Horrible experience. Dr. Lee was rude and not compassionate at all. As soon as I said I am not vaccinated he became rude and dismissive of my symptoms. I came to see him regarding an asthma problem and upper respiratory infection symptoms and he didn’t ask me a single question about my history of asthma or my symptoms. He only asked me why I haven’t been vaccinated and then proceeded to tell me all the reasons I need to get vaccinated. He was with me for a total of 2 minutes then left. I asked for a doctors note for today and tomorrow. The doctor told me that if I needed a note for tomorrow that I would have to come back in to be seen again. Mind you, I just waited 2 hours to be seen and paid a 50$ copay that he wants me to pay again the following day. He said I will feel better tomorrow but didn’t even ask me what I do for work or any questions about how I feel. Worst doctor experience I’ve ever had and I will never be back to this scam of a doctors office.

Horrible experience. 3.5- 4hour wait even though I checked in online 1hr before I showed up. (Only 2 people ahead of me in line) Nurse practitioner didn’t even bother to look at my throat or take a strep test. Came home to every strep symptom in the book. They did not care about patients health. Better off to go to a different urgent care or hospital in the area to get real patient care

Horrible experience. I'm pregnant have a tiny glass sliver in my foot. Walked in. Only 2 people ahead of me. 6 people came after they were seen ahead of me, finally got to me 3 hours later just to tell me they don't have an xray machine and they wouldn't go digging around in my foot without one...even though x-rays won't show a piece of glass and nothing is wrong with my bone. Then the doctor got in my face when I asked why the 6 people who walked after me were seen first, said I didn't see anyone before you. I asked for my $50 co-pay back, and it'll take up to 5-10 business before I get it. This was my first and last time going here. I suggest either just going to the ER or lee convenient care. The wait times are alot better and you'll actually get the care you need.

Best experience ever! I am on vacation and got sand deep in my eye. Worst pain ever. The doctor and staff were so amazing and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do. He was able to extract the grain of sand and save my vacation. Best urgent care experience I have ever had. Thank you!!!!!!

Typical rapid care place. Easy and convenient location. This seventy year old male had no problem checking in and the wait was under an hour. Intake nurse (I am assuming this) was pleasant and competent as was the doctor. No complaints at all. The night before I did check in with their website, filled all the paperwork that they requested, took pictures of license and insurance cards and told I was checked in successfully. I then received text saying I would be called when I could be seen. Woke up early this morning, ten am I called number, got headquarters somewhere, finally got local clinic. No record of me. Drove there and showed text, repeated paperwork. That’s why not five stars.

This was a terrible experience. After a 1 hour wait we were advised there was a ‘rush back’ and they would get to us as soon as possible. We waited another hour before we were called back to the exam room. I was diagnosed with influenza, which means I was , miserable. The cough, headaches and ear aches were terrible. They let us cool our heels in the exam room for 45 more minutes before the doctor came in for one minute and told me what I had. Wow! Had I realized I was going to have to wait three hours for a swab test, and a l minute exam, I would not have gone in. What a rotten, lousy experience. I understand waiting for a ‘Rush back’. But I have a real problem with leaving a miserable patient in the exam room for another hour after we’d already been waiting for 2+ hours.

Great clean place. Treated well. Wonderful doctor and staff. Diagnosed my symptoms with proper tests and medication. But do go prepared to wait an hour or more. They are busy and short staffed. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Be prepared to have $159 if your insurance deductible has not been met yet to pay up front at check in before they will see you, if you don't have it, they won't see you... I don't understand why they don't process their claims like any other urgent care or Dr office, submit the claim and get the patients portion of what's due and then collect payment... capture the persons card and give a courtesy email a few days before the patient portion of the payment is processed... If there was a Helix urgent care around this area I would use them like I use to.... to each their own I guess...

Wow, I highly recommend visiting MDNow Urgent Care in Harlem Heights. We had an incredible experience because of the staff that worked with us from the front desk (Jessica) to our nurse (Mikaela) and then our doctor (Dr. Barclay-Shell). Each person was professional and made sure to do a great job. These 3 are some of the best health care workers we have had the pleasure of working with in Florida. I came in due to a stingray slice on my heal. They got my back quickly, placed us in a room, gave us updates on timing, ask great questions and recorded all the information for records. After an XRay was completed and came back negative, stitching was recommend to close laceration. The stitching job completed and was excellent work. We soon left thereafter extremely grateful for our visit to this location. For reference, we are from Atlanta, Ga and needed to find a place just like this because it was a prayer answered.

Terrible experience. Only one patient before me, and took forever. They would not let my wife come with me to the examination room. [I could see this if COVID was rampant or they were busy seeing patients in the halls. The place was practically empty] no physician just a 'rent a Nurse Practitioner' from out of town, didn't even know where the closest pharmacy was. Misdiagnosed me and sent me to the local ED, where the physician, laughed out loud at Med Now's diagnosis. You would be better finding a Boy Scout with a first aid badge to help you. At least the scout would have a good attitude. [I've worked in clinical settings for almost 40 years. You want to avoid this one.]

I have used MD urgent care since I moved here from Chicago. I’m an RN and I love this place. They are professional , detailed oriented and on top of there game. From the PA to the LPN, to the receptionist working here! A great experience overall and each time I use them! Instead of going to the ER, this is where I go. I’ve also brought family members here on vacation to get minor treatment. They are advocates for their patients.😁

The lady at the counter was polite and direct about the services this branch can offer. I was in need of a quick check-up and a doctor's note and was in and out within an hour for an affordable price. This location is not a full-on doctor's office nor a hospital. As I was waiting to get called, a chatty agitated couple arrived. They wouldn't quit talking over the lady at the desk explaining what services they did and did not offer. After being vague and misleading, I heard the lady admit she was looking to increase dosage for a prescription she had through a doctor. The lady at the desk calmly explained why they couldn't help and immediately got yelled at by the man, who fortunately stormed out before causing more of a scene. It is apparent to me that many of the 1-star reviews on here are people rage-reviewing immediately after being rebuffed because A) they want a service this branch does not offer, or B) people are trying to use this location as a work-around to directions or prescriptions already provided to them by a doctor or hospital. Ignore those reviews. This location is solid. Next time I am in need of their services I will gladly return.

I will never go back, was diagnosed with a UTI and was told was going to send to lab to be cultured, I told doctor that I was hospitalized 1 1/2 months ago for 6 day for the same thing but I went into kidney failure, so was very concerned. So when the I didn’t hear from the dr the next day like I was told, I was on the phone with the office and was told they would call me back, and checking on web with the lab for the results, with the office not calling me back, nurse told me “oh sorry we were busy” I called the lab was told nothing was sent to them, it’s been a week and well they are tracking my culture is what the nurse said to me very rude. If you want you can wait, for the tracking, come in for another culture that will take at least 3 days, or go to the hospital it’s up to you!!!! I hope they don’t hold their breath waiting for me to come back!!!

Arrived at 8:15 AM and stood in line for 50 minutes just to check in. There were only five people in front of me. This check in system really needs to be corrected. Once I was checked in everything went smoothly. The tech was very nice and the doctor was terrific. He took the time that was needed to explain my issue and discuss the various prescription options I had. I would have give five stars except for the horrible check in system.

Subpar experience- prescription sent to wrong pharmacy & all pharmacies of this chain do not carry Paxlovid. Unable to get through to the clinic to send to another pharmacy- was hung up on after 7 minutes on hold. Both my friend & I tested Covid positive at home, but she tested negative in clinic. I'm in the medical field & the technique used by clinic staff for nasal stabbing was inadequate. I feel this is responsible for my friend's false negative. Declined to retest her to verify this. I'll not return to this urgent care...

The doctor was professional and helpful. Didn't find the office staff to be very communicate or professional however. Reception was on a personal call and made me wait to check in. But I was seen quickly once I got checked in so I'm giving 4 stars for the doctor and the speed of getting in.

The only downside was a 2.5 hour wait. You can't leave and come back. U just sit there. But the reception, nurse and doctor were great!

My wife and I visited this morning. She is pregnant and was feeling horrible but the people there made us feel better instantly. Doctor Sheryl was very kind to us. She understands how to respect her patients. Not only her but the nice lady with red braids as well as the receptionist. Thank you for such a lovely experience! We appreciate you

This was our second visit to MD. The first was for my husband and now for me. The staff is wonderful and really listens to you and they take time to address your needs. I can truly say this is the first time I got an injection that was absolutely painless. They also made suggestions for any over the counter meds that might help as well. We had such a positive experience when we went the first time for my husband that there was no doubt that we would go back there. They are our new clinic for when we are here.

My son and daughter were both sick and because we just moved to Florida we did not have a pediatrician. We took the kids to MD Urgent Care and were seen within 20 min. The Doctor was very thorough and kind. She diagnosed my son right away. The nurse or tech also did a great job- my daughter needed a Covid test to return to school and he was really great at explaining the procedure. I would come back again.

MD Now is a great place to go when you can’t get in to see your regular doctor. They are very nice and my wait wasn’t long. I met with Dr.Tiffani Magee and she is a great diagnostician with a lovely personality. I would highly recommend MD Now.

Janelle and Dr. Barclay-Shell are great! Provided great care, and made a bad situation seem tolerable! Do not recommend stepping on an oyster and needing stitches, but if you find yourself in that situation, these two will provide you great care with a smile! Thanks!

Dr.Barclay-Shell and staff are great. Mike at the Cape Coral location was very caring while doing x-rays on my ankle. Would highly recommend!

Excellent care! Wonderful prep from Janella, and she and Dr. Barclay-Shell were both efficient, quick to respond and were both genuinely concerned with me and my needs. I didn't wait more than 3 or 4 minutes. I am wonderfully pleased to have this kind of facility and expert care so close by.

Dr. Barclay-Shaw was caring and the office staff very accommodating when we brought our daughter in 15 minutes before closing on a Friday night! This is an exceptional Urgent Care office, and compassionate, caring health professionals.

The absolute nicest, friendliest staff I have ever come across at any urgent care (and I’ve been to a lot). Also, the fastest I’ve been in and out in any doctors office. The ladies there this morning were beyond amazing. I was half asleep so I didn’t get their names, but wow. Thank you so much for y’all’s help today!!!

Great place to go if you’re not feeling well! I didn’t have to wait long to be seen and felt that they explained everything very well and the nurse practitioner that I saw was outstanding! Very clean office as well.

I stepped on a small piece of glass. It superficially embedded in my right heal. I removed the glass but felt it was necessary to confirm it was out of my skin & I did not need antibiotics. Upon arrival, the front desk girl would not allow me to see there physician unless I had an X-ray. They did not have an X-ray tech available. What upset me was the lack of concern & compassion. I was told they were unable to help me. I left & drove to MedExpress where I was treated with respect & concern. The staff was excellent & my issue resolved.

Very good care. The receptionist was welcoming and very helpful. The medical assistant and Dr. Charles were professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. Am great full for the help and care I received. It is nice to know that there is good care available at this urgent care clinic.

  • 1/5 Shana D. 2 years ago on Google
We arrived 30 minutes before the clinic closed for a tiny cut (1/2" wide) on my daughter's knee that we could not get to stop bleeding. She knelt on a shard of glass on the floor by accident. We were concerned that there was still glass in her leg and that she would require 2-3 sutures. We had been told there would be an hour wait, we registered, and were about to pay the co-payment when the nurse came out and said the doctor had advised that it would be easier for us to go to the emergency department. It was simpler for them, not for us. At the emergency room, there was over a six-hour wait. This is why non-emergency situations clog up our "emergency" rooms. The entire experience was very disappointing.

No sense of urgency. I know times are crazy but they act like nothings going on. The doctor barely looked at me and didn’t even take my temperature 🤣🤣🤣

My son needed a quick sports physical. I made sure I had all the paperwork needed ahead of time which expedited the process. The wait wasn’t too long we were in and out in about an hour. Everyone was super friendly and thorough.

I was extremely unimpressed my their unprofessionalism and rudeness. We are on vacation and my 20 month old daughter is showing signs of an ear infection. I decided to try this urgent care as it was close to where we are staying. The UNMASKED nurse did not make us feel welcome. His actual words were "Why would you bring a baby here?" He claimed they didn't have the right sized tools to check her ears, even though their website says nothing about not taking toddlers. He then asked me the weight and height of my daughter.... well gee, don't you think you should get that info yourself, instead of taking my work for it? The doctor was at least masked, but I can't say I totally trusted his judgment. He checked her ears and her throat and didn't say a word to me until I asked how things looked. He said she had a little redness in one ear and a sinus infection, and that he'd prescribe antibiotics. I felt like he just told me what he thought I wanted to hear so he could prescribe antibiotics and get us on our way. Needless to say, I left not feeling very confident about what was truly going on with my daughter. If you're looking for an urgent care, go somewhere else!!

I was a new patient and the nice thing about check-in is that they fill out most of the information for you and just have you sign a couple things. They got me in very quickly and Dr Lee was very friendly and didn't act rushed. I would definitely recommend this facility.

  • 4/5 Dale J. 2 years ago on Google
I visited the facility to get a COVID test prior to traveling internationally. Unlike area pharmacies, urgent care made it super easy. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.

  • 5/5 Stephanie G. 2 years ago on Google
Walked in for an appointment here today. They met me at the sign-in window immediately. The check in process was fast and easy. My wait time was only a few minutes before they took me back to get my vitals and a sample. Doc reviewed my symptoms and called in a prescription right away. This was my first time at a MDnow facility. I would recommend their services.

  • 2/5 Pat B. 2 years ago on Google
Although check in was fast and the lady at the desk was very nice, someone should have told us we had to go to the hospital because they couldn’t handle my husband’s issue. He waited almost an hour in pain and now we are at the ER waiting again. He endured extra pain because we wasted an hour atvMD Now

I had to fight for my child to be seen for a minor cut and ultimately was told they are a private urgent care and can do what the want. First I was told they wouldn’t see my child because I said my child got an injury yesterday, front desk immediately assumed it was more than 24hrs ago and said they couldn’t see me??? I let them know we were still within 24hrs (which we were by 7hrs) and then they said well we won’t see him because he needs and X-ray and they don’t do X-rays there. I asked why he needed an X-ray for a cut and they told me to make sure nothing is in it. The cut was so minor I didn’t feel an X-ray was necessary and they kept telling me it was and I’d have to go to a different location that didn’t open until for a few more hours. I asked to speak directly with the medical staff so I could understand and they wouldn’t let me until I kept pushing. Finally after questioning more why we couldn’t be seen without an X-ray someone from the back came and talked to me. Eventually we were seen AMA and got the tetanus shot and antibiotics we needed. I did at one point question the qualifications of the physician because there was so much back and forth and coming into the building looked trashy w all the unkempt landscaping, it made me wonder if it was a legit urgent care. Not sure why they can’t triage a patient and refer out to X-ray if needed versus requiring an X-ray for any care.

my husband and I both tested positive for COVID. We went in to see about treatment. We checked in and had the nicest receptionist. She was very concerned about how we were feeling and even suggested that I air down and she worked bring me the documents to sign. After we were checked in, it was just a minute or two before we were called back. The process was something and quick. The PA was super friendly and gave us information on what choices we had. We were in and out in less than an hour. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Nurse practitioner Joe was excellent! He was calm, thorough and knew exactly what to do! If you have an emergency and need stitches this place is far better than waiting 6-8 hrs to get into a hospital! Staff was also friendly, caring and quick!!

The clinical manager who was subbing at the front desk and was just as nice as anyone could be!! The medical assistant so friendly and professional!! I thought the doctor was really good!! We joked, he set my Mind at ease and I walked out feeling great!! Would recommend this office to everyone!!

Receptionist Erica completely forgot I was there when checking in. I made it a point to get up and grab a water and that’s when she admitted it she had totally forgot that I was there. Wait time wasn’t terrible at all. Nurse was very friendly. Doctor was quick. Had to wait in waiting room for 10 minutes after visit to be sure there was no reaction to an injection and was told someone would let me know when I could leave. Once again, I was forgotten about. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m glad I was taken care of. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Horrible experience. Was told it would be an hour wait and ended up waiting 3 hours. I understand that things can get held up but maybe letting someone know would be nice. Doctor was not very friendly. When someone doesn’t feel good the one thing they want is to feel some type of empathy from the provider looking at them. My sons vitals were not taken until 30min after the doctor “assessed him.” My son ended up in the Emergency Room a few hours after this. We were also given another patients medical records and visit summary when we were discharged.

On 12-31-23 I waited over 2 hours to be seen. When I finally was able to be seen by the PA , she was very rude. I had a small lesion on my chest . I was suspecting it was fungal ringworm as I had just gotten a new kitten. When I showed her the spot on my chest and told her my suspicions her response was. “ Oh your a doctor now?” I can say I have never ever been treated as a patient as poorly as she treated me. I won’t name names , but you know who you are. Needless to say the prescription she prescribed was hard to get my hands on as the ointment was a drug that had to be compounded and the pharmacy she sent it to was not able to fill it. I had to go to a small private owned pharmacy to get it on 1-2-24.and private pay as it was not covered by insurance. I will not got back there again. The PA needs a new profession. She had no compassion and definitely no bedside manner. Won’t be back again. Worst experience ever.
