We randomly walkes by this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. It is okay to try Albanian food here I think. We ordered russian salad, grilled pork and grilled chicken. The chicken was good, better to eat with some salad because it is quite salty. The meat was quite dry, imo. The portions were large and worth the money.

I got the small mix meat which has lamb, pork, chicken and wings. It was big portion enough for 2 people. My friend also ordered the same but the waitor didn't understand but the portion was enough for 2. Otherwise, service was pretty good.

Over two dinners I ate chicken shish kebabs, tipiti (a dip similar to tzatziki), fergese (another dip with their cottage cheese 'djathe'), grilled veg, simit (the Turkish origin soft round bread which they stick on the grill as well for a nice char and crunch), and tried their beer and raki. All excellent, and so cheap. There are a couple of 'Restoran Tradicional' places on this stretch of Kavajes that are made to look inviting but are overpriced and underwhelming (that's why you won't find many locals in there). Avoid those, go to Zhidro. You won't regret it!

Last night my wife and I decided to have a dinner there but nothing was enjoyable. Things fell in the ground like forks and knifes and the waiters just took them from the ground and gave to people without even cleaning them first. And we had to wait more than half an hour for the salad to be served and an hour for the meat. Poor staff and not organized. We didn't enjoy the dinner at all. The food was ok but the place didn't seem to be clean at all and very unsafe to eat there bc the dishwashing area was to close to the grill. I wouldn't recommend this place.
