We spent a few days in Oberhofen and took the bus 15 minutes into Thun for dinner most nights and let me tell you…this place did not disappoint. We started our dinner off with the Caprese Salad to share and then my husband ordered the penne and I ordered the Lasagna. When I tell you that my children’s children will hear about that lasagna. Everything was perfect and the servers kind. Thank you Beau Rivage for everything!

I was there for lunch on a Sunday. The pizza was delicious! The dough was well cooked and the sauce was simply delicious 😊 I can say for sure that here you can have truly Italian cousine. The waiters were nice and kind. The place is very nicely decorated and it is in general very pleasant. Being the weekend there were a few birthdays being celebrated, but it was not a bother at all. The prices are also very fair for Switzerland. An unexpected gem in Thun! Highly recommend.

I accidentally discovered this restaurant through google maps, and I don't regret it for a second! By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is outstanding, pizza with the thinnest and crunchiest dough, full of quality cheese, tomato sauce perfect, lasagna baked in the oven with a lot of cheese, tiramisu superb, burrata outstanding, everything in place! In addition to all this, the staff is superb, I have never seen this approach to guests before. They know their regular guests by name, they know the orders, they answer everyone politely and ask the guests if everything is okay several times, and you can see that they do it sincerely, not foiled because they have to. Great experience and I look forward to coming back from Serbia here again!

For a tourist area, this restaurant was surprisingly good. The service was friendly and pleasant, with a good range of food at reasonable prices. I’d be happy to return—no complaints!

Simply outstanding. It’s like being in Italy, while in Switzerland. Despite not having any reservations available when I called the day of, they were able to accommodate me as a walk-in. Friendly staff, most of which are Italian. And the food was exceptional — perhaps the best Lasagna I’ve ever had. While Switzerland is generally very expensive, the prices here were quite reasonable for the area and quality. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

To begin with, we went in with no reservation and thankfully the restaurant had been able to seat us! We tried the margarita pizza which was amazing to say the least, the steak was tasty but the ravioli could have been better, the mixture did not go that well with the mixture of seafood on it. The tiramisu though was outstanding! I loved eating every single piece of the dessert!! The pricing is on the higher end, but this is expected given the dishes and atmosphere of the restaurant. Staff are also pleasant.

Excellent. Just excellent. The staff, the service, the attitude, the food - everything was at a high level. Friendliness, welcoming, desire to help with any query. The food was incredibly delicious. For a few hours we felt like we were back in Italy.

A great restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the river and the old town. The staff are very friendly and the food is very well prepared - traditional Italian cuisine, great pizza and attractive daily specials at lunchtime.
