite happy to answer my questions in regards to the doctors who are at the practice and I was very happy with what she told me. So much so my hubby is going to be attending this week as he is looking for a new doctor, fingers crossed 🤞 it works out. I will certainly return if I need a doctor. Hubby has now seen Dr Pennell and is very impressed. He is a doctor who listens to his patient. Looks at how he can improve your health with minimum or no medication and gives you a pat on the back when you have managed to get some weight off & is encouraging to keep up the good work. When you need a referral for a specialist who are booked out months in advance he will find a way to get you to a specialist earlier. Very happy with Dr Pennell and the staff at Watsonia central medical clinic.

Dr Ammar is the best GP doctor that I have been visited in Melbourne since 2018. After checking my situation, he makes life easy. Dr Sam Pennell is a brilliant GP, it is so hard to find decent doctors these days but Dr Pennell and the team at Watsonia Central are just amazing. First doctors clinic I've been to in a while that seems to really care about their patients. It also helps that it is a lovely clinic to go to! They've done a great job to make it inviting and comfortable for patients.
