Just 500 meters walk from the nearest car park. Water quality may affect health so swimming in the water should be cautious. It is a big quarry. There is a waterfall just south east of the quarry. 600 meters walk from the carpark. 500 meters from the quarry. Spring will be the best time to visit. Discover the wildflowers spread in the reserve. But there are a lot ants on the trail so be careful when walking in the park.

Love the Old Barrington Quarry, the water levels were high and the waters were flowing smoothly. The gravely areas were quite muddy, so wear shoes with extra grip if you plan on going during winter.

Beautiful walking trail but it does get steep. Great views of the city and natural bushland but the trail can get rocky. Huge clearing and rocks to rockclimb but you will need comfortable shoes and water. I think this place is great!!

In addition to the attraction of the quarry with it's blue winter lake, the local area contains a diverse range of flora and fauna. Walking trails certainly need boots. The walk between the quarry and the falls is visually striking with some rocky narrow paths. Masses of local birdlife. Great photographic opportunities in this area.

Most part of the trek/walk is steep and rocky. Worth a visit during the waterfall season. Wouldn't go there in summer.

Beautiful scenery, a relatively easy uphill walk from the bottom carpark but if you go via the waterfall route be prepared for a more challenging hike with large steps and uneven terrain, totally worth the effort tho and the area is dog friendly. I'd suggest doing this hike before lunch as you will struggle to get a good parking spot from about 12pm onwards. Bring your own water. Lots of picnic benches available around the carpark area but the scenery isn't the best there. Allow atleast 1.5 hrs for the walk track

Great small trail following the path along side the waterfall. The hike is short and in the beginning there is a little steep but it gets better. Bring water bottle and sun screen especially summer.

A nice place for a snack on the way up to 60 foot falls. Would be a great place to stop and have a bite to eat on a sunny day so you can enjoy the reflections if the quarry walls and surrounding bushland off the water.

Part of the Ellis Brook Valley walk/hike. Nice easy walk, with some stairs to climb. If you're a hiking beginner, this is a nice trail to do.

Been here quite a few times, the affects of jarrah-die back are getting worse and there's a huge rock thats starting to crack on 1 side making it quite dangerous. But other than that, its a great little trail, orchids, waterfalls, shade, views.

Good short loop walk grade 4 steep climb with rocks on path and wooden steps.. about 1.6km up and around waterfall and back down to quarry. Suitable for fairly fit people and dog friendly if on a leash.

Nice 2.5km walk (enough for our 6yr old to endure) with great scenic view of the city, & nature. Several picnic tables available at the carpark.
