It is a nice pedestrian street full of bars, restaurants and shops. The name is Tirana castle but is not a real castle. It had been open recently in an area owned by Toptani family renovated but trying to keep a vintage style. It is not really authentic but still something close to the albanian style.

The Tirana Castle (Albanian: Kalaja e Tiranës) is a old bazar place of Tirana. Its history dates back before 1300 and is a remnant from the Byzantine-era. The fortress is the place where the main east-west and north-south roads crossed, and formed the heart of Tirana. The current fortification has three known towers and it is undergoing a process of restoration, for touristic purposes. Inside the fortified walls of the former fortress, there are many buildings that can be visited, including traditional cuisine restaurants, traditional house as cultural institution, souvenir shop etc.

It’s a pretty compact area with great bars & restaurants. One of the best places to hang out in Tirana.

Don't expect to see old artifacts from the castle .. only coffee shops and stores

It is located in an easily accessible place in the middle of the city and has many restaurants and cafes. In general, the inside is more expensive than outside, but if you come to visit, I highly recommend you try it once.

A wooden train with vases of flowers decorates the entrance to the Tirana Castle from the river side of the city.

The capital city has already a new cultural attraction, the Castle of Tirana. Bars, restaurants, shops, touristic agency offices, art galleries and more other facilities to visitors offer nowadays a wide range of services and products to all visitors of all ages.

On a sunny day in Tirana a lovely place to spend time drinking coffee, eating ice cream or having a meal. The souvenir shops are a little on the pricey side but there are some lovely pieces here. Listen out for some great folk music from the North of Albania too.

Nice location, tables a bit crowded. BBQ ribs served with mayo as no BBQ! Small and overcooked. Poor service, ran dry twice as our waiter busy chatting. Ended up leaving before dessert as thirsty!!! Food was basic and ok, wine warm and scarce - won't be going back.

Favorite place for Christmas, you get the festive feeling. You can have erverything to eat and drink. Don't miss it.

It’s not really a castle, it’s a small pedestrian street with high end restaurants and souvenir shops. We didn’t try any of the restaurants but ambiance and overall feel is very good.

High end food street to enjoy the cafe & food offered by various restaurants & also fir shopping if curios and gifts.

A beautiful place for a weekend walk. You can find there restaurant, caffè and traditional souvenirs. Recommended
