Great food and welcoming staff in a charming ambient.

My partner and I had an incredible dining experience here. Each course of the tasting menu was a work of art! Oh and a great selection of wines paired along with it. We have tried several vegetarian tasting menus around the world and this one has definitely topped the list. Must try if you are visiting Bruges!

We visited for Stacey’s birthday last night and enjoyed a drink and appetiser in the bar before being shown our table in the elegant and intimate dining room. From here we were expertly guided through our 5 course menu including wine pairings. The service here was sensational and everything what explains in detail for both the food and the wine. The dishes were all exceptional and paired perfectly with the wines. All round fantastic experience and the perfect way to celebrate another year of life for my wonderful wife ♥️

I'm glad we turned up up early, since pre-dinner drinks were almost as enjoyable as dinner itself. We enjoyed a wonderful, interesting selection of gins in a grand, 'old-world' setting, followed by an excellent, traditional dinner formally served by a friendly, courteous waiter. Dinner at Le Mystique did not disappoint in any way & can be highly recommended (though it was less memorable & far less fun than the Bruut bistro we visited the following evening).

Fantastic experience here for my partners birthday meal. £255 for the both of us for the 4 course set menu with two glasses of rose champagne, two glasses of white wine and a double espresso. The first course was langoustine which was amazing, followed by brill, hare and then the cheese course. The cheeses were all local cheeses, apart from one which was from England. Sublimely curated selection of cheeses. Bloody delicious. All of the courses were presented beautifully, so they were a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds. The standout feature of this place is the service. The staff looked after us extremely well and were very polite and accommodating. The setting is also beautiful and regency style. Would definitely recommend!

Hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had. I don’t write many reviews but felt moved to write this one after having a wonderful meal here by myself. The staff was professional and the food was delicious. In addition to what I ordered, the staff brought out course after course of fun bites and unique dishes sent by the chef. I wish I had the culinary knowledge to describe it all. Treat yourself to a night out here! You won’t forget it.

We stayed one night at Heritage Relais and chateaux hotel, for a birthday celebration. We decided to have dinner at their restaurant and we had an amazing experience. They were so nice and accomodating to change their set menu for me. Because i was pregnant i could not have the starter (langoustine carpaccio) or the duck for the main, it was cooked rare. So last minute, they went the extra mile and gave me a beautiful delicious starter with fois gras and turbot for main. My partner was very happy with their set menu and also with the wine pairing. Will definetly want to comeback if we revisit Bruges.

An amazing experience made even more remarkable by the attentive service of Anthony. We loved the 5 courses pairing menu and wouldn’t recommend enough when in Bruges and to celebrate something special. Will be back surely

Amazing dinner to finish off a wonderful city break in Bruges. Service was excellent in cosy and opulent surroundings, would recommend to any food lovers.

Myself and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary here at Le Mystique and we have both come away feeling hugely impressed! While making the reservation a few months ago, I had made the restaurant aware that my wife was pregnant and we therefore had some specific dietary requirements. The chef and the maître d' went to great lengths to accommodate, right down to the use of yoghurt in the appetisers! Me and my wife are so grateful that such time and care was taken when considering our menu. The service thereafter was very much in keeping with the example I have just shared. Very personable, very friendly and very calm. The atmosphere as a whole was elegant and lovely, with a beautifully decorated and warm dining area filled with the sound of soft piano music and reflective light coming from the gorgeous chandeliers. The food itself was an absolute dream! We enjoyed the four course set-menu (which was more like 8 when you take into account the appetisers and petit fours, etc) and each and every morsel was beautifully presented, beautifully balanced and absolutely delicious. You can tell that the restaurant makes the most of brilliant seasonal produce as each ingredient tasted so fresh and in harmony with everything else on the plate and in the menu. I would also just like to thank Anthony for his fantastic selection of wines following one after the other in such a clever way. Each wine really did pair so well with each course in the menu (particularly the Petit Verdot with the beef fillet, in my opinion) and his explanation of place and thought process behind each decision was so special to listen to and enjoy. We would really like to thank everyone at Le Mystique for such a beautiful evening and for an anniversary that we shall never forget! Thank you.

The food was amazing ! The menu was positively surprising with a lot of different tastes and the wine were really good as well. The staff was very nice and with a lot of explanation regarding the food and wine. The perfect combination for a great experience.

Had an extraordinary experience at Le Mystique - gorgeous interior, unique atmosphere, and professional and friendly service (Anthony & friends). The dishes were beautifully presented, rich in flavour and reasonably sized (I could not even finish all courses). Recommend this lovely place from the bottom of my heart (also to all vegetarians out there).

Disappointing experience. Food taste can be described as “eclectically mismatched”, the chef is clearly experimenting with flavors which, unfortunately, do not come together. The amuse bouche are bland and dry, the prawn appetizer for €28 is minuscule & gnocchi is super tough. Sorry for the bad review, but gotta be honest.

A very special dining experience! Special shout out to Anthony - what a pleasant and personable young man who explained all the wines to us so expertly. Fine dining and fine service in surely one of the world's most beautiful cities. Recommended!

Every few years you have a stunning and memorable dining experience - and I just had such an experience at Le Mystique. The dishes were amazing - great flavour and wonderful presentation. The servers were professional and fun at the same time. Truly a dining experience. (BTW - you can create a great tasting dessert using carrots).

Had a wonderful night here. Started with a warm welcome by the host and some champagne in the bar. The Friday night dinner was great with very good service. Our server was polite and kind, even helped me with a nice way to present a gift at the end of the dinner. When making the online reservation I asked for a specific table near the fireplace, which was taken into account by the staff. Overall great experience and definitely a recommendation for a good and romantic night!

Each delicacy was devine and Anthony has been marvellous, making this dinner one of our highlights in our honeymoon.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Our meal had everything - incredible flavours, innovative combinations of ingredients that really worked, superb service and all in a magnificent environment. I have been to several Michelin starred restaurants so far, from 1 to 3 starred, and am honestly surprised that Le Mystique hasn't joined them yet. Perhaps that is yet to come? We decided to go for the tasting menu. Every single one of the courses was a complete success. The dishes were presented beautifully and had an incredible amount of flavour. Every part of the dishes played a part in creating a wonderful tasting experience. The chef is evidently extremely talented and put a lot of thought into the dishes. Special thanks also to the serving staff who are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

Excellent food and service, didn’t like the desserts as much. Be careful ordering extras, water cost me 6€. Worth it because the staff was so kind and the fish and meat was so tender!

One fine restaurant in Bruges. My husband and I visited this restaurant on my birthday last year. Food with recommended wine were great and cocktails were so amazing. Atmosphere was just stunning with antique decoration with high ceilings. One thing to note is that I emailed to request a window table but the Korean wait staff ignored.

Gorgeous food and venue. Our server was very personable and made our meal memorable and special.

This was by far the most disappointing fine dining experience I’ve ever had in Europe and I’ve been to more than a hundred upscale restaurants. The 4-courses tasting menu had only one main course option except vegetarian dish. We asked if there were more options coz we didn’t feel like eating venison “at the moment”. The waiter kept repeating “If you don’t eat venison, you should let us know in advance.” After we decided to go for a la carte menu, the waiter finally came back to offer additional option of beef as main course for tasting menu. When we asked how the beef would be cooked, he replied “just basic cooking, coz this is last minute.” In the back and forth discussion, he was very rude, arrogant and basically yelled at us in the end. The sommelier came to apologize for the waiter’s terrible attitude and he became the one serving us for the rest of night. The beef dish we had was good and the rest courses also reached certain standard. I may not be the one to evaluate whether the food here is worth Michelin stars but with the level of services they offered, this restaurant is far away from getting one. - January 2019
