Excellent nursing and PRO! At the entrance the service was immediate,providing wheelchair and help. The rooms were well furnished, cleaned daily, and the linens were changed with fresh ones.The doctors are efficient , sincere and the best in Ekm. A big thanks to the Specialist Doctors Team. The highlight of this hospital is being a NO VISITORS HOSPITAL!!!

The hospital is not maintained well. Though the hospital is big, you will feel uncomfortable. They way the buildings are designed is very congested. There is no parking slot, the bikes can be parked outside the hospital. Remember, if you are coming by car, you will have to park outside somewhere far from the hospital. The rooms and wards are not good, they don't clean it properly it seems. Overall it is not upto mark. Not recommended.

Irresponsible set of people are sitting at the reception, I said to one lady about my concern, but the other lady who sits next to her is not bothered and was busy continuing with their own conversation. Learn to value the patients.

I am very happy with my experience in the hospital during TUERP surgery carried out last month. Dr. R.Vijayan is amazing, serious, strict, very much dedicated and responsible as we experienced. My father have had an accident in 2019. He admitted in a well known hospital at kollam district. But the treatment wasn't proper way. So that his leg become infected very badly. So we approached Specialists' hospital eranakulam. Within a month his leg become normal condition. We thanks to the doctor and hospital management.

The reception staff named "Lovely" is very arrogant to the visitors who have come to just enquiry about doctors OP timings. We underwent a lipoma surgery at the hospital and we experienced very cooperative doctors and supporting staff , from nurses to cleaning personnel to the security staff, everyone extended a warmth we would never forget. Usual hindrances in settling bills at other hospitals was also not experienced here.From admission till discharge we are happy with the services offered to us.

More than a decade I have been visiting Specialist Hospital, mostly accompanying relatives and friends for consultations, and for self too. Their different departments are headed by highly qualified and experienced Doctors and assisted by very able nursing and documentation personnel. Appointments are done in a professional way. The secretary’s of the lead consultant are very efficient and they handle pressure very cooly. I will not hesitate to add the efficiency of Ms. Jinsy the executive assistant of Dr R. Vijayan the Urologist whom I consult. She is always helpful. Dr Vijayan I don’t to vouch for his professionalism. He has very deep knowledge in the subject and has presented many papers in national and international conferences. Let he be blessed with many more years of active service bringing in relief to scores and scores of his patients Wishing all the best to Ms. Jinsey. Since the specialist hospital was build small and later extended on-site it has limited space. It’s not at all a pleasant experience waiting in corridors. It’s unhealthy too. I would like to thank Dr Sabin Viswanath and the whole knee replacement team about the excellent care my father received in Specialist Hospital. My father, 67yr old, had both his knees replaced by Dr Sabin and was discharged from hospital much sooner than we were expecting. My father is extremely happy with the change in the quality of his life, and within 2 months he is now walking half an hour every day. The hospital stay was hassle free and there was a personal touch to the whole process. I can say that the care received by my father was excellent with an added personal touch.

Its a nice experience with specialist hospital. I was admitted for a small surgery for my left leg due to bone fracture. I have not been to any hospital very much but recently I had to be there and which was Specialists Hospital, Near North Railway. The narrow corridor makes little scary though the faculty is patient friendly. Had undergone surgery under guidance of Dr. Rajappan and Dr. Guild (the real artists) and followed by rehab under guidance of Dr. Rajeev S(a very positive man). I have not forgot the Physiotherapy dept to whom I have great respect & sincere thanks for the personal care till exit and I am 100% satisfied. I would definitely recommend anyone, esp trauma cases and because this hospital still remain unknown to many of the people out here.😊

May be good doctors are available here but the place is too congested to move around. The isolation room and the first floor is a mess.The insurance patient think twice before going there for admission their rule are different, you get back your advance at the time of admission after 2 or 3 month when hospital get money from insurance company, that too even if the amount is approved by the insurance. Safe play by hospital management. Hope the concerned insurance company knows about this adjustment of the hospital.

*This rating for my last visit. I had taken appointment for Thursday(14th) via Telephone. I asked is it OK to take / do they provide booster dose before completing 9 months after 2nd dose of covid vaccine(Travelling to abroad). And they said they checked and it is OK. But they didn't call me on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday (they said they need minimum 10 people to start vaccination for a day).On Monday, They called me and appointment given for vaccination. I travelled 36 km one side to the hospital and when I reached there, they made me wait for approximately 40 minutes for nothing. Then they sent me to vaccination centre. When I went to the counter they said you can't take booster dose because I don't completed 9 months after my 2nd dose. If they checked it properly I could save my time and money. That was a worst exp.

Extremely satisfied and grateful for the treatment received for my father from Dr. Vijayan sir and his team, excellent care from all nursing staff and PRO Entire treatment was significantly more affordable than we had anticipated. ***Poor customer service *** Following my consultation with the Orthopedic doctor, I connected with Ortho PRO to arrange for the delivery of my X-rays via email. They assured me that I would receive the X-ray report in my email inbox by June 26, 2023. However, from that day until September 18, I made numerous attempts to follow up through both email and phone, but to no avail. In an attempt to address this issue, on September 18, 2023, I sent a registered letter to the hospital director, Dr. K.R. Rajappan, explaining all of my concerns. Regrettably, I have received no response to date, and it appears that there is little interest in providing excellent customer service at this establishment.

My father received a diagnosis of a bladder tumor and our physician referred us to Dr. Vijayan, Urologist, at the Specialists Hospital. Next day I took an appointment and consulted Dr.Vijayan with all the medical records. He looked to me like a very reserved person initially, went through all the records one by one without any hurry and explained to me the condition and the steps forward. Doctor initially explained everything at a high level but since I am a person who can understand the medical conditions atleast one level deep with the medical terms, I asked more questions. Doctor very patiently explained to me with further details, which not may doctors would do. I felt confident of him in few minutes and decided to do the procedure there. Got admitted on a Wednesday, all necessary checks and pre-surgery assessments by the physician, cardio team, and anesthetist were conducted. The surgery took place on Thursday and went smoothly. Following the surgery, my father spent a night in the ICU, and the next day, he was moved to the room. His recovery progressed remarkably well, and by Monday, he was discharged. Can’t stop mentioning this, not just the doctor, the whole team of nurses, staff were very caring and receptive. We could always see a pleasant smile on almost every face which many times we find to be lacking with the hospital staff elsewhere. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the cost of the surgery, including a five-day stay in a comfortable room with AC and TV, turned out to be significantly more affordable than we had anticipated. Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Vijayan, his team, and the entire Specialists Hospital staff for their outstanding care and service.

Hospital is one of best with better treatment... unfortunately the front office service is too bad... they dont pay any respect to visitors.. front office staff as well as the security thinks they are the superiors in charge who runs the hospital.. too bad performance which ruins the reputation of hospital and the visitor do experience an unpleasant time.. I have been to this hospital three times to attend surgeries of my dad and two times so far to undergo (three) surgeries. Took my sister here today after she feel from stairs. As she was is intense pain, we took her to the emergency room and was surprised how quickly we were able to consult an orthopedic surgeon and got the xray done and further treatments suggested. Nurses, security staff and the xray technicians all were very helpful and supportive. There was never a moment of delay or confusion. Their promptness made me write this review along with another review for the bad experience i faced at the ER of a prominent hospital at Kochi.

Dr. Jayakumar’s rhinoplastic surgery was brilliantly executed with precision and subtlety. It surpassed my expectations. All assistants and nurses are very friendly and caring, a pleasure to deal with. But what I would expect in a ‘deluxe room’ is at least having a shower head instead of a plastic bucket shower. This should be installed.

Best shoulder surgeon in Kochi We went to see doctor for my husband shoulder injury while playing badminton and got injured badly. After that activities of shoulder was so painful and sleep was completely disturbed for him after 3 days we went to see doctor were he suggested to take medication rest and do some exercises and after that now he is completely free from pain and activities are restored. A very good hospital for a common man.This hospital is headed by Dr. Rajappan ,one of most noblest and professional doctor with “Medical Ethics” .Excellent for trauma care as well as other departments.You can avail service of a team of excellent doctors.Dr Jayakumar,Vijayan,Sabin,Cherian,Senthil ,Sai ram –naming a few among gem doctors present in this hospital.Due to covid situation ,some restrictions are there for our own safety,which you may feel a little bad and we may get frustrated with front office.Parking is an issue ,as it is in the heart of the city.You may park vehicle in paramara road or railway station parking.Hospital is following 100% paper less medical record system .Doctors can track our records efficiently with least time due to this IT implementation. Nursing care is excellent and we feel like our relatives are caring us. Hospital seems to be having old building, but cleanliness and housekeeping is superb. Only suggestion is to improve time keeping for appointment.

We are visited their for an emergency injection but the duty doctor and staffs are rejected based on silly reasons. They are tolled that, they will note take injection with out treatment. But at that time we have reference and treatment file certified from a famous gynecologist Mr. Sam - Government medical college, Thycaud, trivandrum. The hospital only worked for money. I have had 3 surgeries at Specislists in the last 3 years -- and all 3 have gone extremely smoothly, with no complications, no infections. Two were done by Dr.Vijayan, and one by Dr.Jaikumar.....and these two gentlemen are known to be geniuses who are the best in their respective areas. Post-op nursing care is also outstanding with all the nursing staff being very caring and very efficient. Specialists is also extremely reasonable with their costs and it is one of the most affordable hospitals in Cochin. However, do not expect luxury spaces or services from the hospital, as the physical infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired, including food services. Their Admin and PR services were also excellent, with staff being very helpful with billing and appointments. I choose hospitals for the excellence of their doctors. And that is the reason I chose Specialists.
