Having completed many first aid courses my husband and I both agreed today’s was the best. We completed 165 questions before the day. They gave the guide book page number with each question so it was easy to work through and didn’t take too long. This made the actual course day much shorter and we were able to focus on learning the practical skills. Jay was a great presenter as well.

Nathan was fantastic! He made everyone feel calm and ready for what was a most enjoyable training session. No question was too hard to answer and he encouraged our questions and thoughts throughout the entire duration. Years of experience showed here. What an outstanding and good man. I would fully recommend anyone to his training. Maybe I'll catch him one day and have a ginger beer with him!! :-)

Enjoyed course. It was very informative. Jo was excellent, didn’t mind me asking many questions. I feel face to face class time could be better broken into 2 classes, ie CPR one day then 1st Aid etc on a second day to cover steps more thoroughly for student to gain extra confidence. Otherwise very good coverage in one session, and look forward to refreshing my skills In 12-24 months.

This is my 3rd year going back to do a refresher course. I have never had trouble finding a place to park and its also a great location for me personally. Jason F, our trainer is great and very informative. He creates a great atmosphere and is clear when discussing either First Aid or CPR. I highly recommend Australia Wide First Aid at Northlakes.

I got more out of the CPR and First Aid course I completed yesterday than I have before. Nathan’s casual and down-to-earth demeanour made me feel relaxed and comfortable from outset, and helped in my retention of information. His repetition and clarity with regard to important information, such as ‘30 & 2’ was also beneficial in helping me remember. His knowledge combined with his friendliness, and ability to project, made this the most enjoyable and beneficial first aid & CPR course I have completed yet. I am also super appreciative of Nathan’s nursery rhyme suggestion for timing and counts of compressions. I had been anxious about attending, and left feeling empowered rather than worried about the possibility of ever having to use these skills. So thank you Nathan for your imparting of skills and knowledge. I hope when I’m updating my qualifications, the next instructor I have is as comfortable in themselves and as knowledgeable in the content that they’re able able to deliver information as concisely and in just as a relaxed manner as you were able to —which all benefitted me, and those I may have to use this with one day. Difficult to find, however the instructions to the sight were good. Teacher was great. Was a very large class but we still got plenty of one on one. Questions were on line and plenty of them. Class practical was therefore done more quickly. I did the full First Aid including the CPR. Plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Enjoyed my time there. Thank you teach.

Absolutely brilliant! Nathan is the best thing since sliced bread! Clear, concise instruction, incredible stories and generally made the class as engaging as possible on a Saturday morning! I would happily recommend Nathan to colleagues, family and friends who require first aid and CPR training. He makes everyone feel welcome and tailors his class to meet the needs of the students. I definitely will be returning for any additional training or refreshers through him and Australia Wide First Aid.

Great course! Who would have thought something so serious would be so much fun. Nathan was an amazing trainer giving real life examples, engaging with everyone, retained all he shared as he delivered the info in such a relatable real world way.

Instructor Jason F did a great job in our class today. A new technique of splitting the room in 3 groups, 1 on CPR for adults, 1 for children and 1 on defibs. This worked well and gave everyone to contribute at the same time without people missing out. I will definitely recommend this course

I was part of Group A in Jason F’s course today. The class was very interactive and straightforward to understand. I appreciated Jason’s efficiency in getting the entire class to do the required skills so we finished on time. Great experience, will come back next year!

The trainer was an excellent communicator. The course content was concise and the information was enough to equip us in all the different situations we may find ourselves in as a first aider. The trainer catered to all learning styles. Full attention was paid to hygiene.

Easy to understand and comprehensive class. Course tutor Andrew was everything you could want in a teacher and assessor. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, with a dose of humour to get through the day while staying focused. I thought I knew everything, however it was definitely not the case! Recommended for anyone needing a refresher to keep up with current guidelines and for those doing it first time. Don't bother shopping around, this is everything that you need right here. Thanks

Great trainer. Maybe have some music or have the trainer interact more with the group when you first walk in as its very tense. Dont get me wrong the trainer was great but the vibe is tense. Could also include in the email whats expected. Clothes to wear and parking info. And really stress 15 minutes early

What a great experience we had yesterday whilst doing our CPR course. Nathan, our instructor/trainer was very informative, knowledgeable and very professional but also had a great sense of humour, making the whole experience fun. My friends and I came away feeling much more confident, knowing that we have the ability to assist someone in need...if required to. Thank you AWFA and especially Nathan.

I was a bit apprehensive at first as I hadn’t undertaken first aid and CPR training for a while so thought I might get left behind. I need not of worried. Jason was a great instructor, the training was paced very well and easy to follow.

Jay was our trainer and gotta say it was the best training I've had in a long time. Jay was nothing but professional, friendly, kind, understanding, patient and honest especially when it came to demonstrations - he didn't want us to pick up bad habits in training and honestly there is nothing better than that.
