Friendly staff and easily accessible via elevator to floor 1, moderately sized with alot of dc and marvel comics. Also a section for children books. Only con is it has a small section for manga and a small section for figurines. Prices are average around $20 a manga book to $10 for small comic book.

A really cool place for some comics. Ppl there are super chill and nice. Jake is super talented. I almost forgot my sister there and turn out she's enjoying the guardians of galaxy at the corner. The staff knows about comic as well.

Has a huge collection of noteworthy comics, and the staff are always very sweet and nice! They sell from indie sellers as well, which is always great to see. I got a comic called The Closet, but it was definitely a hard pick out of all the other comics! Would definitely see going back to in the future, and I hope one day I'll be able to buy Ultimate Spider-Man from there :)

All Star Comics has instantly become my go to store online..service, professionalism and the little touches such as freebie mags, the nice thank you note and discount code on top of prompt super well packaged delivery to avoid any damage in transit is exceptional ...only reason avoiding coming into the store is that I will not be able to resist buying too many must read books. One of our favourite city destinations as a family. Great selection of comics and always very helpful staff. My boys love looking at their selection of vintage toys especially the Lego.

All Star staff are engaging, educated, and super friendly which always makes visiting the store a pleasure. The range of comics available is incredible, and you are bound to find something that you've been searching for or like me stumbled across something you didn't know existed and love it. Prices are good, store is always clean, and location is perfect

I live up in Queensland, but have ordered from this store twice. The first time, there was an error with one trade paperback when my order arrived (they have given me a “volume 2” instead of a “volume 3”), but after one short email explaining this, the correct book was in my hands less than a week later. The second time - most recently - I was using a parcel collect address, and I got a call to my mobile triple checking that what I wrote was correct. Some other stores in the past have written this incorrectly on my parcels, causing many a delay, but Anthony picked up the phone and called to check, which is beyond appreciated. Great store, great service, and I hope to make it down there in person one day soon.

Kinda hidden away, but a nice store with pleasant staff. Good selection, and a great Local section, which I always respect. If you're into comics, definitely worth a visit, but really, expect just comics, not much of the peripheral merchandise or tangential related goods (board games etc)

Great experience here. My daughter(4) really wanted a She Hulk comic after first being obsessed by the Hulk and then finding our there was a She Hulk! So we made the trip up, and she was amazed that such a shop existed. When telling the staff it was her first comic, they chucked in a few random kids comic book day freebies. To which she loves and now knows who spider gwen is. Thanks all 😁🙌

I’ve been getting my comics here for years now. Super easy to set up a standing order and I’ve never missed anything! The trade paperback selection is huge, you’ll find almost anything in there. A great shop to just browse the shelves and find something cool to read, whether that’s a TPB or latest release issues. Plus all the staff are cool and friendly. The perfect shop for long time collectors or for someone dipping their toes into the world of comics for the first time!

Great range of reading materials. Super friendly staff are happy to talk people through what books would most appeal to them. Though I don't read comics that much, a high recommendation to visit for those that do.

One of the few places I was able to find a specific TP which arguably, could of been priced higher due to the scarcity. Not only were the staff kind enough to hold it until I was able to place my order online, they even threw in a few freebies. It was muchly appreciated and I will definitely be shopping here again.

It was a little hard to find as I wasn't from the area, but once inside it absolutely blew my mind. Only down side was I only had an hour to spare. You need to allow a minimum of four and I could of easily spent a full day digging. Staff were helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

Hands down easily one of the best comic stores in Melbourne. Friendly service in store and also extremely generous and careful packaging when I have purchased comics online. I don’t travel to the city often but All Star Comics will be one of my main stops from here on out.

Beautiful store with an amazing selection of comics. I particularly enjoyed how they were categorised by publisher/genre, and the staff were incredibly friendly. If you're hunting for manga, the pricing is +$0-2 compared to other stores, but each book is seamlessly packaged in plastic film. Hygienic and in relative mint condition :D

The staff here are super helpful and inclusive. My wife is always a bit intimidated by comic stores where she's found staff dismissive or disinterested but All Star made her feel welcome and invited her to an all female comic group. Every time I've been in, everyone has been warm and friendly, helping me find what I'm looking for and shooting the breeze with me. I just wish I was in the city more often to visit!

I’m not one to to give reviews, but after my third time shopping with all star and getting great service I felt like I wanted to make sure they know. I came in at the last hour before with my girls tonight, and after picking up some things we got an overwhelming amount of support from the staff. Pretty blown away by the positivity at the end of a long day, and although my girls were shy when asked about the kid’s section they spoke about how much they loved it on the way home. Thanks again all, you’re my number 1 comic stop.

Wow 🤩 what a great comic book store, took my 9 year old daughter today, they have an entire kids comic book section which is awesome, she walked out with 6 comic books that she wanted and was absolutely over the moon, the staff were so friendly and helpful, will 100% be back here 10/10 The only downside to their location is parking, cost me $27 for not even half an hour, don’t park underground,avoid it or catch the train into the cbd

Walking into all star comics is an experience. You're greeted with the presence of hundreds of thousands of comics with one of the larger varieties and convenient layouts I've seen. But... All comic stores I've been to outside of the city have been cheaper. Not just 1 or 2 dollars cheaper either. More like 4-5 dollars cheaper and that makes a difference. All Star isn't my main comic shop, but it is a comic shop I like going back to, even if I'm paying more on some items.

Best comic shop I've ever been to. Nice quiet atmosphere. Friendly service. Excellent range. Online presence. But I think the biggest positive for me is the focus upon the BOOKS instead of drowning the place in pop culture junk. You come here for the comics, and that's exactly what you get. 👌
