We
had
a
good
time
here.
The
food
is
well
above
average
Albanian
food,
and
from
what
I
understand
presenting
a
nice
assortment
of
dishes
from
this
cuisine,
with
some
creative
elements.
The
wine
(Kallmet
prestige)
was
the
best
Albanian
wine
we've
tried
during
our
stay
too.
Service
was
fast
and
friendly.
That
said,
it
is
not
fine
dining
and
has
probably
20%
more
hype
than
it
can
live
up
to.
All
of
the
dishes
were
good,
but
lacked
some
refinement,
i.e.
through
perfection
of
seasoning.
Zucchini
Plum
salad:
great
salad,
but
too
little
plum,
needed
way
more
acidity.
Spinach
Salad
with
Apple,
Figbread,
cheese:
the
best
dish
of
the
evening,
everything
was
right
here,
great
ingredients,
great
combination,
great
seasoning
Flin:
best
flin
we
had
in
Albania.
Definitely
comforting,
but
not
elevated/interesting.
Portion
way
too
big,
that
alone
could
have
been
dinner
for
1.
Jufka
with
butter:
good
pasta,
good
Butter,
but
again
20%
of
the
portion
would
have
sufficed,
impossible
to
finish.
Tranana+fermented
grains:
most
surprising
dish
of
the
evening.
This
was
the
closest
to
fine
dining
since
it
really
presented
something
unusual
and
confusing,
yet
delightful
Quail:
good
quail,
sauce
not
bad
either.
Desert:
wish
we
could
have
tried
but
we
were
simply
too
stuffed
from
the
above
and
asked
for
the
bill.
Bottom
line:
eat
well,
drink
well,
all
comforting,
not
fine
dining,
not
mind
blowing.
