😠 Worst service/attitude ever! Pity, as the place is lovely (even if over-priced), but the bad energy of this arrogant woman ruined our experience! She literally threw the plates on our table, and ignored us whilst trying to pay. Never returning here, ever :) People often mention coffee, good, service, Bruges,

It's a nice little coffe & breakfast place, but a bit expensive in our opinion. We had a very good tartine - the fresh bread was amazing :) There were a few things that could have been better: the eggs weren't delivered yet cause it was to early (~9:30), there was an extra 2 eur tax we didn't figure out for what yet, you can pay only cash :( It was only one person serving (I think the owner) so the waiting time is a bit longer even if she struggling to plese everyone. The home made brownie was very tasty also :)

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Café unweit vom Marktplatz. Wir wurden freundlich bedient und der Cappuccino war ausgezeichnet. Wer ebenfalls auf der Suche nach einem guten Kaffee ist, sollte hier einkehren.

After serving the famous fries at a location near Margritt, we wanted to eat a dessert and drink a coffee here, but we were invited to leave the restaurant on the grounds that it is a small business and if we don't serve food, we can't stay there . There were 2 occupied tables in the location and no one was waiting to get in there. With this attitude, you will probably have a small business in the future too.

Probably the best espresso in the touristy Bruges, given they use OR coffee, but it falls short of Ana Attento OR cafe espresso in Jourdan in Brussels. Overall it is not a bad choice for good coffee.

I had a great hot chocolate… but unfortunately, the manager/bar attendant at the time was extremely rude to my family and I. She kicked us out saying we could not just sit for coffee, as my family was about to order for cappuccinos and treats. I found this extremely rude. She could have mentioned this in a much nicer way than she actually did. She yelled at us in front of the whole place and it was really uncomfortable. I felt very discouraged. I have never been treated like that before.

Good food and initially friendly service. But the place is cash only (unacceptable in 2019) and there's no sign Informing it. We did not ordered any warm dishes and the place was not full yet it took quite awhile to receive it.

Nearly a year ago, I posted about @thepotatobar.be. A nice place where you can grab the best fries in town. I also said Bruges would be a more lovely place if there would pop up more places like this one. And I feel like that's happening. Spend last Sunday afternoon at @margritt.brugge. It's actually the first time the girlfriend and I went in to have a drink, which is quite a shame since we've heard a lot of people talking positive about this place. I enjoyed sitting down at the window, and looking at people passing by. This is the place where you can find the kind of atmosphere you feel when watching a cozy family movie. Friendly staff, great coffee. I see myself going back and just spending my whole afternoon with a good book over!

Lovely cafe with small selection of breakfast/brunch items but done very well. Coffee was delicious & served with a small mallowy sweet in the shape of a Madonna! Great service & wonderful food all freshly prepared!

This was a really nice experience while our visit here. A true gem in town. The drinks are breathtaking and the meal we ordered were fantastic.

Glatte 10/10. Danke

Verry good place, u have too wait some minutes because is just one person attending, but the wait is worth it. Personally recommend the Caramel Latte

Beautiful stop for our morning coffee. The coffee is delicious and our host is very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed sitting in for our coffee before exploring Bruges.

Nice and cosy place, but terrible coffee (maybe really old beans and/or dirty espresso machine?). Chocolate tart was also really bad, tasting of only fat and sugar. Also expensive (espresso 4 euro). Hope they improve in the future!

My first place to drink coffee and have breakfast in Brugge and love with the first sight. Delicious and aesthetic food and perfect espresso. Highly recommended.

Bistro Margritt: Delights the Palate and the Soul Nestled in the heart of Bruges, Margritt Bistro, under the attentive care of the charming Sophie, is a happy place if you are looking to taste fresh, seasonal, and local food. From the moment you step through the door, the warm welcome from Sophie creates and an atmosphere that feels more like a visit to a dear friend's home. NOW ON TO THE FOOD: each dish is a masterpiece of flavors, artfully plated to please the eye as much as the palate. The emphasis on freshness with ingredients so crisp and vibrant that it's as if they were plucked from the garden just moments before. The bistro's intimate setting is super super cozy, creating an inviting space that encourages conversation and a moment to unwind. Margritt Bistro is the perfect pitstop to refuel your spirit and boost your happiness levels through the joy of exceptional food and warm Flemish hospitality.

We had an absolute lovely experience at Margritt while visiting Bruges. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious and the ambiance was delightful. Service was SO pleasant!! A true gem - I wish I could bottle it up and take it home with me so that I could enjoy this spot every day!

Really nice coffee and local desserts. The barista was friendly and energetic but didn’t wear her mask properly or bother to scan our EU COVID passes. She speaks Flemish, French and a bit of English but the service was a little slow. Also, a little pricy for what you get.

This café was simply amazing. Everything I ate was so good. And the atmosphere was also great. Kind of kinfolk style, but warm, bright & cosy.

A good coffee, in a relaxing setting with friendly staff. Their menu offering is different and a breath of fresh air. Make sure you have a look at their desserts too. Personally I like the hot milk chocolate with marshmallows.

It's not explicit so beware no card payment under 20 euros is accepted and even when you reach the minimum amount the card machine doesn't work!!! Lady owner said it was because of our bank cards being credit cards but they weren't... We tried two debit cards that worked everywhere else in Brugge, one Visa and one Mastercard, neither worked...... Just say you want cash only when customers walk in. Nice tea, slow service, not a good experience.

Average drinks at best but a one star review for not taking card under €20. This in itself is not an issue but not making the customer aware until payment is not acceptable, I'm also not convinced that this was true as when offered to buy something more to take it over €20 I was declined and then told it was due to the type of card (?!) This place is up to something strange so just go elsewhere, there are plenty of Cafés in Bruges that are better quality and better ran.

It’s a very nice place to sit, but after ordering we had to wait 45 minutes for our brunch to be delivered. The coffee came almost immediately, causing it to be empty by the time we had our food. The food itself was tastful, but the granola came in a glass, meaning it was far from enough even though it was €10. I won’t come here again. It was way too expensive compared to what we received.

I really like this place. 👩🏽‍💻Digital Nomads Friendly 😉 Great chai tea & hot chocolate. The food is delicious, so tasty, and everyone is very friendly(good service). *Make sure you have some cash handy because the dataphone doesn’t work with certain cards…

😐 It's a crypt style bar with a cracking atmosphere & one of the largest selection of beers I've seen. It gets very busy, so be prepared to queue at certain times. You'll need to peruse the selection of beers in 'the folder' in addition to those on the counter. A must visit place for any beer connoiss...
