Good halal food, we ordered beef noodle, fresh spring roll, mango smoothie, avocado smoothie, all taste delicious; They also have some kind of chili paste for its beef noodle and taste very good when combined which add more spice flavor into the beef noodle broth, as the broth itself taste little sweet. The service also good, when we arrived, the place is full but they immediately clean up the table which a customer just finished. Place itself a little bit small, but they help us to offer prayer room which is nice. I recommend this halal restaurant in Saigon.

I roamed the country for a bit of halal loving for my tummy and was not disappointed by The Daun Restaurant. The beef Bun Bo blew my mind and the Nasi Goreng was delightful. Offering up an array of dishes from Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam the menu is designed to offer even the most fussy munchers amongst us something to tickle their taste buds with. Give it a try lest you be foolish.

I've been traveling Vietnam from Hanoi looking for good halal Vietnamise food and this is so far the best. The spicy beef Pho was excellent. The owner is very friendly. Place could do with some new painting as it looks a bit dirty. But the food was excellent and prices reasonable.

2 of us ordered Nasi Lemak + Auam Penyeh + 3 curry puffs for lunch. We agree that the foods were normally done. But is a bit pricy for such a preparation.

Why do I add this photo? Because this is how it tasted when I compare it with the price! Did I eat Pho before? Yes! In Chau Doc I ate a lot of Pho which was cooked by Cham people! 1/3 of price and 3 times more delicious! Chicken was also so so. Ambiance is not that good! So what's good about this place? Two things only: Location Halal certificate I don't recommend this place to anyone as I care for deliciousness a lot!!!

Ate here twice during a recent visit to HCMC. The place serves halal Vietnamese fare as well as Singaporean and Malaysian dishes. We came for the pho and it did not disappoint. Can get crowded at lunch. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable.

I've tried many halal joints in Saigon and I must say that I was the most impressed by this one. I found The Daun to be not only the best in terms of taste but the ingredients they used were also very fresh. The bun bo was a true delicacy! The staff were professional and the owner really makes you feel welcomed . Needless to say, I came back many times during my trip in Saigon :)

Halal food options for Muslim travellers. Got myself some Vietnamese noodles. It was spicy and I love it. Friendly manager/owner. They also serve Malaysian/Singaporean cuisines. Tried the Roti John. I like that it is more healthy than the ones i always eat in Malaysia :D Card payment did not work that day but I think they do accept card. Need to confirm again.

This is a good and clean halal restaurant in Ho Chi Minh. The owner is a muslim. They deliver to your hotel for a small fee. Try the traditional vietnamese food especially the beef Pho, spring rolls and Banh Mi.

Came here on last Sept 2023, one of the many halal restaurant near my hotel. Their service was good altough they just speak a simple english but our communication was good tough. For sure I will come again if I visit Saigon in next trip.

This shop definitely better than Jami***. The cashier/waiter are more friendly. And the food is better too. Except that here they dont have Banh Mi.

I went to The Daun on day 1, I arrived in HCMC. We made the right decision by choosing this restaurant for dinner. It's Halal certified, and they served several dishes of the authentic Vietnamese and Malaysian. The taste was above expectation, made from fresh ingredients, and the beef was juicy & tender. The restaurant environment overall was good and clean.

Spent 1 night for transit in Ho Chi Minh and searching for halal restaurant near center of the city. The place is in a shophouse and has limited space, but by the time I came it's empty and convenient. Ordered pho, bahn mi and viet ice coffee. The pho taste fair with thick broth, bahn mi is full with meat, and the viet coffee is absolutely my personal fave with a sweet milky taste and strong coffee.

Gorgeous little restaurant in Ho Chi Minh. The owner is so friendly and lovely. The food is DELICIOUS! Overall great experience, highly recommend coming here. Make sure you try the Bun Cha Gio, it was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely be coming back here one day.

Good food and an extraordinary service. Food from differents countries, so it's up to you. One of the best places in district 1. Highly recommended.

This place was DELCIOUS. Quaint, chill, and very friendly. The menu includes Vietnamese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Japanese as well, but we were just on the hunt for some pork-free Vietnamese and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Bun Bo noodle soup and it was the best I’ve had so far. Wish this wasn’t my last day in HCMC because I’d definitely be back.

Very delicious halal Vietnamese food at affordable prices. You can even find Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine in the menu. Small cosy place. It's not too difficult to find it, just a walking distance from the main Ben Thanh market entrance. Highly recommended!

The food is so sad. No good at all. Very pricey. Can get better food at other halal restaurant. They charged me 7% because ordered less than 200k vnd. Dont come! Go somewhere else please.

(Halal and near Ben thanh market) First time trying Banh mi and I love it! I intended to eat it hours later, but I couldn’t resist the smell and ended up devouring it.

We were so hungry when we found the restaurant still open after 11+... you can get halal Vietnam dishes with some Singapore dishes. We tabao the roti john and ate for breakfast next day! It was sedaplicious!

The food is excellent here. I had the beef pho. The only real downside is that the prices of the food are so much more than the food on the street. Of course you're paying the extra for the halal food, but it is a little bit hard to see the difference in the prices. That being said the food is delicious. I would eat there again. They thank you have excellent Wi-Fi available at the restaurant.

Open from 11am to 10pm, we had lunch at The Daun, greeted by it's friendly owner - a gentleman who has been in Vietnam for over 11 years! We were also introduced to his kids who were happy to socialise with our group. Had a family set meal for four, loved the food which has an authentic Vietnamese look and feel and most importantly, it is a Halal-endorsed establishment. Definitely adding The Daun to our itinerary when we're back for another trip.

My favourite restaurant in Saigon. The staff and owner are so friendly. I had the nasi ayam penyet and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend!

Worth to try. First amazing impression is how friendly one staff was! Very welcoming and friendly. Second, me and my friends are in love with their fried spring rolls. We’ve tried from several halal restaurants and The Daun’s spring rolls unbeatable 🫶🏻 we came back second time to takeaway their fried spring rolls before catching our flight.

Was walking to my favourite pho restaurant and stumbled upon this shop. It’s halal and owned by Singaporean Malays so I decided to try it out. Ordered the beef pho and it’s easily the best pho I’ve had (I’ve been around Vietnam and tried many) and it’s my new favourite pho restaurant. They take 4 hours daily just to cook the broth! Owner is friendly too and made sure everything was good with you. Very comfortable and quaint place to dine at. Highly recommended!

Authentic beef pho, but decent spring rolls. Halal.

We went there during lunar new year. Service was friendly and professional. Liked the Vietnamese food more than in way more expensive places we visited during our stay in Saigon. Sadly noodles of the mee goreng were soggy and the Japanese dishes tasteless. If you stick with the Vietnamese dishes I would recommend the place.

tasty, authentic, halal Vietnamese food! my friends and I returned to this restaurant frequently throughout our stay in Saigon as, after exploring, it had what we felt was the best halal Vietnamese food there. there were other SEAsian cuisines as well served here. the food took some time to arrive, but not unlike what is a typical waiting time across the country anyway. prices are fixed and reasonable. would recommend their pho, banh mi and egg coffee. a small, quaint shop just a stone's throw away from the Ben Thanh/Yersin stretch, so it was convenient for touristing. air conditioned, which was nice in the hot weather. the staff were nice and warm, and the manager/owner struck a conversation with us when he saw us for the first time there. they were also so kind as to share with us how to make egg coffee! I suppose another important addition is that it is a reliable establishment. Daun was open in the mornings to the evenings on most (if not all?) days, whereas this may not be the case for some halal restaurants.

Our first night on HCMC and we came across this place. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and we both had our first try of a Bún bò which did not disappoint! Very tasty and would come back again.

One of the halal options in Saigon. The pho is a must try, together with the homemade sambal.

This was the first restaurant we visited when we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. The experience was non typical, the workers were able to speak Bahasa Melayu (they were locals who self taught themselves to speak Bahasa). Our food was fulfilling but I must say almost all the halal eateries in HCMC offered the same rate so I couldn't really suggest you to go here if you are looking for cheaper eateries. The place could fit small number of people so don't bother coming if you come with all your 2 generation family members.

Dinner with the family. The food was excellent, nice ambience and good price. The Singaporean boss and his family provided excellent service. All of us were very satisfied after a long day of shopping.

Tucked away along a row of shophouses is this unassuming halal restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese, Malaysian and Singaporean fare. Good food at really decent prices, and friendly service staff. We had beef pho, spicy beef pho and a Vietnamese pancake. Everything was good. The ginger mint tea was really refreshing. Looking forward to going back for breakfast tomorrow. 😋

Pros: 1. Location a walking distance from ben tanh market 2. The food taste were very delicious 3. Halal Cons: 1. Place were not big, arround 5 table on 1st floor, and some on the 2nd floor. 2. A little bit pricey for asian or melayu food.
