👍👍 I had never been snorkelling, let alone diving, before I started my PADI OpenWater course with Blackpool Area Divers and the experience has been fantastic. I'm now starting my rescue divers course and can say I've well and truly caught the diving bug. All of the staff have been excellent and I have... People often mention dive, shop, Blackpool, Area,

Started my dive career with Blackpool Area Divers and wouldn't have it any other way. Open Water through to Instructor Dave and the team have been there all the way. Great shop to just pop in and have a natter about diving. Great knowledge and advice always on hand and usually a brew to go with it. Cant recommend them highly enough.

Left a cylinder three weeks ago for recertification and filling up with compressed air, no one got back to me, and after my chasing up the job as I was told it would take 7 to 10 days to do, as the shop would have to send the cylinder away to be tested, still no one dealt with the matter after their reply to my email on Monday 28/10/2019. I once again travelled from Preston to the shop in Thornton Cleveleys and collected the cylinder to take it to another gas certifier. A waste of time and petrol, as well as absolutely poor customer service. I felt sorry for the lady who was in the shop today and she was very apologetic. The guy who took the cylinder on the 11/10/2019 was too busy on the phone at the time chasing up various amounts of money owed to the business account of the shop, and thus didn't even give me a copy of the receipt either, even though it was still in the order book today with the white top copy (customer's?) removed. None too pleased. I am to collect the cylinder refilled and checked in three days time from Gas UK.

Did the 'try a dive' with my 10 year old daughter- I had done it before (once) but she was completely new. The instructors were friendly and informal but made you feel safe. They were excellent with her, giving her confidence and by the end of the hour she was loving it. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

It has been my absolute pleasure to dive with Blackpool Area Divers. I joined as a completely new diver and was guided through multiple courses and greatly assisted in sourcing equipment so that I could dive on my own when I leave the area. I would strongly recommend diving with them as they have been absolutely fantastic in every encounter I have had. I look forward to returning.

Come and fulfil your dream exploring the underwater dream and make new friends and trips of a lifetime round the world. Delightful experiences you'll never for the rest of your life. See world of aquatic with probably the best dive school in England. Lots of opportunities to go and explore.

Fantastic shop. Got my son through his open water and both of us through the drysuit course. Both the owner Dave and our instructor Tony were brilliant, couldn't do enough to help us and make sure we were good to go. Thanks so much for a brilliant week 😀

What a brilliant team they have at Blackpool Area Divers. From the moment I spoke to them on the phone up to taking courses I was so surprised on how friendly and accommodating they are. Dave was lovely and very approachable guy, he sorted everything before my course. Then, I had Tony to take me on my pool session, with my missus doing a try dive. My fiancé has asthma and not very confident but Tony did his magic to make her comfortable and enjoy her first ever dive. Tony took me to my first open water at Capenwray Quarry which was super fun. My final dives was with Lou, she made sure I was looked after. She then supported me with all the necessary skills I need to be a competent open water diver. Over all, I was super happy with my experience. I look forward to my advance open water when the weather is warmer. I would highly recommend this dive centre.

My son and I did our Open Water qualification through Blackpool Area and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody. Great instructors, great sales and after service - Dave sorted out my dive computer in minutes (when I couldn’t source a proper battery and gasket) - really grateful for all their help. 🤿👍

I had never been snorkelling, let alone diving, before I started my PADI OpenWater course with Blackpool Area Divers and the experience has been fantastic. I'm now starting my rescue divers course and can say I've well and truly caught the diving bug. All of the staff have been excellent and I have felt safe at all times. They run regular trips around the UK and abroad and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming despite the questionable British weather. The shop has a wide variety of kit to hire and are exceptionally well priced if you prefer to purchase your own gear like I have. I would, and do, recommend BAD to anyone who is thinking about learning to dive.

Can't fault Blackpool Area Divers, all the instructors are extremely friendly and helpful, but be careful - I only came for my Open Water certification and now I work here.
