I
hired
GE
Appliances
to
come
to
my
Home
to
Repair
my
washing
machine.
I
will
start
out
with
I
have
had
them
to
my
Home
on
multiple
occasions
to
repair
my
GE
appliances.
I
am
not
trying
to
get
out
of
paying
for
services
which
is
evident
with
the
thousands
of
dollars
I
Have
spent
over
the
6
years
having
their
appliances
repaired.
We
moved
into
a
New
Home
approximately
6
years
ago
and
purchased
brand
new
GE
Monogram
kitchen
appliances
as
well
as
TWO
GE
washers
and
Dryers.
We
spent
close
to
$30,000
on
all
the
brand
new
appliances.
Since
then
we
have
had
nothing
but
constant
repair
bills.
I
understand
that
companies
donβt
stay
in
business
without
charging
for
their
services
and
we
have
paid
GE
a
lot
of
money
to
have
repairs
done
over
the
years.
With
that
being
said,
I
was
deeply
disturbed
with
my
last
interaction
with
GE.
First
of
all
I
have
had
this
particular
technician
before
and
requested
that
he
NEVER
return
to
my
Home.
He
was
beyond
rude
and
if
I
could
have
given
him
negative
10
stars
I
would.
So
of
course,
the
same
technician
came
out
and
looked
at
my
washer
and
told
me
the
shocks
on
the
washer
had
to
be
repaired
(my
washing
machine
would
turn
off
in
the
Middle
of
a
cylce).
He
also
said
that
I
could
be
loading
the
machine
improperly
(which
I
have
been
loading
the
washing
machine
exactly
the
same
way
for
6
years
without
any
problems)!
Knowing
that
I
am
100%
positivie
its
not
from
me
loading
the
machine
improperly
I
again
asked
him
are
you
sure
that
it
is
the
shocks.
He
said
yes
and
I
went
ahead
with
the
repair
which
was
approximately
$325.
After
he
left,
I
put
a
load
into
the
washing
machine
and
the
machine
stopped!!
I
called
GE
and
said
that
their
technician
repaired
a
part
that
WAS
NOT
broken
and
that
they
needed
to
give
me
a
credit
towards
them
coming
back
to
rediagnosis
the
problem
and
repairing
what
is
wrong.
They
sent
the
same
technician
back
today
(because
you
cannot
switch
technicians
after
a
diagnosis)
and
he
once
again
said
their
is
nothing
wrong
with
the
machine
and
that
I
was
loading
it
improperly.
He
informed
me
that
an
extra
large
capacity
washing
machine
can
only
handle
3
bath
towels
which
is
absolutley
ridiculous.
I
got
out
my
owners
manual
written
by
GE
and
in
the
book
under
loading
examples
it
states
my
extra
large
machine
can
hold
10
bath
towels,
12
washcloths,
7
hand
towels,
2
terry
cloth
bath
mats
and
2
bath
sheets.
Remarkedly,
I
have
never
even
put
that
much
into
my
washing
machine.
I
guess
my
point
is
that
GE
is
being
dishonest
and
lying
to
customers
and
charging
them
for
replacing
parts
that
are
not
even
broken.
When
I
bring
it
to
their
attention
that
they
were
dishonest
and
replaced
parts
that
WERE
NOT
broken
they
ignored
my
request
for
a
credit
or
refund.
I
truly
donβt
understand
how
a
big
company
like
GE
can
send
technicians
into
homes
that
are
not
properly
trained
on
repairing
their
appliances
and
then
turning
around
and
blaming
their
customers
when
they
cannot
diagnose
and
fix
their
appliances.
Obviously
GE
is
not
going
to
put
dishonest
Information
or
lies
into
their
owners
manual!!
It
is
totally
unacceptable
for
any
company
to
lie
to
their
customers
and
take
money
to
repair
parts
that
are
not
broken.
BOTTOM
LINE:
DO
NOT
PURCHASE
GE!!
