Best halal restuarent in Bruges. Very delecius food, very good services, very helpful and friendly staff, very good menu with many options for both food and beverages. You can choose Moroccan dishes like Tajen (Beef, Chicken, seafood, and vegetables), Coscos, seafood especially the mussles, and much more. Highly recommended even if you are looking for healthy food, halal food, Arabic food, and sea food.

We dined there in June 2022 - although some time has passed since but had to write a review. The Chicken Tajine was just divine and the service given by the owner/chef, his name is Anwar, who was just amazing. When we got to the restaurant it was actually closed because it was a Friday, which is a Jummah day - a special prayer that muslims perfom. The restaurant opens around 5pm on Fridays but we didn't know that and got there around 2pm. I then called on the restaurant phone mumber and the chef picked up and upon realising my disappointment - he offered to come down (he lives about 20mins away) and open the restaurant and cook specifically for us. What a man - won't forget that gesture. It's certainly a little Morrocan gem in the heart of beautiful Brugges.

Very nice food and big portions, I ordered the couscous with Lamb, to die for!! There was only one man serving and cooking at the same time. I felt stressed for him but he managed very good! Kudos. Recommend it!!

One of the best meals I've had in many years! We ordered the lamb tagine and the fettucini scampi. Not sure which one's better, both were super delicious. The fettucini came with a very generous amount of seafood, so it's certainly worth its price. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Totally recommended!

Very nice hidden gem of a restaurant. Run by one man who does everything. But it's worth the wait. Food is fresh and flavorful!

A small simple restaurant, front end probably just the proprietor himself. Very polite gentleman. I order mussels though a little salty for me but tasted delicious & fresh. My partner had a steak. Remember in Brugge always order steaks one rung below the coolness you want. He asked for medium. Usually he would ask for medium well. Came out perfect. Meat was fresh & tasty. First time we get 'free bread' in Belgium restaurant. Bread was wonderful it was multi grain . Fresh, crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. It's next to hotel Dukes Academie where we stayed . Very convenient Oh very good value for money too.

Hidden gem! Came here to eat around 5:30pm so we were the only ones in the restaurant. For the mussels fries and drink deal for 16 euro. Mussels portions was super generous and so delicious! Great value for money.

It might take 20-30 minutes for the food to arrive, but it was certainly worth it! 😋 Very nice and extremely polite owner. And food was delicious!

Excellent flavorful food which is rare to find in Belgium! Very intimate and personal service! We ordered the mussels with garlic cream sauce, tuna salad and tajini with lamb chops for dinner! It was sooo good and we loved every but of it! I only have pictures of the completely finished finger-licking-good dishes. Will recommend to everyone who seeks good flavorful food while visiting Belgium.

We went there for dinner, we chose this place because of good google reviews. Nothing fancy. A small restaurant but clean. We tried their Chicken and lamb tajine. It was out of this world. Very authentic Moroccan taste. We will surely visit again. Highly recommended. The only downside was the owner was working himself all alone and you have a long waiting time because they make everything fresh on order. They should hire some servers to make it faster.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Was a little bit skeptical at first, as the place was empty, but decided to stay anyway. Had the lamb tagine. It takes a while to cook, but that is mentioned in the menu. It was worth the wait, cause the tase was 👏 I would recommend 👌

Try the tajine, you won’t be disappointed! It was lamb for me and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The owner is also a very nice person and contributed to the experience. All in all, a nice experience!

This place is an absolute gem! Slightly off the beaten path, therefore not busy, and the food is simply incredible. We had mussels and couscous with lamb, and our only regret is not having discovered it earlier, as we would have certainty gone back for more. My grandmother would have been jealous of the cooking here. Notice though, since the food is freshly cooked, you will have to wait a little. But warm bread with butter makes for a pleasant wait.

This little restaurant is a gem that should not be missed when visiting Bruges. We had the Kefta Tajine and Lamb Tajine. This place is easy to miss when walking past, but is worth seeking out. The owner was very lovely and kind, and the bread was absolutely the *best* I have ever had. We will surely be eating here again when we return to Bruges.

We tried Mussels (I chose slightly spicy favor) and Couscous, both is extremely delicious and with very good price. One of the best meals I have ever had in Europe. We returned to the restaurant 2 times during our trip. There was only the owner in the restaurant but he managed everything very well. You can even get some good snacks while waiting, the waiting time is not too long tho. Highly recommended!!

Took a day trip from Ghent to Bruge. The owner of Beers Yesterday’s World recommended us this location for some mussels. I just want to say there were no pictures because we demolished the food and forgot to take one. Go either natural or with white wine. It was bomb 9/10 More reviews from my Euro Trip to come.

We came for dinner and ended up with mussels and fries and this was a great pleasure. The mussels were delicious and the same goes for the fries. In addition there is a selection of good beers amongst other several trappist beers.

Good Moroccan cusine! We tried the Harira soup which was yummy. I ordered a grilled salmon and my wife 1/2 chicken, both of which were well done.

We ordered lamb and chicken tajine. They were delicious, only chicken was a little bit over salted. Portions are big, I think one tajine would be enough for us. And the owner is very friendly. He immediately prepared kids meal first, which was so nice of him. Highly reccomend it!

👍👍 It was an amazing experience! First time I tried not a sweet waffle and I loved it! The waffles were just how you would expect them to be: crispy outside and soft and delicious inside. The one with strawberries was an insane blast of taste. I will come back here again. Recommended!
