Beautiful park by downtown Homewood. Cleaner than most parks and well maintained.

Great park to walk our dogs. I would like information about possibly getting a memorial placard for a bench with my husband's name. ( He was a lifelong Homewood resident. Growing up he was an Eagle scout, participated in little league and the life of the community. ).

Nice park!! Great for toddlers to play and parents to sit around to watch the little ones play! Great parking as well.

We wanted a place to sit out in the park and enjoy the outdoors. A family was using the small pavilion having lunch. Some High School boys were throwing a baseball back and forth. Birds were chirping and there was a nice breeze within the park. The park had playground areas and some kind of sporting field that wasn't being used. A very convenient park amidst the hustle-bussle of the day!

Another great local green space in Homewood. Surrounded by lots of places to pick up a bite, and then you can walk over have a nice little picnic under the gazebo.

This is a very well kept park. There is a playground for children. I usually meet some really nice people when I visit the park. I really enjoy the Starry Nights Summer Concert series. During these nights the park is filled with people who are out to enjoy an evening of great music and fun. It is the best!

Beautiful fountain in front, parking on street also swings etc for kids and babies.

Nice and clean. Lots of space and cool structures for kids and adults. The Easter Egg Hunt was fun too!

Beautiful park... we visit often. This particular night there was a free concert.. good band, and vendors. Beautiful night

It's a nice and clean park! There's a lot kids of all ages that come and play. Most of them seem to be without the care of their parents. I saw a Junior high school couple making out right in front of little kindergarten age children five feet away from them (while the children were playing). I'm surprised to see teenagers saying bad words in front of little children. Like I said, Most of them are without their parents guidance. If you bring your kids, be advised that they may hear and see other kids displaying profanity and sexual behaviors!

My husband and I attended a park district function at Irwin park. Movie under the stars. Movie of the evening, "Grease". Just like being at the drive in. Great fun. Keep up the good work H.F Park District. You rock!

The kids were playing flag football, parents & coaches as numerous as the kids, other people walking for exercise, the lovely building was open, the washroom sparkling. A perfect Fall day to amble around Irwin.

My neighbor park love this place!!

This is a clean well kept, thus far a safe place to bring your children to vent, play, bring a snack there picnic tables a baseball diamond it's just a clean large play room with grass and benches for the adults.

The park has seen some wear and tear and is somewhat small. But a decent park overall.

Peaceful park

Irwin park is a good place to go to hang out and rest MOST of the time. There will be teenagers there disturbing the peace some of the time which is the only problem
