👍👍 One of the very best German restaurant in town that I have ever tried. The dishes were made my German chef and they were tasty. The staff was intern and they seems not so professional but friendly. They also have good western breads. Highly recommend! People often mention German, staff, good, restaurant, great, dishes,

Nürnberger sausage with kraut and mashed potato. so amazing taste. Authentic German food. Very friendly staff. The price is much better than other German restaurants in D1. They change menu every once in a while for their staff to learn new German recipes. Double fromage is good, 35k and less sweet, I really enjoy it. Will come back for more.

It's a school and restaurant operated by a charity organization for socially disadvantaged students. I had pumpkin soup and sauteed salmon with cream sauce. The soup was beautifully presented with cream and tasted great. The salmon was fresh too. Staff/students were working hard and attentive. They have some tables in a small yard, so if it's a sunny day, it would be great to dine outside.

If there was an option to give 10 stars I would glady give 10 stars. I don't know where to start. The setting is romantic, the food is just out of this world. The service is probably the best I have ever experienced and I have eaten in the best restaurants in London, Milan, Venice, New York to name but a few. The menu is very reasonably priced and the high point for me is the Michelin star quality food served here. The staff went above and beyond to look after me and my partner and they gladly posed for photographs afterwards. Without doubt the best restaurant in Vietnam. I can't speak highly enough of this place. The staff are locals trained by a fantastic German chef and it's unusual to experience politeful happy staff in Saigon but this place nailed it. I will go back for my wedding 100% Shout out to the staff for providing a memorable night. 10 out of 10 😍

Some of the best Western (specifically German style) food located in Bình Thạnh district. Found in the middle of a 100% Vietnamese neighborhood, Maisen Bistro has a mixture of Vietnamese and Western dishes. They train high end cooks here and the prices are very affordable for high quality food. Don’t leave this restaurant without ordering the Salmon Bruschetta!!! 😎

The food is OK at decent price. And here is my problem: my friend wanted to order some more fresh vegetables like lettuce and cucumbers to eat with her noodles, we are OK to pay more. However, the staff insisted that they had no more fresh veggies, but if we ordered salad, they would have. So they just didn't want us to have some fresh veggies unless we ordered what they tailored in the menu. The same happened with chili. My friend wanted some more chili and the staff said that their kitchen said there is no more chili in the kitchen, so that was the designated amount of chili we were allowed to have. I know this restaurant is for training and I came with an opening perspective that there would be something that is not perfect yet. Yet, I left with a skeptical mind that if I would ever return.

We had the garlic bread, German pasta and German sausages as well as smoothies. The food was great and the service even better. We nearly didn't go in because it was empty but very glad we did. Recommend to anyone looking for clean delicious food, both western and Vietnamese at reasonable prices.

It’s just opposite to my home and it’s run by a Catholic organisation of Don Bosco which provide training for the poor youth on catering and hospitality. As a Catholic I came there to support it and discovered the food is delicious and fairly cheap. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and a pumpkin soup for a late lunch. The pumpkin is so good and creamy and I like their presentation of the music note drawing on it. I will come back and try other German dishes next time. The bakery is good as well, I bought a load of bread for takeaway and it’s real European style bread hardly found in Vietnam.

Most staffs here are intern students who will work in restaurant / food services, so I would like to give an honest review. I ordered duck egg rolls as appetizer, and an order has 5 pieces but barely finished 3 due to its greasy. The taste is also very average; nothing special at all. My main course is ribeye. The steak itself is too chewy due to its quality, but thumb up for the chef for not overcooked it. The steak sauce is awesome! Im very happy with my mashed potato. Although, my broccoli was overcooked, it tasted good. Overall, I would like to give 2.5 to 3/5 for food, but Im extremely happy with the staffs; my waitress was absolutely nice! I recommend this restaurant to support these trainees.

Operated by trainees, this restaurant is worth a try, not only to support them but also to enjoy a nice meal with family in a pleasant setup. We ordered German dishes like curry sausage and homemade egg pasta with fried bacon. Next time we may try Vietnamese dishes. Decent price. Car parking available.

Quality food for a reasonable price. The staff are mostly interns but they can communicate basic English and the service was speedy and the food is great! I will definitely come back.

Waited 45 minutes for the dishes to arrive... Waitresses said the restaurant was busy even though we came at a later time people usually have lunch and only 40-50% of the tables were full. Ordered the fish and chips, taste and seasoning was good but a part of the fish was slightly underdone and not opaque. The portion of the fries could be bigger.

A wonderful place with young people eager to learn and to serve. By visiting this place you are not only able to get a descent meal at a very good price but also help the unfortunate. Please come and visit. You will not be disappointed.

Sad to say because it’s for a good cause, but the food here is more than average. Tasteless and no flavor. And too expensive for what you get.

I visited Maisen bistro a few times recently. A great place to dine and have an intimate talk. The space is very clean, well-arranged and with great service. Reasonable prices with a fine dining standard. A decent meal for two can be at least 250k. I especially enjoy outdoor space under their Bodhi tree. You can also order their freshly made breads to eat at table or bring home. It is a good place to have a business meeting as well as a date. Highly recommended!
