Want to check out insects, skulls, bones, fancy rocks and taxidermied animals, this is the place. I enjoyed it, lots of interesting things to see, helpful staff and if you're after a quirky present, the prices aren't unreasonable, in my opinion.

This store is truly a hidden treasure. A lot of interesting stuff in here. The stone section is amazing. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. There are so many things I want to buy but too bad my bank account doesn't allow me to buy all of them. Will definitely come back in the future to buy something for myself and pick some unique gifts for others.

Bought my first butterfly here! Everything is beautifully well-crafted, a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Amazing! This shop feels like something out the Harry Potter series except better because it’s real, and Science-based. Crystals, minerals, barometers, fob watches and heaps of biological samples including fossilised ones. Great place for budding naturalists, geographers and explorers of all ages. The prices are very reasonable and the proprietor, Ray, is an absolute Gentleman. Highly recommended.

Really interesting stuff, price is reasonable for the work that goes into it. Really unique, doubles as both museum and retail store, but wished there was a bit more customer service.

Amazing selection of butterflies and presious gems. Lovely staff. It's always a treat to just explore the store when I have time.

This is an absolutely incredible place, I am yet to find out if this store is indeed ethically sourced, but the stores beauty is immaculate. I myself am a collector and this store is a place I want to visit when I'm in the city. Everything is very high-quality and 100 percent worth the money if you appreciate oddities. I haven't found a single store in real life like this one and you can tell that the owners put some real hard work into this steam punk fairytale shop.

Great little shop. Beautiful oddities and curiosities. Which included taxidermey, entomology, geology and there were even dentist tools and an amputation saw. I picked up a beautiful framed election of cicadas. Which is my 3rd piece from his store. The mounting is beautiful.

Really enjoyed visiting. It had some quirky and interesting curiosity items, well out of the more mundane "occult/ephemeral" items. Some vintage scientific collectables and curiosities. Worth a visit!

Amazing store with a lot of variety and so many cool pieces! The man running the store is a wealth of knowledge and is super friendly. Very happy with my Rothschild Birdwing butterfly that I picked up. A must visit spot for those who enjoy taxidermy, wet specimens, butterflies, moths and bugs, old science/medical equipment and other general oddities!

Such a cool niche environment with realistic prices on all their skeletons and taxidermy. Really cool collection too with variety of taxidermy birds, foxes, fish and wet specimen that look incredible. Very cool stuff!

A small space, not crowded but you can spend many hours there, not to mention a few dollars. Not expensive but so full of things you just damn want!

A hidden gem in the heart of the city. Full of weird and wonderful curios (available to purchase!). Browsing makes a nice diversion from the busy streets. Ben is friendly and easy to talk to should you have specific questions. Definitely recommend, whether you're a collector or just like to look!

What a surprising find! Walking from our hotel to the malls, we passed this shop and decided to drop in because of the interesting displays on the window. There's just one guy manning the shop who seems quite knowledgeable on the collectables. This place is also a tiny museum, displaying animal bones, preserved carcass, etc. Almost all can be purchased.
