Definitely Not a Two MICHELIN Stars restaurant: Good innovative cooking, not exceptional. The worst was the wine pairing and the snobbish not experienced sommelier. Wine with cork(twice) and also not good pairing choices.

Exquisite dining experience in Bruges!

Definitely not a two star restaurant, we had better food in a non star restaurant. Very blend. Waiter was great, but the sommelier was the worst. Couldn't admit he made a mistake, not that its like a big thing, but my wife also a sommelier, she pointed out something about the wine, instead of like have a professional conversation, he said he went to a better school... omg...after he ignored us(probably googled it)well obviously not a sign of intelligency. Unprofessional!!

Dined quite a while back - March 2020 - and felt hesitant posting such a negative review as COVID-19 has just begun. Unfortunately, one of the diners at another table was very inappropriate / flirtatious towards my girlfriend. While I can't fault the restaurant for that, only after the second complaint were we reaccommodated to a new table. We received no apology from the staff. Furthermore, the food was lackluster, which we also made the staff aware of. We we asked to leave the meal slightly before our main course and receive a prorated bill, but we were told that we'd need to pay the full amount. Thus, we stayed for the full meal. Easily the worst Michelin-starred restaurant I've ever been to, from food to service. Can't believe they've got 2 stars, and I plan to make the Michelin team aware of my experience now.

I would actually like to give 4.5 stars, but unfortunately this is not possible. The food was superb. Worthy of stars. Our roots are in the catering industry, so we have some experience. Everything was perfectly finished, and everything fell into place in terms of taste. I just thought it was too expensive. Although you get beautiful dishes with fresh products, the final bill was too high. I realize that running such a restaurant costs a lot of money, but still... That's why 4 stars.

Top 3 of places in Belgium where I've been. Great food and taste combinations, personal service, nice atmosphere. Everything a 2* restaurant needs. Will definitely go back with some special chocolates for the chef to taste as agreed. Thanks a lot for the great evening with best friends. Meanwhile went a 2nd time and was even better. Filip also took the time after lunch for tasting wholefruit chocolate and a great chat. Amazing afternoon!

Exceptional 2 Michelin star meal. Went on a Friday night and had market menu for 2 people (69 euros for 3 courses). Fantastic food with very generous portions - lots of canapes and incredibly flavorsome in every course. Service was very friendly and attentive

My family and I had a remarkable dining experience at De Jonkman in Brugge. From discovering the restaurant through their impressive website to securing a table just a day in advance, everything was seamless. The wine selection was exceptional, with surprisingly reasonable prices. The entire staff, including the knowledgeable sommelier, provided top-notch service. The prix fixe course dinner surpassed our expectations in terms of presentation, quality, and flavors. Moreover, the beautiful patio seating allowed us to relish the perfect weather. I enthusiastically recommend De Jonkman to all Brugge visitors.

Delicious from start to finish, impeccable service, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The menu is exquisite, and in terms of quantity it was really perfect.

There were some strange flavor combinations, and the menu felt a little disjointed. However, the fantastic service and amazing beer pairings still make this a great restaurant.
