The staff was very helpful and the morning buffet was very good. I had a room facing the fountain which had a bit of a view, but could also get smokey if there are a lot of people smoking at the outdoor Cafe below. Know, temps in the mid 60s are cold to people in Tirana, so the hotel shut off the A/C and turned on the heat. They were surprised to hear I was hot. Other than that, I thought the location was good, with stores to buy water being very close. Other than breakfast, I didn't prefer the restaurant but there are a lot of options a short walk past all the embassies.

This was a wonderful experience. A first class room, friendly and competent staff, a good location and with good security (embassies close by). I loved the fountain in the square which turned off at 11 and on at 7. A nice little touch.

I am only using the bar caffee. Really nice view, a nice position. The only problem, hopefully not for long, is the dust and higher pollution of the air because of the rebuilding of the road. We do not build health structures under Covid but we rebuild for the hundredth time the same road. I left the above review apparently 3 years ago. I have been frequenting the bar in the last month and I think that for a 4 star hotel there are some things that are not right. There is one major thing which is quite disturbing. There is a square with a small fontein in front of the hotel where many parents with children and toddler come every night. Children scream and play loudly and I wonder why is it that the management does not do anything. I have to say, children here are very rude and parent do nothing to teach them what it means to share a common space and boundaries are. If I chose a 4 stars hotel I would not want to listen to little humans screaming as they were in caves and not in the middle of the city. I tried today some french fries and they were not fresh, frozen potatoes. Again, I dont think this should be served in such hotel. Beside the fact that I am under pain after eating a few of them, having a very sensitive stomach. The cappuccino is ok but whatever else I have ordered, cocoa, frappe, and milkshake, not good. However, I have to say that the guys who serve are very helpful and nice. And they are one big reason that we come and have the coffee evening here. Also the only reason to keep coming. Also my dog loves it here, outside of course. But for sure, I would not dare to try eating anything else. I am waiting to feel better before going but after 30 minutes I am still in pain. I would give 5 stars to the boys serving at the bar. I cant judge room service and I will never need it since I live here. With all the noise that children cause though I would have not stayed for long.

Had heard about Hotel Colosseo but never stayed there until today. I'm surprised that it was this good. Easy check in and out. Free parking, helpful staff. We were assigned room 405, which was an excellent room, on par with Sheraton, Embassy Suites, or top Hilton brands. It had a beautiful bathroom, spacious and very clean. Very well decorated and spacious bedroom too. This was a one-bedroom suite with a sitting room with its own TV and two couches. I would like to stay here again soon, but I'm afraid that this room or similar one-bedroom suite is not going to be available, and as such I'd be disappointed. The hotel is a short and pleasant walk from the city center. Highly recommended!

Called to order some caesar piadina to pickup, they did not have prepared them at all although they told us would be ready in 15 min to collect. After waiting there we got some piadina with “prosciutto” instead of pieces of chicken as we got another time. Manager (phone number on google maps) says they dont deal with issues for restaurants and we should go to the Colosseo restaurant ourselves to manage this. Very poor the whole experience for a Hotel with Restaurants with 4 stars.

Myself and my husband were in Tirana for our wedding. We had been let down by our previously booked hotel and the Colesseo saved us! This hotel is excellent! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed! It is so clean and the rooms spacious (well, our double room was). The breakfast was great, and the location is fantastic- you are right in the hub of everything with easy access to all the main tourist sites! I can honestly say one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, such a wonderful atmosphere and a little piece of peace and tranquillity in the hustle and bustle of the city. We would 100% stay here again and cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work and friendliness while we were there!

I was only at the restaurant, the hotel has a very good location next to the embassies corridor. The service was good.

Called number on google maps, manager replied, ordered something from restaurant to pick up in 15 min, arrived there after 20 minutes and the restaurant said they received no order from no one. Had to wait again, because the manager who replied on the phone did not brought our order to the hotel restaurant. Very very unprofessional.

We ordered two different pastas and after waiting an hour they brought us two of the same pasta. When I told them this was not what I ordered they said that what they brought was fresher than what I ordered. I went home hungry because they decided to change my order without asking me.

Nice hotel, top location, friendly staff, testy breakfast , clean rooms, I can recommend to all - gerne wieder 👌

I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my room but the cleaning ladies entered anyway when I was having dinner in the city and the next day at checkout they told me I have to pay a water from the minibar. I told them I didn’t open the minibar and didn’t take any water. I had to pay it anyway. This looks unserious for such a big and nice hotel!!!

I would recomend their restaurant which serves good food .Iam Totally satisfied.. The location is very good and the setting is well arranged.The waiters are very polite .

I'll talk about the many positives I saw in this place, The staff is very friendly, the reception disk was very polite, professional and helpful . The cleanliness of the place was good, the food was good and I liked the view very much. Only one incident happened that I didn't like when I had a flight change and asked for an early check in, the hotel confirmed but when we arrived there were no rooms to book us because the booking team got confused between 1:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. However the reception desk acted professionally and booked us a room in another nearby hotel. The manager apologized for the incident and everything after that was great. I'll say it again the best thing was the staff.

Very helpful staff. Nice clean rooms. A very good place to stay if you are into walking in Tirana or using public transportation. The parking only has 5 spots but after all I arrived in just one car😎😎. The morning buffet is great

It is clean but very dated, a 3 star hotel as far as amenities. One elevator so expect some wait. The breakfast was simple. A safe place to stay for a night.

I was left without room no matter reservation was confirmed via email. Imagine being rejected for the room around 3am, middle of the night.

Nothing but praise for a friendly hard working staff. Even when the morning buffet was short handed, the server never lost his cool and continued to manage an amazing plethora of details with patience and professionalism. When I asked to see a room before booking, no problem, escorted up and shown the immaculate space. Need a bucket of ice for a celebratory bottle of champagne that I brought in. No problem. Time and again, the staff exceeded expectations and was genuinely friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and so the VIP treatment which felt standard there was very much appreciated. I would also like to brag a little bit on the location because I enjoyed walking down Embassy Row to get to the fun shopping area but I also like to mingle with the locals and there were many nearby places with a relaxed vibe. Our balcony view made us feel extra special. Highly recommend. PS take a close look at the buffet before you fill up your plate because there’s a lot to choose from

Dinner at Hotel Colosseo was perfect. Especially the waiter (Elvis) was highly professional, friendly and polite. Best quality! The food was delicious and of high quality. Fresh bread. We strongly recommend!
