I have been coming here for the past five years now. Highbank and Acorn are the lakes I try to fish depending on if there’s a match on, best to call and check. Toilets on site are good, there’s a box to post your payment and all nets must be dipped, there is a full list of rules on their website. The pegs are maintained and a decent size. Bins are provided. I highly recommended a visit.

My boyfriend does lots of fishing as you can probably see in the photos. It's really nice there. Its a big lake and the pegs are quite private. It's kept really clean and there is no rubbish. The gates get locked at 8. The only thing is really say bad is the ducks drive me mental there! But that can't really be helped. It's definetly worth a trip.

Little gem so close to York. Great lake for your day out fishing. Usually busy over the weekend, but you will always find a place for yourself. Plenty of carp on all of the lakes. My personal favourite is the Horseshoe Lake - good mix of carp and silver. Highly recommended going for a day. Day license will set you back £8.

Excellent fishing lakes. Very well stocked. Reasonable price. Small caravan site with electric. Basic toilet and shower facilities. We used our own in the caravan.

Cracking place, well looked after. fished it for 1st time today in a match on Acorn, it's brilliantly stocked with good parking. Look forward to my next visit

I've had 2 good day fishing this week, first day over 200lb of fish 2nd day over 100lb On High Bank. All on pellets and paste. I would Highley recommend to come fishing here at Rakey Lakes

Spent the day with my Dad and Partner.. gorgeous little lake filled with a good variety of fish.. Dad had around 40 fish in total - one very happy Dad 😀

Lovely place easy access easy to book quiet peaceful I'm definitely going back.. I struggle with parkinsons and thanks to the access made easier I'm back fishing again...now I need to land a big fish 🐠

Coarse lakes, carp mainly. Plenty of pegs, some matches occasionally. Scenic venue.

Fished on highbank pond on a red hot day and it was clearly well stock with nice carp. Would definitely recommend

This place is very well looked after and very nicely stocked with some big fish. 1st ever visit this week and would definitely recommend to friends and family and would definitely go fish here again happily.

Fantastic place to fish, i love coming here and will miss not been able to fish here after August due to moving to the East coast. But can never stop catching every time, prawns and spam are definitely the best baits for me, thanks to Raker lakes for providing amazing fishing!!!!!!!
