I've been a regular at the adult beginner's hip hop class for some time & can definitely recommend! Teaching is at the right level so I can learn at my own pace and feel I'm improving with time. The teachers & other students make the class friendly & fun, and welcoming to all ages (not just the 20 somethings :) ). All run professionally by Shona & Carol in a relaxed space.

The Block Studio has welcomed my daughter with open arms this year and she is thoroughly enjoying her classes! The staff are friendly and helpful and teachers are very knowledgeable and easy to learn from. The studio is clean, tidy and in a great location and we are so happy we have joined The Block Family.

Best bunch of people, super fun vibes all the time, and Shona and Carol (studio owners) always make it a priority that the studio remains a positive and supportive environment for all ages. We moved to The Block Studios when our daughter felt like she was falling out of love for dance. Sophie has always loved hip hop the most and loves to be challenged and learning new techniques. She absolutely loves the diverse hip hop range the block offers. Sophie’s passion and drive to dance comes alive when she is performing.

Timaloa 'Christmas in July' 2022 Venue was perfect to host our function. Didn't have to decorate much, as the studio was beautifully set up already...the amenities were functional & readily avail for use. Which made our job easier to host & cater an intimate family day with a fun packed day & spacious enough to hold games aswell. Thank you Carol & Shona for sharing your beautiful venue with us.
