What a charming hotel. We had a B&B booked for our trip to Ghent. The B&B cancelled on us the same day we were supposed to check in. In a panic we found this hotel and booked it since they had availability. Once we checked in, we were extremely pleased. The hotel has a charm about it that you can't find at most places. It's right next to the water and on a very quiet street away from everything. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very classy. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms had hardwood floors, so we felt like we would wake the neighbors up walking around at midnight when we checked in, but we never heard anyone else when they were in their rooms. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but their menu looked incredible although pricey. We loved our visit here!

Top quality in food and location, next to the canal. You can have a nice event here with friends and family. I can highly recommend it. Staff is friendly and tries to cater to everyone's needs. The food was tasty and delivered in time ( the steak was excellent). Kids have ample space to run around and play. In front of the restaurant there is a large parking area for customers.

Stayed at the hotel with family and had brunch in the morning. Amazing service and very friendly staff. Buffet-style brunch with a lot of choices and a great ambiance with the fireplace, would definitely come again!

Let's start by saying this is 5 stars dining experience and excellent service. We stopped here for lunch after 2 hours of cycling. We weren't wearing the right outfit for the venue but they welcomed us and we were seated in a nice area near the river. The service is spotless, high-class, well educated waiters and they speak multiple languages (Dutch, English) at least. They explained the menu and served our drinks very quickly. The reason why I'm giving 4 stars rating is because it took them between 30-40 minutes to serve our orders. When they served the food, I felt the portions were too small for the price we paid. The prices are very high, because it's a prestigious venue. Nevertheless, they shouldn't serve a little - at least that's what I think. I would recommend this place for family lunch or business lunch. I think it's a very nice place to bring people together.

Wonderfull dining setting near the river Leie. Top French cuisine in a luxurious setting. If you want to enjoy Belgian gastronomy at its best this is definatelly a spot you need to discover.

I'm pretty sure I'm too poor to stay at this hotel normally, but we got a GREAT deal on a room. Then the woman at the front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a view. It truly was a great view! Staying in different cities while visiting Belgium, it was a nice change of pace staying in the country. The hotel was a mix of old world charm with modern amenities. Nice and quiet and a short drive to Ghent. Truly a great hotel experience.

A very nice and enjoyable dinner We had a business dinner with 13 people. Clearly we were asked for a pre-selection but the choice offered was really nice. Freshly prepared, well seasoned and tasty starters and main dishes. Sashimi were a dream and the meat was well prepared. Great sauces to enjoy fries :) We enjoyed a nice white wine with the starter and a good red with the meat. All in al a great dinner with good service ! Recommended !!

Lovely outdoor courtyard seating for a breezy evening with friends. Excellent food and service. My pork chop was perfectly cooked. Servings sizes generous without being too much. Perfect dining experience.

Lovely stay. Beautiful place and surroundings. Superb kitchen and a quality. Friendly staff. We did a walk of 7 km around, the perfect way to explore Flanders. I would recommend it to foreign visitors and also Belgians

Had a plated dinner, but hors'douvres were great and the food was excellent. Fish starter, veal medallions, and a large, fantastic absolutely fantastic dessert buffet

Very friendly waiters and staff, spend the day here for a training, would really recommend giving trainings here, great view and food!
