If you are craving for HALAL food in Tirana, Albania, than you must head to Golden Taste Restaurant. We tried Beef Steak, Chicken Pasta and Albanian local dish Tave Dheu with bread. Also, Recommend to try fresh orange juice. I have attached receipt for cost reference. I will visit again to explore more dishes as Tave Dheu was the best of all and Halal meat is available. Note: Beware that many restaurants claim that Chicken is Halal. Mostly, people don’t know the difference of Halal Chicken in Tirana. At Golden Taste, they procure Halal meat from Turkey and knows the difference. It is built at ground floor of Head Quarters of Muslim Community in Albania as per the Restaurant representative. They don't serve Alcohol and any non-Halal item. I inquired about Halal certificate on which I received response that Albania does not have a certification body yet as it is currently small. We are so happy we chose Golden Taste for our post-wedding family brunch. They took such amazing care of our family and guests. As always, they have the freshest HALAL food in Tirana made with love and sophistication. You MUST try the fresh, house-made Apple juice and the Baklava. I can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in Tirana.

Nice place to have halal quality food. I love their Pasta and Tave Dheu (local dish).

The service is a disaster, it took them 10minutes to notice us, what are we? Invisible? The staff is inexperienced, they're always looking away or they're in another universe, their backs are always against us and what do i have to do to get an attention? Dress as a clown? The food is average, the ingredients aren't clear and c'mon just look at that poor menu, it's like it survived a fight. The bruschetti were nice, the Turkish tea was an utter disappointment, I'd never return to this place, they don't accept credit cards and they for sure don't take care of their customers that aren't regulars, this is a place where people go to eat on a break from their jobs and it's quite busy around 12:00 till 13:00, don't come at that time i mean don't come at all, save your money for another restaurant.

If you’re looking for phenomenal authentic food with great ambience and welcoming staff, look no further. We ate here several times during our short stay and it was better each time. We were never disappointed with each new dish we tried. Very close and conveniently located near Toptani mall and nearby hotels.

Alhumdulillah, best halal food in Tirana. Big portions (I ordered too much). The Caesar salad is big! Great value. Very nice and clean, must be brilliant in the summer when you can seat outside. Location is in a side alley from main road.

Went to the Golden Taste for second time and had an amazing experience again! As the restaurant serves HALAL food so we tried to experiment with other chicken dishes. We had risoto me mish pule (rice with chicken), fileto pule (chicken fillets with mushroom sauce) and fresh orange juice with a total damage of only 1600 lek. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are a big time foodie and struggling to have halal food in Tirana.

Surprisingly inexperienced staff, something that is not very common for restaurants in Tirana. Took them a while to notice us, all three had their backs turned on us. The bruschetti were good, and the vegetables were decent, but man the turkish tea was horrible and the cheese dip had meat and bits of skin in it, I suppose chicken, but chicken wasn't even mentioned in the menu. Kinda disgusting. I was super excited to try this place but walked up utterly disappointed, they seemed to not really give a f**k about the food.

Halal Food!! Wow! Where to begin really...? Amazing restaurant, the ambience, design and location is fantastic! Close to the almost newly built mosque, has a vet large outdoor seating area would be perfect for the warmer months. Inside the restaurant has ample space and the tables aren’t too close to each other. As for food the menu is very extensive, ideal for those that are looking to grab a bite during lunch hours or in the evening for a nice romantic date. As for what I chose, I had the chicken soup which was piping hot, creamy, had a nice texture with the right blend of spices. To be fair it was very filling. The second dish I ordered was creamy mushroom spaghetti which was also delicious. I never got a chance to take a photo but I’d recommend trying the Kosovo bean appetiser but just a caution it is quite filling. Just a quick word about the owner Distam is a very friendly & hospitable host, loves having a nice conversation. If you are in Albania and especially Tirana please check this please out!!

Haben das Restaurant zufällig ausgewählt und wurden sofort freundlich bedient. Der Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren sehr groß. Super Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Da gibt man noch sehr gerne Trinkgeld.

In the summer I visited Golden taste Great food. Everything is perfect. Baklava is the best dessert I have ever tasted .. Innaa the best girl I have met in Albania I hope to meet again next summer
