This
is
Part
1
of
my
review
of
Perfect
Smile
Dental.
I
say
“Part
1”
because
I
have
had
already
(in
one
day)
the
extraction
of
all
my
27
teeth,
the
“All
in
4
titanium
implants”
in
the
upper
jaw
and
the
“All
in
4
titanium
implants”
in
the
lower
jaw,
plus
the
close/stitches
of
the
wounds.
I
am
Jaime
Andres
Arenas,
63,
and
I
live
in
close
to
Los
Angeles,
California.
I
have
been
suffering
from
pyorrhea/periodontitis
for
the
last
10
years
of
my
life.
By
the
time
I
made
an
appointment
with
Dr.
Omar
Espinosa
from
Perfect
Smile
Dental
in
Tijuana,
Mexico,
I
was
not
able
to
eat
without
a
considerable
amount
of
pain
due
to
my
loose
and
wiggly
teeth,
specially
the
molars
in
both
sides.
My
front
teeth
presented
still
certain
firmness
but
every
year
they
were
losing
more
and
more
gum
support
and
were
destined
to
fall
rather
sooner
than
later.
For
years,
I
have
had
my
health
needs
taken
care
of
in
Tijuana.
I
had
an
angioplasty
performed
by
a
team
of
physicians
during
a
heart
attack
that
I
didn’t
see
coming
but
it
was
certainly
due
a
long
time
ago
because
of
a
cardiovascular
decease,
high
cholesterol
and
smoking
[I
don’t
smoke
any
more].
Serendipity
made
it
possible
to
have
that
terrifying
event
at
the
right
time
and
at
the
right
place,
where
the
hospital
and
doctors
acted
quickly,
ethically,
effectively
at
a
cost
I
was
able
to
afford
for
a
quality
of
a
procedure
only
comparable
to
the
best
you
can
find
in
the
US
and
the
rest
of
the
world.
So,
when
I
decided
to
look
for
help
in
Tijuana
regarding
my
need
of
full
mouth
implant,
I
had
no
doubt
that
I
was
searching
in
the
right
place.
Regarding
cost:
we
discussed
options,
we
analyzed
prices
and
reasons
for
those
prices,
and
we
came
to
a
mutual
satisfactory
arrangement
that
I
could
afford
and
that
it
was
fair
for
the
medical
team.
Regarding
quality:
certainly
I
didn’t
know
at
that
time
Dr.
Omar
Espinosa
or
anybody
of
his
medical
team.
So
I
decided
to
make
an
appointment,
travel
south,
cross
the
border
and
see
what
I
find
and
the
impression
I
would
get
when
meeting
them.
There
was
nothing
to
lose.
If
there
was
anything
I
didn’t
feel
comfortable
with,
I
could
simply
go
to
the
nearest
Starbucks,
have
a
latte
and
then
return
home
to
regroup.
However,
my
first
impression
was
excellent:
everybody
smiled
like
if
they
just
had
had
an
implant
themselves,
but
more
than
that,
apart
from
jokes,
I
could
tell
they
loved
their
job
and
they
were
happy
to
serve
and
make
a
living
out
of
it.
The
clinic
is
top
notch.
If
you
have
seen
any
Sci-Fi
or
action
movie
where
they
use
all
these
sophisticated
screens/equipment
and
everybody
is
focusing
in
a
certain
details
and
sharing
it
with
the
rest,
well,
you
got
it.
That’s
exactly
what
I
saw
and
felt.
Besides,
the
experience
I
had
with
my
cardiologist
and
his
team
and
many
other
doctors
I
have
seen
through
the
years
rightfully
gave
Dr.
Omar
the
benefit
of
the
doubt
that
I
have
found
no
reason
not
to
find
in
him
the
same
level
of
quality,
dedication
and
care
I
have
received
from
his
colleagues
so
many
times.
It
was
the
week
of
Thanksgiving.
Being
already
there,
I
told
Jair
“Let’s
do
this”,
and
I
review
the
pertinent
documents
and
signed
them.
Then,
I
was
being
led
from
one
extreme
of
the
clinic
to
another,
taking
X-rays;
analyzing
them
in
3D,
more
X-rays
and
more
3D…
until
finally
I
was
sitting
on
the
operating
chair.
The
last
thing
I
saw
is
the
anesthesiologist
talking
to
me
and
how
they
were
going
to
monitor
my
heart
and
blood
pressure
and
keep
me
sedated
until
the
whole
procedure
was
finished.
I
went
back
today,
1/13/2020,
for
a
check-up
and
removal
of
stitches
(plus
the
adjustment
of
the
acrylic
temporary
mold/dentures
that
I
can
use
for
social
situations
and
eating).
I
am
due
in
May
for
my
new
teeth.
Then,
I’ll
write
my
Part
2.
