Food was good and the staff was attentive. They have rules so pay attention to them but they didn't affect us.

I missed this place so much! So everytime I visit Illinois and/or the Chicagoland area I just got to come. The staff is friendly and the food is great!

This place was so accommodating. We made reservations for 20 but had 43 show up! The owner never flinched. She made it happen and the wait staff efficiently and happily served all of us. The owner even joined us for a family photo. We'll be back for sure. Thanks from the Carr-Little family.

The food was nasty. The eggs and corn beef hash had a nasty after taste and overcooked. I ordered wheat toast buttered but I got pancakes. The fruit bowl was fresh. The rice and ham was just OK. I will not return. THANKS BUT NO THANKS.

Missing items, Horrible presentation of food. Salmon patties, rice and scrabled eggs all mixed in together like slop. Called and was brushed off as that's just how we serve it. Took no accountability for bad food. This place has gone down hill!

The crab cakes are so succulent and mouth-watering delicious 😋 and I think their english muffins are house made they are so delicious 😋. I really enjoyed my food. The french toast was fluffy and light, and the blue berries were fresh. It was a great experience.

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a fantastic evening and the place was surely the reason for the fruitful gathering. We flew in from Ohio and found this place on Google. It was delicious. The food is awesome. The blueberry pancakes were the best. The sausage was tasty. The bacon was cook crispy. The hashbrowns were crunchy on the outside tender on the inside. Absolutely delicious.!!!

I don't know if I chose the wrong food or if I need to eat in the restaurant to get the quality of food that the other reviews mentioned. Firstly, the pancakes are great. I had Nutella and chocolate chip pancakes and greatly appreciated them. That is where the pleasantry ended. I ordered salmon patties with grits and eggs. My grits did not come, though maybe that could have been a delivery issue. I had scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese but there was a very little amount of cheese to the eggs. The salmon patty itself was not pleasant. This isn't unique to this place as many restaurants don't do it well, but that combined with the overall bad experience of the meal was simply disappointing. Even the pineapple juice I had seemed to taste off to me. Perhaps I'll visit in person to give this another try, but I was not happy with this as a meal to go, especially not considering the price.

The customer service was excellent. The food was great and plentiful and the prices are good. No complaints! I'll be going back again.

Me and my daughter went here for my daughter's birthday. I'm so...Happy that I chose this breakfast spot. The wait wasn't long,the service was decent and the food was hot,good and plenty.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Though the owner has past, his wife and family continue to carry on his amazing legacy. He would be soo proud of their perseverance during pandemic when so many businesses had to close. I appreciate their amazing service and good food quality. They come highly recommended

Prices did not match menu. Waitress was not attentive nor did she give the attention worthy of. $25 automatic gratuity. When you take away the customers choice of amount of tip the waitress staff gets lazy. The pancakes were dry and not fresh, I’m not sure if they gave us some that were left sitting but they were not fresh. Staff was nonchalant when I tried to bring this to their attention. Huge portions and very tasty. I'm talking 3 adults could eat off one omelet! Good service. When I looked at the menu I thought it was pricey. When we got the food I understood the pricing.

Went to grab breakfast with friends the morning after a wedding. The lady was nice enough to sit us within the first 15 minutes even though it was a busy Sunday morning. The service was excellent

The food was subpar not that good didn’t even finish my meal at all. , the menu prices aren’t accurate. The waitress came to our table three once to take our order then again to bring the food and drinks. Not once was she attentive or asked did we need anything else. We had to flag her down to get Togo box and the bill. The bill came out to be $153.89 not the issue but a automatic gratuity of 20% was also charged with added a additional $25 to the bill. I don’t mind paying a tip but to pay for subpar service and the food wasn’t all that great. Then when to go pay the bill the people didn’t care and there was a additional $2.99 surcharge fee for credit card users. Would I recommend this place ? No not at all..

Food was excellent and super fast! Portions were good. Service was really good. Price was very reasonable. For a person not from this area, I will definitely will be back when I come back to this area.

Always delicious and the staff is always nice to us. We have been coming here for years. My daughter had the Mickey Mouse pancake with bacon and I had my favorite, the Tijuana omelette. Great portions and the food comes to the table fairly quickly.

Just wow. Was not expecting how awesome this place ended up being! Service was friendly and food was mouth-watering to look at and delicious to eat. Cute decor as well and a wide variety of items on the menu. I was passing through on my way to Idaho from the east coast and was really glad I came here. If I'm ever in the area I'll come again

The food is good and there's the sweetest young lady ther, Jhiavion, who just makes you feel so special.

Very nice staff! I had eggs, bacon and grits. The grits didn't really have any flavor. The rest of my party had pancakes which did look delicious. If I am ever out that way again I may just need to try something else.

Lorraine H. South Holland, IL 5/22/2021 I have been going to this restaurant for years. I always recommend when family is in from out of town but today I am highly disappointed. I called an order in for a Hearty Man Skillet. My husband picked it up (we live on the same block as the restaurant so it took him no time to get the food to me), we started to eat and noticed a strand of curly light colored hair mixed in the eggs. My husband took the food back and was told by a manager on duty that that was my hair and he could not receive a refund. I have BLACK hair so for her to tell him that is my hair and she does not know me or how I look is absurd. She offered to recook the food but at this point we are disgusted and just want our money back. After he came home without the refund, I called to speak to the same manager. I informed her this was not my hair and she proceeded to tell me no one in their kitchen has that hair type. I also informed her that no one in my home has that hair type and if we did it wouldn't be MIXED in the eggs. I asked for a refund she said no. I asked to speak to someone in a higher position she also refused that. I even had to tell her at one point not to yell at me. I am glad today was only a $20 order versus the $80-$100 I usually spend. Very disappointed and will no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone. I know it really doesn't matter to them (because of how we were treated today) but they have lost a long time customer. I couldn't figure out how to reply to your message but thanks so much for responding. She did not give me her name. A young lady answered the phone, I told her the issue she put me on hold and a woman came back to the phone. She said hello, and I proceeded to tell her the issue. When I asked to speak to someone higher she said she was the manager and no one else was there. My husband described her as a short woman with blond hair. This was on Saturday about 12:30 or 1:00 pm if that helps.
