I love this little gem! Firstly, their coffee is really good... And I'm pretty fussy about my coffee, liking a stronger, more robust flavour. So when I saw the ad for a music evening to support local artists, I jumped at it even though I live a 45-minute drive outside the area. The tickets were worth every cent and more!! The musicians were excellent, the food very yummy, and the ambience nice and cosy with tablecloths and tea light candles. The wait staff were, as always, very friendly and smiling. A big shout out to Brett, Gianni, Callum, Lara and all the others who made this a truly memorable evening. I look forward to my regular daily coffee!

Came out from Carina to meet up with mates later in the day. Decided to stop in here for lunch! Definitely a great call. Amazing service, very patient with a somewhat overfriendly local man, the food and drink were delicious AND it was out in ten minutes?! Yeah, we gotta come here more often!

One star for the coffee as the breakfast was not good at all got order wrong and houlimi smelt funny and was soo salty bacon was tasteless and watery and eggs that I ordered poached got scrambled was over cooked and not good. Atmosphere is for singles. Loved the coffee need loads improvement I walked out because I was upset with how much that cost and what I got.

The reason I keep going back to this place is the fact that it has the most amazing, positive and wonderful staff. The food is brilliant and the coffee never misses the beat. The vibe in the place is electrifying and you'll always walk out of this venue with a smile on your face, a buzz from the coffee and a full stomach without hurting your wallet. Keep up the good work!

Successful reinvention of a tired business space. The energy of love shows in everything from Oikos, taking a dilapidated space and filling it with warm decor and industrial accents to create a loyal community of customers. Respect and culture are a powerful factor in rebranding a space and making it your own. This is exactly what the new owners have achieved over the past couple of years. This local business is also community active contributing space for Down2Earth charity. Space inside is limited with outside seating and takeaways. You won't be disappointed by the personalised service and finesse in everything from the coffee to the food. Impressed with our entire experience, thank you!

1st review Very friendly small cafe within the Ipswich CBD. Not a lot of seating inside, so maybe hard to eat in if you are with a large group of people. We really like the coffee here and find it consistently good. We both had the Mojo wrap, and while the wrap doesn't photo really well it was very tasty and did not disappoint. Reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend. 2nd review, got a takeaway Acai bowl and was very disappointed. The bowl was only slightly over half full and fruit was slightly brown in colour with about a tablespoon of coconut yoghurt. I didn't want to get rid of my initial review as I am generally really happy with the food at Oikos. Not sure if we got them on an off day but would not recommend Takeaway Acai bowls.

When you’re looking for a needle in the haystack, stop looking. The service, food and coffee here was amazing and worthy of a review. My photos were rushed because my phone was low on battery and I will come again to take better photos. We had nachos and the full sandwich and were very, very impressed. Then I overheard the owner chatting about their social enterprise, helping kids on track to life and various other incredible modern day heroisms, I’m absolutely making this a regular stop when we come into Ipswich in the future. Thank you 🙏🏼 🙏🏼

Best coffee in Ipswich and great place to chill and talk or just read and relax. They also do amazing toasties!

Oikos have opened in a new location in Nicholas St, in the Ipswich CBD. The cafe is bright and airy with a fun atmosphere. The extensive toastie menu has a lot of great options including bacon, brie and cranberry or bacon, honey and halloumi. There's also a desert option with marshmallow and nutella - delicious. The coffee is fantastic and they've recently added back their nachos range which is also very tasty and features ingredients that are good for you.

Barista knew that because it was below zero outside coffees needed to be extra hot and picked up that I needed a tray without asking. Outstanding service. Worthy of 6 stars.
