    Came in to the perfume section to smell some fragrances after work on thursday (21st), there were two ladies, one of them persian, and a male working in the area. No greeting, nothing. I saw that one of the perfumes needed to be unlocked, so I said hey to the non-persian female sales assistant to get her attention and she IGNORES me completely and continues to speak to the man beside her?? So I have to talk over them to ask if they can unlock it for me and she begrudgingly does so, not saying a word to me the whole time let alone smile. I awkardly try it on with her breathing down my neck. Then when I continue to browse with my friend she just stands right near us in case we steal, after we just spent hundreds AND were carrying a myer bag? Worst experience ever, I've never been treated like this in a store in my life and not me nor anyone I am acquainted with will be coming back whatsoever as long as she works there.

    Big shout out to Oliver in the fragrance department yesterday. They were so helpful in finding the perfect perfumes for my partner and I. Oliver was extremely knowledgeable and gave us amazing options. I have shopped in the fragrance department at Chermside Myer a few times, and I have never been disappointed with the staff there.

    I would like to publicly recognize Judith Hawthorne's outstanding assistance. I made the mistake of disposing of a giftcard that still had credit, without skipping a beat she retrieved it from a full bin. She was cheerful and kind. This is why shopping face to face is so valuable, customer service matters. Thank-you Judith, you are a gem!

    Twice in the past month I’ve been in there; first for perfume and second for skin care. Both times the staff have been incredibly rude and dismissive. The two perfume staff were condescending and when asking for a particular perfume they mentioned it is no longer stocked - which is of course not their fault. But when I asked for help to find something similar they told me to go online and look at chemist warehouse for my budget as if I couldn’t afford anything (I was in active wear - perhaps I liked poor?) and unfortunately for them, I had an open budget for the right scent. Snippy mean girls is the phrase that came to mind. Second woman was today when I was looking for skin care, knew what I wanted couldn’t find it. She was one foot out the door and I was left, walking out. Unsure what they are told in customer service training but if all staff have this snotty attitude - a lot of sales are walking out the door to David Jones

    I was shopping in the Dior section and a lady named Karen helped me with my purchases, she was the most LOVELY salesperson I’ve ever spoken to and she absolutely made my day. She also did beautiful gift wrapping on the perfume I bought and she was super helpful.

    Massive thank to Scott who was able to assist me with finding an overnight bag I had seen the previous day. When I went back to get it, it wasn't where I had seen it. Scott was able to help find it, and then took me over to the register to ring it up. Thank you 😊

    Nat at the Sunglass Hut section was absolutely lovely, I was with my young daughter who needed sunglasses. Nat was so great with my daughter while we made our purchase. I ended up coming back shortly later to get my son a pair of sunglasses from Nat as well. Fantastic customer service in this busy time of year. Thanks Nat!

    Tonight I was helped by the absolutely lovely sue. Came in 20 minutes to close looking for a specific item as a last minute Mother’s Day present. Sue went absolutely above and beyond to find the one they had left. Not in the spot out front (due to renovations we think), and had to search high and low to find the last one out back. Felt like she truly cared about helping me out when she could have easily turned me away, she’s a fantastic asset to your Manchester team. Cheers, Bodie

    It is a very good store with their full product lines. They have good stock levels which means I can nearly always get what I want to purchase. Their staff are very friendly and helpful.

    I think it’s 3 days until the Myer store in the city closes down so I’m kinda sad my favourite person (Heath) who knows there stuff in the perfume/fragrance industry will be going to the Chermside store but for whoever shops on the north side at Myer looking for a wonderful good smelling fragrance Heath is the person you want to be talking to. They know their information from A to Z, super super friendly kind and welcoming and they make you feel and smell like a million bucks with the amazing samples they share with you and tell you information you need to know about new up coming fragrances you love from your favourite brands. So worth spending money on something you really like while getting amazing dazzling customer service. I’ve been served from them twice from 2 years ago and today and they still have the same can do attitude, kind heart and knowledge. Someone should be looking at giving Heath a pay rise in my opinion

    Just back from unimpressive experience in home appliances where assistant had no clue about vacuum cleaners and manager refused to price match a Dyson for $50 less.on sale at DAVID JONES.. ( After telling me they price matched the same vacuum cleaner the day before).Guess manager has to be in a good mood… Short walk to DAVID JONES and a far more knowledgeable and friendly assistant who sold me the Dyson I was after and offered a $10 gift voucher. So one less Myer customer who has lots of friends that will hear this story. 😑💩

    Went in today for help with an online order that arrived faulty. Scott at the online hub was wonderful and so accommodating for me especially considering how distressed i was. I hope his customer service and kindness is recognised by the workplace xx

    Mayer bag section is horrible..... I went in to look for a duffle bag.... so what would you as a female go to? The bag section... right??? Nope, you have to go to the men's area and look over the whole floor because they are scattered everywhere.... plus, they are $400+. Then I spoke to another employee, and they said they are in the travel area. Ok, so I went there, and nope, just backpacks and suit cases..... absolutely useless... I ended up going to corlette, and they had the perfect duffle.

    Great variety and love the cafe. The staff are quite helpful although the change rooms are always a mess. You go into one, and there are 20 garments that aren't yours hanging up. If you need a different size, you always need to get redressed and get it yourself. Otherwise, it's pleasant to shop here.

    Margaret in the Dior section was very, very helpful. She is very knowledgeable in the brand, the scents, and just random facts about dior and helped me a lot picking out a secondary scent for my mother and a boxset for my brother. Thank you Margaret so much!!! Made my shopping experience quick and efficient. 5/5 🌟

    Today my daughter's and myself ventured to Chermside with the intention of finding a pair of shoes. After searching high and low we found ourselves in the shoe department at Myer. After a few stops and starts we had the absolute pleasure of being served by Sabina. She was serving several people at the same time and making everyone feel they were getting the complete attention of her. She was so lovely and helpful. Customer service is a hard industry to be in but Sabina was nothing but kind, courteous and engaging.

    Rather disappointed with Myer, it was assured that my items were in stock, however only half my order is ready to pick up. I expected far more from this store and sadly this is not the first time I had to cancel a order over 2 days to prepare for a pickup, went into the store and got the products I wanted within half an hour. The online ordering seems to be failing, or stores are not updating their stock .

    Went to buy a cologne but had a very unpleasant and disrespectful experience, Nic the salesman was great and very helpful, I asked for price match with another store in the same shopping centre that had the same product for $50 cheaper and it was meeting Myer’s policy (Physical store in Australia and the product has to be exactly the same), long story short, this is what happened: 1. as a proof for the price match,I showed photo of the item and it’s price in the other shop, 2. After lengthy discussion between Nic and other two managers, Nic’s manager decided to walk out to the other shop to check the item herself ! 3. Without any apology for keeping me waiting there for 20-25mins, the manager confirmed the sale with price match but told Nic that he shouldn’t give me shopping bag with my $500 cologne that I was purchasing only because they price matched the item! This is very rude and cheap behaviour from a manager in LUXURY line products ! As a customer of Myer for many years, I am expecting a better shopping experience specially with some of these product lines (the ones that you call them LUXURY products and never get sales price or discount!), it’s either you need to review your policies or your product manager needs a better training! For anyone who reading this review, the price match experience at David Jones is waaaay more easier and pleasant than the Myer!

    Myer Westfield Chermside. Purchased a Chanel perfume and strolled up to the second floor to women's shoe department. Absolutely discussing non existent customer stood for 15 mins to wait on staff. Some staff appeared to be busy but just ignored me and didn't even acknowledge me. No, hello, nothing! I walked over to the checkout and was told by two Caucasian mature aged women who happened to be staff that "I should go back and wait by the doors and someone will serve me". I said "I've been waiting but just being ignored by staff". They looked shocked The staff member said in an abrupt manner "well you'll have to go back over there and wait because that's what happens here". The two staff were both serving one customers, which either one could've assited me. Then I walked back to the doors as instructed the same staff member who them came over and dusted the shelf next to me and asked me if I was being served. Then she proceeded to walk around the shoe department grabbing shoes and pretending to look busy. Which was what I observed her doing the whole entire time I was in the store! Just going to work to fill in her time. How terrible and such disgusting customer service. I won't be shopping there again! Let me guess mystery shoppers will all of a sudden be post positive reviews about Myer Westfield Chermside women's shoes department. Lift your game Myer stop hiring these semi-retired, good for nothing lazy privileged Caucasian women who bring their bias, disgusting attitude.

    Always my favourite shop no matter the location. Chermside is always clean and a ready, welcoming layout. Love it even more after the renovation recently. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. My whole house is mainly Myer including clothes. Bought a beautiful Christmas tree today at 50% off and some really bespoke decorations. Quality and unique. Always worth it.

    Karen is AMAZING! Not only did she pick out amazing dress options for a wedding I have to attend but she came in to look at each one of the dresses and helped me pick the right one in the end 😍 she gave my friend and I some of the best service I have ever experienced in retail! Dont ever let her go!! She even gave us a hug before we left! I will come back just to see her!

    Me and my friend (from New Zealand) went into Myer in Chermside to buy a Dyson hair dryer for his girlfriend for Christmas! And was served by this absolutely lovely lady who worked in the kids department. She was extremely helpful and a very approachable, patient and kind. I wish I took her name so I could personally compliment her. She made this experience one of the best that I have ever had in any retail store. She told me she has worked there for over a decade! I hope she will see this and know who she is!

    The store is also nice and neat. There is not much stock left after boxing day sales. Not many staff around to assist with product enquiries. When we checked out, there was also a long line, and we waited 20 minutes to be served. Maybe it's the time of the year...

    Myer Westfield Chermside - be aware when you purchase to this shop on SALE and be sure to double check your receipt before you go because they will charge you for the original price. And the worst person from the costumer service name KRISTEN not very helpful at all I end up shaking and so angry because she will just insist her own opinion not base to your receipt, lucky that the store manager has a very good costumer service shout out for this amazing woman and thanks a lot…👏👏👏

    Price match guarantee is a joke. You cannot ring up and price check, you can only do it in person. The floor staff have to check with the manager. The manager doesn’t answer the phone, so you have to wait. They weren’t able to price match in my case, for a "Dyson Gen5detect absolute" cordless vacuum cleaner, so I went to The Good Guys. I’m not going to bother with price match in future. Otherwise, the store is nice, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Just not the place to go to for a bargain.

    Pretty disappointed with my experience today. Went to buy a couple of new dinner sets and not one staff member available to help with questions. After Googling and making a decision I had to ask a couple of teenage boys to help me carry the boxes to the counter. No packaging or help from staff once I’d purchased. Had to purchase a 50 cent bag which immediately ripped. Was told to go downstairs and grab a trolley from Coles. Got home to open them and piece missing from the box. Rang Myer concierge and told to bring it back - no offer to resolve. Super poor customer service.

    Alfsoon in the fragrance department is an absolute angel. She was very patient with me when I found out Alien was out of stock to get it refilled. She held the last bottle for me and I came back and bought it. She gave me a couple of samples of the new alien goddess fragrance too. Big props 💯♥️

    Excellent customer service, Bec in the handbag section helped me get exactly what I needed, she was very kind, honest and helped me work within my budget. I left the store content with my purchase and will be coming back again soon, I hope you take care of her because she was well worth my time and 100% couldn’t have done it without her.

    Clean store, well stocked. Plenty of seating inside for trying on shoes which is something I notice many department stores don't get right these days. Only drawback is the perpetual absence of staff to assist, though this is again quite common in these settings.

    Seriously, if management are reading these reviews, you need to hire more/more attentive staff. I went in to buy shoes for my son, two staff members literally made eye-contact with me, then looked away and went off to 'tidy' shelves. Not the first time your service personnel have not offered their services.

    Had a frustrating experience trying to buy gifts from a registry. The young woman who served us was pleasant but didn't know how to do it so we had to wait for ages while she served other (click and collect) customers who arrived after us because she needed to ring another store! Ended up taking about 45 minutes of our precious Sunday afternoon. If you're going to offer a gift registry service, please train your staff in how to use it!!

    Been shopping at Myer most of the time but today I got a little bit surprised of service shopping at Dior beauty, she is the sale person from ysl, I needed a little help for choosing make up stuff and cream etc; I understand of how she not the sale from Dior but the TONE! Of speaking to customer was 0/10 ( unhappy ) lucky that another sale person come so I can get start buying.

    Myer at Chermside is a great place to visit, amazing range of shops with many big name brands present. Plenty of time limited free parking, (2 hrs). Will definately be back. Donut King has a presence too, and a plug for seniors, when ordering your coffee, dont forget your free Donuts!

    It's the only Myer I go to, due to location, so this review is not fully informed. But they have a huge range of menswear, in general, and an excellent range of formal wear - suits, trousers, shirts, sock and most especially some superb, quality material and designed, neckties!!

    I came in today and had the best customer service & experience in the cosmetics department, I was served by a lovely lady called Amelia in the dior section she took all the time to show us gift ideas and gave us all the price values my mom and I are so happy . We will definitely come back to be server by Amelia. She is honestly the asset of Myer Chermside. We are giving Amelia 10⭐️ out of 5 .

    I was really disappointed with the level of service in the men's suit section. Staff preferred to make adjustments to shirts on the rack than ask if I needed assistance. Walked out and spent my money elsewhere!

    Customer service is out the window. Trying to find a staff member for assistance is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Store looks tired and run down. Perhaps the staff should pay more attention with the children’s clothing to ensure the correct hangers are on the correct sized clothing and that the children’s fitting rooms are free from other peoples laziness walking in and finding clothing and hangers everywhere absolutely appalling. Clearly the care factor in this store is totally ZERO…

    I do like Myer, but Click & Collect is hopeless. Advertised next day collection on their website, then find out it can be 2-3 days. Why? I would have opted for delivery & got it faster & with the abomination that is car parking at Chermside, will be cancelling the order (as going back there would be insane).

    Today I went to Myers Chermside looking for a Cuban inspired outfit for my daughters birthday party not really knowing what I was looking for. An assistant (I believe her name is Carolyn) asked if she could help. When I explained what I was looking for she pulled up Cuban colors on her phone and helped me find a dress and earrings. Just want to say how great it is to find somebody who provides great service. She explained she had worked at Myers in the city and moved to Chermside store after it closed. Chermside you have scored a great sales assistant.

    Myer is Myer, at least the staff leave you alone to shop or is it that there's not enough direct Myer employed staff. When ready to speak to someone you can't always find someone to help. Seems most staff are related to different departments and not able to help and say you need to talk to a Myer staff member. Myer you need to employ staff just as Myer staff as they are willing to help with any department and know the store. Myer Chermside could be a great place to shop, it's in a convenient spot though. Everyone has a different shopping experience, I'm just going on the times I've been there and best suits my situation.
