Hug Point is by far amongst my top favorite beaches along the Northern Oregon coast. Parking for about 50 cars Id say. Bathrooms available off parking lot. steep stairs to get to/from beach along with a steep-ish paved trail to get to/from stairs. the cliffs, the waterfall, the little caves .. offer so much to explore, take in and photograph. you can climb up behind the waterfall and there are trails. super cool spot! coolest trees on these cliffs. i was just in AWE. loved it! its a definite stop on your Oregon Coast adventure

Lovely beach spot, great for exploring. DO check out the tide table before you go. Going there during low tide will give you a lot more to explore, especially if you are interested in tide pools. Great views if you go to the overlook north of parking lot, be very carful, do not go near the edges, maybe unstable.

What a super beach, small, secluded, quiet, when Tide is out lots of walking and running. Love this place. Get here early, parking fills up quickly or you will be driving around waiting. Not too many people this past Thursday August 17th.

One of favorite places on the Oregon Coast. A great place for the family, and especially children. There's so much to explore. The parking lot is small, which can be a challenge , but this beach is an absolute must see! Low tide is the best time to visit, as some beaches are inaccessible when the tide is in. Hug point is a gem on the Oregon Coast.

Really cool spot. Easy stop off the highway and quick walk to a nice beach with caves, tide pools during low tide and a waterfall. Nice place to get out, stretch your legs and explore. Kids will love it too!

Absolutely SPECTACULAR!! This is a must see if you are anywhere close by. There’s sufficient parking and then stairs down to the beach. Picturesque setting, a perfect place for a romantic picnic (when the tide is out), meditation, or just exploring. I was so happy to have spotted it on Google maps!

Love the coast views so much. It was a remarkable trip. We decided to stop by Hug Point before flew back home. So worthy.

Breathtaking. A must-see if you're in the area. Not easily accessible for those requiring assistive devices. The last step heading down to the beach is a somewhat unstable driftwood log. There is space to view the beach from the top of the steps. Limited parking with handicap parking available as well.

Ideal spot for a quick picnic on the beach or body surfing. Public restrooms available and relatively clean. Extremely limited parking though, which isn't surprising because this is one of the few spots on the Oregon coastline that's shielded from the wind and on a sunny day you could actually fool yourself into thinking you're on a beach much farther south.

I love stopping at Hug Point. On this latest trip, the tide was too high to make it around the bend and see the old wagon tracks and waterfall. Nevertheless, the beach is always photogenic, especially on cold rainy days in winter when few others are there.

Love this beach, best time is at low tide, get there about an hour before hand, also it's very windy

Sturdy shoes are recommended for climbing over shells and rocks on the rocks. There are small caves, some rocks and a small waterfall to discover on this beautiful beach. Camping is prohibited here.
