Been there and in comparaison to one year ago quality of food seems lowered. Appetizers all in all ok but pasta, we took tris, is clearly with heavy butter and/or panna hence taste is rather heavy. Atmosphere cannot be rated high when the owner allows three kids to use the restaurant as playground (footbol included). Bill was fair and toilettes clean.

Delicious gourmet cousine! Instead of just having two starters we were offered four different (half) portions. The dishes were selected by the waiters and they were all really tasteful! Great wine, atmosphere and service.

The restaurant was recommended by a local friend. We would otherwise never have given this place a chance. The hidden spot, the unpretentious external look, would never let you imagine the wonder. The food is excellent, the home made pasta is amazing. The fine cuisine offered is prepared with utmost care for details. The service is careful and fair, though not pompous. And the atmosphere is quite and relaxing. A good choice of quality wines (a little too expensive for the choice) completes the offer.

Terrible service and mediocre food. We entered late, around 22h asking politely if it was too late for dinner. They said that there is plenty of time. We choose 4 main dishes and while talking with the waiter about appetizers he said he will bring us few to taste- huge mistake. They are overcharging for them. We order bottle of wine which we were told is 20 something € but end up being 30€. After the first appetizer the waiter was pushing us to eat faster and was pouring the wine after each sip we took so we can finish and leave faster. I dont know why they just didn’t tell us they want to close earlier. We ended up paying 120€ for a pasta, few appetizers and wine and we were rushed to eat everything very fast. We didn’t even finish our wine. They told us they are closing and moving this place to the airport so I guess thats why they dont care for the customers. Shame!

We just had an awesome dinner at amor restaurant. The food is delicious as I haven't had it in any other place in Tirana yet, the service is very handsome and friendly and the atmosphere is is lovely - as quoted by the name. We got the mixed starters, homemade ravioli filled with duck and apricot, and the veal. All dishes were served on point and fantastic. It is slightly more expensive than the more touristic places, but If you want to get great value for money I definitely can recommend this place.

We went for dining with friends, the owner wellcomed us, we selected wine and let him to bring us 5 or 6 types of very delicious food one over the other, and then the main meal. We all enjoyed it, the owner treated us as we were guests at his home, coming and going by time explaining the delicious food he was bringing, we all enjoyed it.

In short: great food, terrible service. I have visited this restaurant several times in past 3 years, but this will be my last time. Food is consistently very good; this time we have tried vegetable soup and different pasta dishes, in the past I have tried also desserts and fish. Ingredients that they use are fresh and good quality, pastas home made, dishes offered in very interesting combinations of herbs and flavours. Why I give 2 stars is the atmosphere and arrogance of the owner. As waiter does not speak English, the owner recommends and takes the order. We were waiting for him to approach although he was sitting 2 metres away from us. His attitude was unwelcoming, tone of voice even rude ('what foreigners usually take...' ), insisting to take what he recommended, in short - he was very openly looking down on us. In the restaurant there is no music or anything that would warm the atmosphere and with this attitude of the owner, we just quickly finished the meal and left to another place to have dessert. In Albania there are many great restaurants with all important elements at high(er) level so this restaurant will not be missed in the future.

We had a great dinner and evening there with our youngest (baby chairs available!). We had a culinary trip through a seemingly never ending array of local antipasti, followed by excellent main courses (veal, duck), along with a nice bottle of Albanian wine. The antipasti frenzy left us with no space for dessert, unfortunately. All of the starters were delicious, but the main courses were simply outstanding and amazing. Served by very nice and friendly hosts who make you feel at home instantly. Highly recommended, this is a fantastic place - great menu, great choice, professional and hospitable, fabulous dishes.
