We had one of the best Falafels in Switzerland. It was crispy, just right amount of lightness and extremely flavourful. The Kabasa rice was amazing - highly recommended

Absolutely delighted with my lunch experience at Yafa Restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. The food was simply outstanding, showcasing the true essence of palestinian cuisine with every bite. From the cozy ambiance to the traditional decor, every aspect of the restaurant exuded oriental charm and heritage.

This place truly surprised me and exceeded my expectations. The falafel was phenomenal, lentil soup was tasty and balanced, hummus was creamy and delicious, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The owners were quite warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back to Yafa!!

We were strolling through Thun and decided to stop for lunch at Yafa and it was a total success, both the food is incredible and the service of the staff phenomenal. It certainly transports you to the Middle East. Highly recommended and we will be back. Thank you so much!

We have been travelling in Germany and Switzerland for a couple of weeks. We were seeking a rice meal and found this place, coming off from Lake Thun. The food was delicious. The rice was so fluffy and well-cooked. The chicken is most memorable for me. The ambience was comfortable. The waitress was very polite and welcoming. I would recommend you come eat here if you are ever nearby.

Where do I even start? I was simply disappointed. Based on the reviews and the overall rating, this place is supposed to be one of the best in town, even in all of Switzerland. But once on-site, it fell far short of expectations, whether in terms of food, atmosphere, or ambiance. The food was far from good, whether it was the cooking itself or the presentation of the dishes. The service was mediocre as well—they brought the wrong side dish, and the plating was poorly done, the mayonnaise was in the form of snack bars as you can see in the photos. To top it all off, the prices were comparable to, if not higher than, what you’d find in Zurich (no budget concerns, but a little expensive comparing it with the surroundings) For context, starters were priced between 12-15 CHF, main courses ranged from 30-45 CHF, and sandwiches were between 13-24 CHF, depending on the menu. You can find much better restaurants that are more affordable just across in Interlaken (cheaper and good quality). So, if you have the option, I’d recommend skipping this place altogether.
