It was really nice having an attempt at a burger. I mean it was a burger technically, just not the same as back home. I’m not sure it’s ground beef but maybe a mixture or something else completely. It basically tasted like a meatball patty but it wasn’t bad. It reminded me of a reminder of a burger back when. Great service, good portions, would recommend and would return.

The best place for a lazy Saturday brunch outside with the view. Pity they don't work in Sundays. Eggs Benedict are better with ham, as salmon ones contain unexpected pieces of raw onions. May be just a bit slow on a Saturday but here it's completely acceptable.

Absolutely worth a try. If you’re missing flavors of home or just tired of Souvlaki and Kofte - the menu is diverse with interesting flavors and fresh food. The cheesecake is as good as they say (though my crust was a tad bit burnt) and the service was phenomenal - even with a few long waits. I would definitely go again when back in Tirana.

Went twice in one week when craving some American food and they have great healthier options too with their salads. Had a burger and fries and the next day came for the Chinese chicken salad and corn chowder soup. They have AC seating inside which is a huge plus. My friend got their burrito and it looked great. Huge menu to choose from.

As an American I can say the food was spot on. The portions are big. The menu is varied, having also Asian and Mexican dishes (but Americna style). The food was all what you'd expect, good quality. It's not like real pasta or real Mexican food, those of course you need to get at authentic restaurants. But it was good. Inside and outside seating. Menu in English. Staff friendly.

The caveat is that it was a crowded Saturday morning. However, the waitress took the order without writing anything down. She then brought out the wrong coffee order, the wrong entree, and then forgot the side dish. The main course came out quickly from the kitchen, but it was not the correct order. After another 25 minutes our order came. The eggs Benedict were lukewarm with a very congealed and over cooked poached egg (see picture). I enjoyed the ambiance but the service was poor. Maybe I caught the waitress having a bad day? The thing that will keep me from returning was when the waitress gave us the wrong change. My wife pointed out she owed us another 20 lek. The waitress’ retort was that my wife counted incorrectly. We had to get out a calculator to prove to her she still owed us more change. She admitted to the mistake but was unapologetic. Quite an irksome end to an already irritating dining experience.

I spent a month in Tirana and this restaurant was my most visited place. The food is great and the service is fantastic. A nice selection of food 😀

We had Thanksgiving dinner here and it was lovely! Sat outside and had a heater to keep us warm. Welcoming atmosphere and the food was really good! The waitstaff was friendly and spoke English. There was live music as well. We were so happy to find this place and have a little piece of America on our holiday!

2024 - and a milestone since The Stephen Centre was opened by Chris and Laura 30 years ago. I'm reminded of the fact by an unearthed Italian aid charity's 1993 video showing the very same, but empty building in which the successful enterprise began and prospered. I've lost count of how many times I've stayed there and each time it's been so welcoming, clean, comfortable and good value. Highly recommended in every way and do check out the local area while you're there.

Excellent American breakfasts and lunches. Go here for a proper burger with bacon. Delicious pancakes with butter, honey and american style crispy bacon. All day breakfasts, steaks and burgers for lunch and massive salads. Parking is easily found at a small park next to the roundabout. Great place for people watching and close to the new market.

Absolutely love this place! Best breakfast spot in Tirana. The staff are great and owners delightful. Although a little more pricey than comparable spots it’s definitely worth it! My go to was the Mexican breakfast I just couldn’t get enough of it and I especially loved that the bacon was streaky and very crispy. These are important details for a bacon aficionado!

Great meals. English breakfast. Everything was of great quality and price. We were even greeted by the original owner. Pancakes were really nice too. Ham and cheese sandwiches were huge and real cheap if you wanted to keep costs down. All in all, very happy.

My family and I have visited Albania twice now and we see this as our “regular” spot. The menu is extensive, something for everyone - even our fussy 5 year old - and the food is always delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly, well spoken, very good english and everything is served with a smile. Highly recommended!

I was at Stephen Center today with my nephew and my sister for lunch. My nephew wanted to have a good burger for lunch so we took the chicken sandwich and the cheese burger. They do not have to much vegetarian plates in the menu so I did not have a lot of choices but the onion rings and nachos were just fine for me. The cherry pie and the brownie were delicious as well. I am giving them 5 stars also because my nephew forgot his school bag and we went there two hours latter and the waiter returned that to us.

I had the avocado salad, and it was better than expected, although i didn't like the walnuts in it, as they tasted rancid and old. The chicken wings were extra crispy, and not really to my liking, as i had a hard time chewing on them. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. I was told by my party that this is a breakfast place, so i give this place the benefit of the doubt:)

We really like the food at Stephen Center and the service has always been great. The Thanksgiving Dinner was amazing. However I was pretty shocked to see their recent price hike. I understand that prices are rising everywhere, but the increase at Stephen Center was pretty substantial and definitely makes it less likely for us to go there in the future.

I tried Stephen's for the first time. Love the hazelnut Latte. Ordered 1 banana pancake and 1walnut pancake. Unfortunately they were cold and the syrup was cold. Hot syrup is a must with pancakes cause they do not stay hot very long sitting in the window waiting foe the server. I also ordered scrambled eggs and bacon. The eggs were scrambled well but too well and a bit dry. Bacon was very soft and thankfully not too salty but taste pretty good. All that toast was not needed. Cause I ordered pancakes. Pancakes were tasty with the hot syrup which the server delivered but a little heavy. Don't see how anybody could eat a stack of these. You're best to get only one or two. I will visit again. Service was pleasant and quick. Nice lively place to have breakfast or lunch. Menu is filled with great dishes.closed on Sunday. But today Saturday was really nice. For a stroll through the Bazaar Pizzari.

Good place for having breakfast with a wide selection of options like eggs, pancakes, coffee , juices… a bit overpriced to be Albania, though. I recommend English breakfast. Friendly service and beautiful terrace.

The seating is indoor/outdoor with a lovely environment. It is in a very popular area and outdoor seating only is disability accessible. The menu offers a very wide variety of options ranging from American food to Spanish cuisine to dishes from Asia. The dessert menu is quite large. Waitresses/Waiters often speak English.

The food is okay, I come here all the time. The only problem is that they are veryyyy slowww, and I am not talking about how it takes at least 30-40min for the food to come after you have already ordered it. I am talking about how it takes them about that long to come and take the order or even bring the bill when you ask for it. So do make sure you have over 1 hour time if you really want to sit and eat something here. It is almost the same with the drinks.

The brightest spot about the place is the wonderful service and the very sociable host/owner!! I've eaten there three times in the last two months. The first time, I had the club sandwich and fries, if I recall correctly (about the fries). It was quite enjoyable! Tablemates had breakfasts and the two with hash browns looked amazing! The second time, I had french toast and sausage. The toast was OK but the syrup was delicious! The sausage reminded me of hotdogs so next time, I'll order bacon. The last time I ate there, a week ago, I tried one of their Asian dishes. The rice was WAY undercooked, an absolute rookie mistake. I don't eat much rice so I pretty much skipped that. I've forgotten what the dish was called, basically some mixed veg with some meat. It had lots of nice flavours but without the rice to balance it out, I didn't like it. I certainly wouldn't take the chance to order it again. Their menu is wonderfully diverse so I'll try several more times in the next three weeks I'm here in Tirana. It feels like eating at someone's home!

Ordered fried chicken, does NOT look like the picture, was just two fried dry chicken breasts & the waiter said that's just how it is. There was no chicken wings, tenders or nugget shaped pieces as advertised by the menu photo. The pizza also looks/tastes store brought and is much smaller than other places with the same price. The side of fries was also pretty limp/stale for the wait time it took to cook. For these prices this is not worth it, you can do better elsewhere.

Tried this place tonight for the first time. The atmosphere was very nice and the servers were very friendly. Other reviews said the service was slow, but we didn't find that to be a problem. Went to grab a quick bite on a not-too-busy weekday but somehow ended up waiting for 15 minutes before the waiter took our order. Ordered two Cokes and a Club Sandwich. Other diners who came in after us got our food before us. Meanwhile, we got the Cokes right away but had to wait for more than 40 minutes to get the sandwiches. During this time, the waiters didn't offer any explanation as to why my meal was delayed, nor did they apologize for the long wait time. Customer service has always been hit-and-miss at Stephen's but assuming they might be understaffed, I had simply brushed it off as bad management and always tipped. However, this was not the case. There were two waiters who only had 5 tables to serve.

Stayed here for two nights. Very clean and cozy. There is a shuttle service available to and from the airport which was most convenient. Breakfast is included in the cost and is made to order at a lovely cafe downstairs. Everyone I met associated with this establishment was kind and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

They have a variety of dishes, a breakfast meny and lunches and main dishes of all sorts. As far as I know this is the only Christian restaurant in town and one of the oldest ones (open after the fall of comunism) so they have served so many people during all these years. I like their service too. They serve different teas and coffee's as well. If you want an American feel to your experience, you will find it here. If you are a Christian, you will probably meet others who love the Lord in this place... I definitely recommend this place! You will too after you try their food... Enjoy it...
