Put in an order over the phone and they said two pizzas would be ready in about 25-30 minutes. Normal. Show up in 25 minutes they say "let me see" on that order and am told a few more minutes. No Problem. Charged my card and then made me stand there for 30 minutes without an update or either bothering to acknowledge me. Wife circling the block in the car. I wave someone down because surly it is done now..."oh yes we are still working on it". However, since you can see into the kitchen I see the server I talked to walk my ticket up to the kitchen. Turns out my ticket had been laying around ignored the whole time. So an hour after placing the order and 35 minutes after waiting in store they were just starting to make the order. Any apologies? No. An offer of a discount? Nope. The chief apologized since he just saw the ticket. The service staff, nothing. If you like your 25+ dollar pizza to come with incompetence and unprofessionalism, then you should go to this 25+ dollar pizza joint. If not, there are many other options.

The bartenders were so kind on a very busy night. Props to them for getting so much done and being calm with every customer. We loved our pizzas as well! The atmosphere is pretty fun. Lots of people ordered takeout pizzas throughout the night. (Only sad part is they don’t have ranch) My husband loved the whiskey ginger drink!

1 and a half hours waiting for one pizza for one person. Food is great, but at this stage of hunger anything will taste good. It’s too bad that it takes this long! Will definitely consider alternate pizza places Next time like Smoking Oak with similar pizza quality and normal wait times.

Good pizza and service. Why 3 star review? I don't like to be deceived into paying for your employee benefits. Ask me, but don't try to slide that fee onto my receipt without any sort of communication. It's a good thing what you are doing but please ask first.

Great service cold beer and hot pizza!!! This little spot in Broomfield hits the spot!! A perfect spot for a quick bite and beer before an event at the First Bank Center in Broomfield. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the happy hour specials are amazing!!! Protos is going to be our new hang out before shows or events now!!! Also there is plenty of parking in the parking garage!!!

This pizza place is a hidden gem! Every time we eat here I am surprised that there is not a line out the door! We absolutely love the Low Rider pizza! The service is great and the pizza is hot and delicious! Worth the trip every time!

Good food, but probably a little too expensive for the quality. The salad was bland, the pizza was just slightly above average (and the pineapple was clearly canned), but the panini was good. Decent service, the waitstaff was trying their best but were clearly overwhelmed. Waited a very long time in between check-ins and had to ask more than once for multiple things. They didn’t ask how we wanted the check split, nor offered a dessert menu, even though we waited at least 15 minutes after we were done eating to get the check. Place seems fairly mismanaged. Seemingly had just one or two servers for a Sunday night in which they were pretty busy, and ended up running out of cheese and had to turn people away. The owner can claim that they don’t “compromise on ingredients” as an excuse for a pizza place running out of cheese, but I’m not buying it. The cheese wasn’t special, none of the ingredients were (see previous comment regarding the pineapple). Had eaten at Cosmo’s for the first time the night before, and that place crushed this one.

By far the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Every bite was interesting, creamy but light. The lady fingers were perfect. Perfect bite was with the chocolate covered espresso bean. HIGHLY recommend. The pizza is amazing, my wife had an Italian soda with vodka and it was perfectly balanced. Atomsphere and customer service is 10/10.

Just what the doctor ordered! Fresh and simple pizza and salad in a chill environment. Have we had ‘better’ pizza? Yes. But this pizza is good enough to call it a day in Colorado, go back to our nearby hotel, and feel good about our choice. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful- 5 stars for them:)

Best pizza. Enough said. Just go I'm honestly disappointed if you haven't eaten here yet. What a sad and depressing thought. You have never experienced the overwhelming amount of deliciousness coming from this pizza, and that's just sad. So instead of being sad that you haven't had real or good pizza just come here and eat some. You're welcome in advance. Congratulations on discovering your new favorite restaurant.

The quick. Good. Pizza. 🤘🏻 My kids and I needed dinner and Proto’s popped up on Google. I was sold with the LGBTQ+ badge. A quick phone call to check on gluten free crust, and we were there. My kids loved the Traditional with extra sauce. My gluten free with pepperoni and mushrooms was fabulous. Ash was totally right about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too. The music was amazing! 10/10 for sure.

Manager was super nice. Took time explaining options and was friendly. This the crust pizza and salad were not perfect, but I would go back again. I ordered Atomic pizza and Capri salad. I took it home and finished baking it at home which was really easy. I requested two items be taken off salad and they were and added mushrooms and bell peppers on the salad and only got peppers. I asked for extra sauce and they forgot to send it home with me. The pizza was a little dry not enough sauce. The pizza had too many chili pepper flakes and ithe pizza was too hot. We enjoyed the sausage and pepperoni. Good flavor. I like all the fresh ingredients. If we had eaten in, I could have gotten more sauce. I love pizza. This was better than many places up north. It wasn't greasy. I think the advantages outweigh the cons. I would recommend it. I recommend not putting on chilli flakes or a different pizza. There are many choices. My lips are still burning. Had red wine while I waited. It was pretty good. I am sure I will go again, just will order differently.

We enjoyed our pizza at Proto's, we got a margarita and the low rider, super tasty, whole restaurant smells fabulous once you walk in. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the cocktail list. We were looking for a relaxing dinner but there was an intoxicated gentleman at the bar who kept talking to us the whole time, like the entire time that we were there, all through our dinner. Bar staff/staff should control that better. We'll be back though.

The pizza was AMAZING!!!! We got the Proto pie. The crust, the cheese and sausage were all quality. Great place to hang out and get some food before your event. The stuff was very friendly. I'll be going back even if I don't have an event to go to.

Delicious pizza and drinks, especially if you're visiting 1st Bank Center or staying at the Aloft Broomfield. Tried the Atomic pizza and the Ginger Spritz

Delicious pizza that hit the spot! Ordered takeout and when we arrived wish we would have just decided to stay as the vibe of the place was the relaxing mood that we were wanting at the time. Since we had other plans we couldn't stay but next time for sure! The pizza was very flavorful and generously loaded with toppings. Staff was friendly when came in to pick up takeout order and the timing was on point.

We had a delightful early evening meal at Proto's. The server was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. The pizza was delish with a perfect thin crust. It was a little pricey but certainly worth an occasional splurge. A nice atmosphere with full bar.

Great pizza pie. Thin crust. Lots of choices plus build your own pie. Plenty of seating. Service was excellent. Great place for family or friends. Casual place for locals to gather.

There are two reasons for a five star review here… one is that the pizza, very much the style you find in Italy, and salads are delicious! The second is the ambience. Tucked away in the Avista development it has a beautiful patio within a park like setting.

My go-to pizza place! Ingredients are high quality, and the pizzas are absolutely delicious. The staff are always friendly and amazing, even when they are in a rush. Rotating seasonal salad is always tasty. Overall love this place!

Wow! I came through the door with a welcomed smile to greet me and fast seating. The server was very friendly, and made our stay so enjoyable. The staff here is all smiley, positive, and caring. I'd come back a thousand times more just to be around the staff. Also, pizza is out of this world! Thank you Proto's Pizza for an epic visit! I'll be back!

We really enjoyed the toppings and experience. Staff was super friendly and taste was on point. Highly recommend branching out to try their kraut pizza, will definitely be coming back to try more flavors. For crust aficionados, the crust was more Sicilian flat and not overly thick, but also not fluffy. Personally enjoyed the balance.

No complaints about Protos. I've been to several of their locations and the pizza and cocktails are always great!
