Michelin
kind
of
place
with
fresh
food,
creative
decorations
but
very
costly
for
Tirana
:(
I
was
invited
to
lunch
at
Umami
for
a
birthday
celebration.
The
place
has
a
modern
feel
with
an
open
[glass]
kitchen
and
very
clean
bathrooms.
Good
service
with
attentive
waiters
that
give
good
suggestions,
are
thoughtful,
have
good
sense
of
humour
and
most
of
all
there
was
a
girl
among
men
which
was
the
highlight
for
me
:)
Kudos
to
the
management
for
supporting
hiring
women
in
the
workplace
-
more
I
say!
Coming
to
the
decor
I
would
have
preferred
some
Albanian
influence
rather
than
the
typical
modern
style
furniture
but
that's
a
personal
and
very
individual
comment.
We
shared
few
dishes:
-
quinoa
and
arugula
salad:
Nice
and
fresh
both.
A
plate
is
good
size
for
two
people
to
share
-
shrimp
donuts
(petulla)
inspired
by
the
Albanian
petulla
dish
that
used
to
be
very
popular
back
in
the
days
growing
up
as
children
so
it
brought
back
a
lot
of
childhood
memories.
It
was
lovely
although
I
couldn't
taste
the
shrimp
too
much.
The
petulla
was
overpowering
the
poor
shrimp
:P
.
A
lovely
dish
nonetheless.
Very
small
dish
to
share
:(
unless
you
are
ok
with
literally
just
1
bite!
-
As
mains
we
shared
the
burger
plate
which
was
stuffing
and
Ok
tasting
but
nothing
exceptional
-
could
easily
be
shared
with
two
people
if
you
are
sharing
salads
and
appetisers
as
well
as
the
mushroom
risotto
which
was
delicious
and
a
good
size
plate
so
can
be
shared
as
well.
-
We
ordered
a
very
expensive
60$
wine
shared
among
5
people
-
Monsordo
Roso
2014
Langhe
which
was
very
light
and
smooth
finish.
-
two
desserts:
Chocolate
mousse
which
was
to
die
for
and
lemon
curd
tart
which
was
nice
but
not
great
-
the
curd
was
a
bit
runny
and
had
a
slight
egg-y
smell
which
can
put
off
people
a
little
bit.
Overall
a
good
experience
to
have
but
too
expensive
for
my
pocket
:(
Good
to
try
for
business
meetings
or
a
romantic
lunch/dinner
with
your
loved
one
for
once
in
a
while.
Good
for
groups
so
you
can
try
more
dishes.
Some
Albanian
motives
would
have
been
appreciated
like
murals
or
paintings
or
traditional
carpets
or
antique
pieces
etc...Don't
remember
if
I
saw
any
potted
plants
around
the
restaurant
grounds
or
close
to
the
table
but
it
would
be
nice
to
have
some
types
that
give
O2
during
the
day
and
night
:)
Plants
are
always
a
great
addition
to
any
place
and
just
warm
up
the
environment
and
makes
it
more
cozy!
