Food was great but unfortunatelly the lady was definetely not friendly. Eventhough we spent more than 700€ she was mad because the children were not eating a full meal. As we were leaving I told her that I found her attitude rather extreme and she ended up covering her ears and pushing me towards the door. Think twice about going there.

The food here is really something. Seafood dishes we had were made from very fresh ingredients. Scallop soup base was great just a tad salty on its own. Both the filet and pigeon were skillfully cooked and flavored. Was surprised by the texture of filet, very tender. Good wine. Greatcservice and overall decor. Last tip: to guarantee your spot you need to make reservation, it's a really small restaurant and only open for 2 hours a day.

We had an absolutely delightful meal. Sat outside in front of the tiny restaurant and enjoyed langoustine breaded in curry panko, scallop crudo, roasted quail with carrots, and hake with mashed potatoes and ratatouille. Lemon sorbet with limoncello for dessert was perfect. The service was provided by the wife of the couple and was warm and kind. A perfect meal!

Was soll man sagen. Ein großartiges Vier-Gänge Menü. Optisch und geschmacklich top. Unglaubliches Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Etwa 80€ pro Person inklusive korrespondierender Weine. A place to be 👍. Nicht zu vergessen: der tolle Service und das gesamte Ambiente. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Geht dorthin und freut Euch.

I got the fixed menu, and everything was great! The wine pairing, wow (I got all reds). The hostess/waitress (I dunno what to call her—she did everything except cook) was super hospitable.

Had received many recommendations for restaurants in Bruges, but being a foodie, I rely on my own research and read about Couvert and it appealed to me. Every aspect of the restaurant was beyond amazing. Very creative menu and from amuse bouche to entree, main dish, and dessert were prepared to perfection. The place is run by husband, the chef, and wife Yanka. I started a conversation with her, she is very friendly, and they just celebrated 19 years with the restaurant. The building is from 1673, has incredible charm and cozy. Was there almost 3 hours. One of the best overall dining experiences my wife, son, and i have ever had.

A small hidden gem. Excellent food and very nice staff. Cozy atmosphere. Very good house wines. I can really recommend this restaurant.

This was such a romantic spot. 10 out of 10. They even made accomodations for my vegetarian partner.

Small place, maybe 10 tables, so make a reservation. Operated by a couple with single server; the other is in back cooking. Warm space, with wood floors and ceilings. Small menu - 4 starters, 4 mains plus a different fixed price menu. Cuisine features high quality, fresh ingredients prepared in a traditional manner. 2 starters of smoked eel and scallops were very fresh. Mains of beef steak and quail cooked perfectly.

This is a special place that we always look forward to when visiting bruges. The owner takes excellent care of you and the food is 1st class. The only place we pre-book as we wouldnt want a trip to bruges without a visit here.

Fantastic food and outstanding service. If you want they will give you a glass of wine with each course and the wine matches perfectly. I highly recommend it. It is small so you need to book in advance but this is a dont miss experience in Bruges.

What a find! We were so happy to find this gem on our walkabout! Our dinners were both wonderful and nothing like we'd ever had before. I ordered the pigeon and my husband ordered the sweet breads and for dessert we had strawberries with whipped cream and meringue.

Main course took 1 hour 30 minutes to come out, which tasted worse than the starters. The place was super cramped and over priced. Other patrons in restaurant were poorly dressed, including the 1 server who was wearing jeans. The one server was horribly rude, and completely ruined the joyous evening that could have been.

Food was very expensive for very small portions, also possibly the longest wait for the food ever! Almost two hours! Left feeling hungry. Service felt very snotty and rude. Place was super small and seemed to try to pack and many tables as possible in small space. Will not be coming back.
