At the same exact location as the og Shanthi Sagar I must say, they've outdone shanthi sagar of what it was once upon a time. Newly refurbished, amazing furniture, sleek vibe, feels very new and it's well maintained Right next to the Highway, opp to Narayani hall and Kondarajanahalli temple The food is of good quality and I hope they maintain the same Tried the Manchurian, Paneer sandwich, veg sandwich, roti, naan, Veg kolhapuri, lemon soda and dahi puri Every dish was delicious and flavourful So no complaints there The vibe here is very chill and kinda peaceful amidst all the chaos

Had a quick breakfast of Idly vada and coffee here. The quality of food is above average to the pricing. Coffee was also above average for the price point. Washrooms were clean and good. Also it's beside the highway and also has got a good parking.

One of the best finds in Kolar enroute Bangalore to Chennai. Surprisingly they had jain options. The jain capsicum masala tasted so good. Overall good food.

Food was very great for veg people especially... North, South and Chinese were awesome... service and ambiance are something not question able... over all good experience and good place to spend time and have a nice food with family....

Good food. No much options for breakfast. Just dosa and poori. Staffs are rude and not friendly at all.

I visited the place twice and I had different opinions as when I first visited it was around 4pm in the evening there were less people around when we started ordering the people started coming,but what ever we ordered was served much faster than any restaurant nearby and with much better taste than the others nearby literally I say I had best Gobi pepper dry in recent nearby Kolar and the curry hyderabadi veg mix which they served in the earthern pot🧉 and with the we got roti the combination of both were simply "WOW" and the next after few days I visited again in the night around 8 the taste was good but not compared the food served when I visited the first time same items we ordered but this time the service was little slow I can say as there was little crowd,but the taste was slightly different from previous visit I hope you visit the place when it's less crowded 😆😅😉so they can serve you "HOT' in "POT" and the food expense is not so high and it's moderate in simple terms I say always it's "Worth The Pay🤗"

Food was really scrumptious♥️ The service was also good and waiters were very friendly too. We took Idly, Vada and Dosa, all of them were delicious. Vada in particular was the best, as it was not oily and yet very crispy. I would highly recommend this for all the vegetarians searching for a good restaurant around this place.

Very well maintained and clean hotel that serves tasty vegetarian food. The location is right next to highway making it easy to have a quick food break on your journey. Serving took a little time (~ 10-15mins) but the wait was worth, as the food was tasty. Can definitely consider if you are looking to take a quick food break on your drive on this route.

Being very next to highway dakshin swaad serves best quality vegetarian food (North, south , chats and more) .... Very less serving time ...no much crowd... happily we can have our food with family / frnds

Our friends planned for weekend trip from Bangalore. On route to antaragange caves, we found this restaurant suggested by a localite The restaurant is well maintained and breakfast is good with a space availability for car and bike parking at the entrance. The breakfast price is bit higher side but in case if you want to take break from the drive and spend some leisure time and dine in it can be a good option

First time I have fallen sick in last 6 months. Thanks Dakshin Swaad for ending my good run. I have a sore throat after eating from here. Something wrong with their Sambhar it caused a burning sensation when I ate it. Most probably they use chemicals instead of Imly to make Sambhar acidic. I know because this has happened to me before.
