Place to be for ribs

After walking so many times in the adjacent forest, we decided to give the restaurant a try. We called to reserve and could immediately have a table. We ordered ribs which were served with a big potato and some salad. The waiters were friendly, service was reasonably fast, I found the ribs abit too dry. Somehow the ambience is warm but still, the cobwebs in the corners disturbed me. Am happy we tried but I am not enthusiastic about a second visit.

Best foil potatoes and herb butter EVER! I personally come for the potatoes rather than the spareribs. Nevertheless the spareribs are very good as well! Did I mention these are all-you-can-eat? (Potatoes included ;) ) Perfect spot for families and friends with great service!

Amadeus in Kruishoutem? Seems so! The food and service is a bit below expectations: we were early so we were served very quickly. The fact this is an "all-you-can-eat" formula and the fact you can only hold a table for a limited time (communicated in the reservation) it takes a while to get the re-orders. Basically, the restaurant cooks and people come in, then they walk around with trays with the ribs that are "left" to refill your plate. Once the restaurant is buzzing and you are started off, it's ok though. Great for children, not so great for culinary experience or date.

Great atmosphere, sweet ribs and potatos with special butter, all you can eat. Not so great wine though

The place for ribs! Top service!

i love ribs!! the reason I did reserve a table in Amadeus for my birthday. the food is good, the server is friendly and is enthusiastic. the only thing bad about is at the moment (november, with rain and a bit wind) is the place is cold.. maybe they are trying to save so they didn't turn on the heater. But it is not comfortable to eat while wearing your jacket.

The ribs used to be better, it used to be standing out of all the other rib-restaurants. Still good though but no choice in sweet or normal ribs. The service on the other hand is still warm and inviting, you never have to ask for a refill of the all you can eat ribs yourself, they are excellent at their service. I hope they repair the sealing though. I would revisit them again.

We tried Amadeus Lozer after a long day at Ooidonk castle, after calling many other restaurants without success. Needless to say that flavorful large serving of ribs was more than welcome after walking in costumes for hours. I loved the big potato (yum) and the fact it's a eat-all-you-want formula, even though most of us were full after finishing our plate. Quick and amiable service in an authentic setting, definitely a nice memory and I'll come back !
