Cafe Coffee shop

👍 Great coffee (with a really good variety of iced variations as well) and some really nice pastries! They have great seating and it makes for a really nice place to study / work. The upstairs seating is my favorite spot as it is usually quieter than downstairs. People often mention coffee, good, nice, London, Great, great, staff, service, beans, cafe,

Really good coffee, at an affordable price (for inner London). 4/5 as they didn't have any seating available on a Friday afternoon.

Their coffee is delicious! The staff was slightly but the coffee was really tasty. They have various blends and types of coffee, including unique brewing experiences. The place also has outdoor and indoor seating.

My friend and I both got a flat white this morning before going to work. It's warm and delicious. the girl made such a beautiful latte art, loves it!!! The croissant is tasty, too. Nice coffee and great service, will come back for the flat white again soon.

Great potential. I was excited to see the different coffee beans they have and their brew styles. But the staff was the most unfriendly. And I have to agree with another reviewer who said: "what I disliked is that it was served in a takeaway cup, even though I stayed in the cafe. It felt like it degraded the experience, especially as it cost over £4.". Agree. I need to add that the toastie was served cold. To the owner: brilliant idea. Wrong staff and experience offered to customers.

I went to the cafe in Christmas time :) Good music, good vibe and great coffee. They have two floor. So was busy but was fine. I ordered HUGE cream coffee. That wasn’t my type. But my friend was enjoying. Next time I will bring laptop for work!

You will always get a great coffee here! They also make an amazing Greek style coffee, prepared in a sandbox to get it as authentic as possible! Great seating and plug access makes it perfect for settling into a session on the laptop

Not really specialty coffee so don’t waste your time or money coming here expecting a decent pour over. I ordered a Chemex which was made in a v60 and poured into a pretty uninspiring paper cup when I was drinking in. Guy serving at counter also couldn’t really seem to explain what single origin beans they had on offer today - kinda tells you all you need to know. ☠️😂 Good concept but poorly executed and probably not the right type of trained staff or attitude to pull off what this place is meant to be offering up (the signage implies specialty coffee and well trained baristas) - overall pretty overrated given its reviews and definitely when can’t justify charging £4.50 a cup. Probably ok for an average cup of coffee for a busy city worker thay can’t be bothered with Pret or Costa.

A nice place to have a tasteful coffee from a Greek popular chain shop in the heart of City, London. This brand is well established in Greece and one of our favourite coffee shops in the market.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop and loved it. Wanted to grab a coffee pre-show at St Martins Theatre and this is round the corner! Very handy location. Great tasting coffee with yummy sweet treats. Banana and walnut cake slice and pistachio and lemon flapjack were delicious. Reasonably priced for central London too. Only negative was no plates or utensils for eating in.

One of the first 'third' coffee shops in London, and unlike the best one. Delicious coffee works well in a small but well-designed area. A great place to sit outside and watch the world go by (if you have time!) Plenty of snacks to try again. If you're an Antipodean missing family come here for that homely feeling.

Nice coffee house serving reasonable coffee ☕, I had a cappuccino, looked good but only average taste,I drank in but still got a disposable cup 🥤 which I was a bit surprised as the environmental damage disposable cups are doing to our environment. My partner had a breakfast tea.dont let my rants put people off,it's a nice friendly shop.

Amazing coffee shop and more! You can find really good coffee with a lot of varieties, such as Greek freddo espresso ! This place is a must in the heart of London!! They also have chargers under the seats. And the staff was super friendly.

Shop/ coffee shop/ processing plant. The whole place tells the story of the bean’s journey. “Bean to Cup”. Sadly, in the drinking, there wasn’t much story to tell. Coffee - 7.2: unfortunately the coffee had far too much foam and the service was rushed. Taste was bitter.

Excellent coffee, love the vibe of the cafe throughout both floors - just a shame that staff aren't very cheerful or friendly. A lovely space to stop at or work in, would recommend.

A solid third wave coffee shop, with ample seating, and a nice selection of quick food options. We tried two roasts brewed with an aeropress. The Indonesian might have been slightly over extracted, but the Rwandan was very nice. This shop is a great find for those wanting a good cup of coffee.

From the outside, looked like one of the cleanest and most corporate of the coffee cafes in the area. Went in and immediately enjoyed the back and forth banter between a young college coed who sounded like Adele (the Nicki Minaj description) and a semi flaming barista. She was clearly a regular or at least they treated her like one and it was a great start for the morning. I ordered the same as her but my American accent got in the way and he left out the croissant. As I left, the other lady working there gave me one for free. Coffee was a pour over hot black and a little burnt and not £3 worth. With that, probably wouldn’t return or recommend because there’s 4-5 other shops within 10 steps.

Very busy, friendly staff but not very accessible when inside. This seems to be a ‘go to’ place as was very busy on footfall. Its not the cheapest but again I have seen more expensive. Drinks were average and nothing special. The decor is similar a warehouse type set up with a spiral staircase. I am a wheelchair user and managed to get in and order but its quite tough to get access to a table. It was manageable but that was probably as the clientele didn’t mind keep moving for me to get access. I would say this is partly because the interior is limited in space and because of the success of the place. I cant knock it really as I have been in worse places and think a coffee lover would enjoy the specials which on our visit was an Argentinian coffee (We didn’t try).

Good coffee selection and beans are ground fresh. Unfortunately the baristas didn't know much about the coffee and restroom was out of service. I was looking forward to working there for a few hours but it didn't pan out

Wonderful artisanal coffee. The latte was delicious and came in a big takeaway cup and worth the price. The pastries were nice too! I liked the Spinach and Feta one.

Vibey cafe in the central London. Baristas are super friendly and helpful. Food and coffee were really good. Lovely place to sit and work. WiFi is pretty good as well! Unfortunately their toilet was out of order and was a massive inconvenience to myself and other customers.

A nice place, so,what industrial inside. I had a chemex, which was well made and flavourful. I was able to choose which beans I wanted, which is a nice touch. What I really disliked is that it was served in a takeaway cup, even though I stayed in the cafe. It felt like it degraded the experience, especially as it cost over £4.

I always enjoy visiting this cafe when I'm in the Covent Garden area. Usually not that busy so there is space to sit down and do a bit of work, while enjoying a nice coffee and pastry. Good selection of drinks available, and you can even buy a variety of coffee beans to take home with you. The food options have changed recently - I used to enjoy a ham and cheese croissant, but this is no longer sold. The cafe is a little pricey compared to others in the area, but the coffee is more specialist. Staff are friendly, and there is complimentary flavored water to enjoy too.

The atmosphere was mediocre at best. The staff were not very helpful and seemed to have an attitude even though my friend and I were friendly. My friend accidentally put her contactless on the tip card machine in which we only received an “oh” when the worker realised with no offer to take it off the order or even a “thank you”. They also didn’t say thank you back when the drinks were collected or even a smile, making us feel very unwelcome. The drinks were okay but not worth the poor service and high prices.

Nice coffee but they only have takeaway cups so even if you drink in there’s lots of wastage. Sad

Amazing customer service. I didn’t know what to take so I asked the counter guy and he gave the most amazing recommendations. Great coffee and tasty pastries! 10/10 would recommend.

  • 1/5 Siamak G. 1 year ago on Google
Not recommendable at all. The 4.5 stars are completely overrated. Places with this rating should deliver cappuccino with barista style. We sat inside and instead of receiving our orders in dishes and glasses we got tons of bags and plastic. In current times it’s a total waste and why? The food it’s self was below average, looking at the range of options in London there is DEFINITELY better breakfast places. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Amazing coffee. Especially recommended for those wanting to do work. Tables are equipped with a standard socket and a USB chargers. If you're lucky you can get a table at an elevated viewpoint. Great tasting coffee and good selection of sweets and sandwiches/wraps/bagels.

Lovely inviting place but a couple of things miss the mark for me. Firstly for a person that doesn’t know coffee it’s a little awkward as to what to order and how to order it. The sign is very difficult to understand as it’s overwhelming with options with a lot of detail. I ordered the a V60 coffee island blend and it tasted horrible. It was just off. My partner ordered the decaf (which doesn’t list this that prominently) and that was incredible

I was so excited to come based on reviews but this takeaway cup for drinking in full to the top for £3.20 is absolute disappointment. Very nice and clean place overall but I'm not coming back for this.

Had a great cappuccino for £3.10. A really good price on such quality coffee. Nice atmosphere on that small street in the middle of everything. Nice staff and it's nice to see them weigh up the beans.

  • 1/5 Anja R. 2 months ago on Google New
We went to this place because of its good reviews. I personally didn‘t like the atmosphere because it had a mass-processing kind of a feel but that may be unavoidable due to its location. However, my oatmilk cappuccino was simply not drinkable because it was way too sour. My partner‘s was on the sour side as well but at least still drinkable (albeit not great either), which is why I believe they must have made some kind of mistake with mine. Mistakes happen, and I wouldn‘t normally write a bad review based on a single experience but given the vibe and the fact that they produce crazy amounts of waste by only serving food and drinks in disposable containers, I think advertising the place as “speciality coffee” is misleading. I’m never coming back.

  • 4/5 Rahul R. 1 year ago on Google
It's pretty good. The coffee itself is delicious and the price isn't too bad for London. Takeaway cups for people sitting in is pretty average I'd say, bit if you want nice coffee with lots of options then this is great.
